vyāyāmabhārādhyayanavyavo yātapasevanaiḥ |
tīkṣṇoṣṇakṣāralavaṇair amlaiḥ kaṭvabhir eva ca c ||
abhīkṣṇaṃ sevato tyuṣṇo rasaḥ pittam pradūṣayet |
pittam vidagdhaṃ svaguṇair vvidahatyāśu śoṇitaṃ ||
tataḥ pravattate raktam ūrdddhañ cādho dvidhāpi vā |
āmāsayād vrajed ūrdhvam acdhaḥ pakvāsayād rahet ||
vidagdhayoś cāpy ubhayor dvidhābhāgam pravarttena |
ūrdhvan sādhyamadhoyāpyamasādhyaṃ yugapadgataṃ ||
yakṛn plīhāsyām ichanti kecid raktagatiṃ janāḥ |

lohagandhiś ca niśvāso bhavaty asmin bhaviṣyati ||
vāhyāsṛglakṣaṇais tasya saL khyā doṣocchritair vviduḥ ||
daurvvalyaṃśvāsakāsajvaravamathumadā pāṇḍutādāhamūrcchā bhukte cānne vidāhas tv adhṛtir api sadā hṛdyatulyāvapīḍā|
tṛṣṇā kaṇṭhasya bhedaḥ śirasi ca pavanaṃ pūtiniṣṭhīvanañ ca
dveṣo bakte vipāko viratir api bhavad racktapittopasargāt ||
mānsaprakṣālanābhaṃ kvathitam api yakṛtkarddamāmbhonibham vā medaḥ pūyāsthikalpaṃ yakṛd iva yadi vā pakvajambūphalābhaṃ |
yat kṛṣṇaṃ yac ca nīlabhṛśamactikuṇapaṃ yatra coktā vikārās tad varjyaṃ raktapittaṃ surapatidhanuṣā yac ca tulyam vibhāti ||
nodṛktam ādausaṃgrhyāṃ valinobhiṣajā sadā |

madhūkasaubhāñjanakodirajaiḥ priyaṅgukānāṃ kusumaiś ca cūrṇṇitaḥ |

pītaṃ yad annam upayujya tad ūrddhvakāye hatvā gadāṃ bahuvidhāṃś ca balaṃ dadāti ||
