This manuscript, held at the Asiatic Society in Kolkata, extends from the beginning of the Jātisamuddeśa to the end of the Kriyāsamuddeśa. It is very closely correlated with the manuscript from Delhi University Library (D) — it incorporates a marginal gloss from D, āryā, into the body of the main text. Not much is known with regards to the provenance of the manuscript, which forms part of the Government Collection ― Haraprasāda Shāstrī, in the preface to the first volume of his manuscript catalogue, writes that the collection began under the order of Lord Lawrence's Government in 1808 (III).

ghaṭākādopadhānapuraḥsaraṃ ghaṭaśabdena brahmadravyam abhimukhīkriyate paṭākāropadhāneLna tu paṭaśabdenetvādy upādhirūpopahitavivekitvam abhidhānīyaṃ | tad yathā nāḍikāśuṣiravartmanihitanayanās tadava⸤kāśāvaschitam evārthabhāgaṃ paśyaṃti tathāvidyāvachinnapṛthak_śaktibhir ākārabhedair eva vastūpalakṣyate tathaiva ca ya⸤thādhyavasāyaṃ śabdaniveśāchabdair abhidhāyata ity arthaḥ

teṣv ākāreṣu ya śabdas tathābhūteṣu vartate ⸤|
tatvātmakatvāt tenāpi nityam evābhidhāyate ||
upādhimātrasvabhāveṣv api saṃniveśādyākāreyu saṃniveśādiśa⸤bda vartamānā paramārthatas tatvād avyatirekād upādhīnāṃ tanniṣkarṣe svarūpasyāsvarūpatvād ātmanaiva satvāt tad eva nitya⸤m upādhimallīnatā tadā dravyam evam apy abhidhāne bhihitaṃ bhavāti tatvam ātmā hy apādhānāṃ na tu tevalasyātmā⸤na iti vyāpakatvāt sarva evopādhayas tadātmanā saṃtas tathaivābhidhāyaṃte dā hy upādhimallānatā tadopādheya Ldhayo na bhavaṃti tatas tu nimerṣe dharmāṃtarāśrayatayā svātaṃtryād upādhimatvam eva nopādhitvam ity āśayaḥ
yady evaṃ dha⸤rmāṇām avasthāṃtare dharmirūpatvān nityatve satyatve cākārīṇām asatyatvaṃ dravyasya tu satyatvam ity etasya ni⸤yamasyānupapattir ity āśaṃkyāha ||_
na tatvātatvayor bheda iti vṛddhebhya āgamaḥ_
atatvam iti manyaṃtve tatva⸤m evā'vivāritaṃ ||
ayam atrārthaḥ nehādvaitanaye satyāsatye dve rūpe stuḥ advaitahāniprasaṃgāt_ kiṃ tu pāra⸤mārthikam ekam evādvayaṃ tac cānādisiddhāviyāvilasitasahayamāpramātṛviṣayatayā yathātatvam a⸤tadhabhāsamānam anekavikalpaparighaṭitākārarūpatayā vyavahāram avatarati tathā va tad evākāranānā⸤tvonnīyamānasvarūpabheda cakāsti nānyat_ tadyatiriktasyānyasyābhāvāt_
tatra ca yo yaṃ praṃkāśaḥ sa vidyā ⸤aprakāśas tu tamo vidyā na ca prakāśābhāvo prakāśo nāma kaścit pramāṇasiddho nirūpyaḥ tataś ca yo yaṃ bheda⸤prakāśaḥ saivaikaghānaprakāśābhāvaḥ prakāśavichedo vidyā tatra ca vichinnānvayo vachedo vadhāryate iti vi⸤chinnaprakāśaḥ satyo vidyaiva vichedamātraṃ tv apradhānasvabhāvaṃ na kiṃcid avidyeti paramārthatvavicāre kiṃcid a⸤tatvaṃ vyavatiṣṭate tatvam eva yathāpratibhāsaṃ bhedena cakāsad avicāritaramaṇāyaṃ prapaṃco tatvam iti vyavahri⸤yata iti brahmavidaḥ tathā cāvicāritaramaṇīyaṃ parākṣayā vyavasthitaṃ tatvam evābhinnaṃ tīrthikā bhedadarśanavyaLvasthitā bhedātmakam atatvaṃ manyaṃta iti vicāreṇa vidyāvilaye brahmaikaniṣṭatā darśanaṃ | tad uktaṃ satyā viśu⸤ddhis tatroktā vidyaivetyādi |
evaṃ tena tena rūpeṇa brahmaiva vikalpitaṃ bhavatīti sarvaviśabdānāṃdyānāṃ tadupā⸤dhimukhaṃ tad eva viṣayaḥ siddha ity āha ||
vikalparūpaṃ bhajate tatvam evāvikalpita |
na cātra kālabhedo sti kā⸤labhedaś ca gṛhyate
paramārthato 'vikalpitaṃ vikalpānām aviṣayo yat tattvaṃ tad eva vyavahāre nyasyābhāvād vikalpamā⸤naṃ vikalparūpaṃ nānātridhabhedāvabhāsamānādisiddhāvidyāvaśāt samavalaṃbate jīvātmabhedenāvatiṣṭamānaṃ ⸤tadgatatveneti mūrttivivarttāśrayadik_śaktinibhaktadeśanānātvaṃ nimittapaurvāparyāvalaṃbanasahaṃ evam akā⸤lakalitam api tatvam anādinidhanaṃ kālākhyasvataṃtraśaktiviniveśitapratibaṃdhābhyanujñāvaśāj janmādi⸤bhāvavikārābhidhāyamānapaurvāparyaṃ cakāstāty arthaḥ
nanv avidyamānasya tatve pratibhānam ayuktam ity āśaṃkā ⸤dṛṣṭāṃtenopapādayati ||
yathā viṣayadharmāṇāṃ jñāne tyaṃtam asaṃbhava
tadātmeva va tat siddham atyaṃtam atadātma⸤kaṃ ||_
| vijñānavāde viṣayākārasya tāvato satyatvān nīlādis tadgato dharmo jaḍā 'jaḍe jñāne saṃbhavo 'tyaṃ⸤tam iti jaḍājaḍayor na kenacid aṃśena sārūpyam ity āha tathā coktaṃ ekadeśena sārūpye sarvaṃ syāt sarva⸤vedanaṃ | sarvātmanā tu sārūpye jñānam ajñānatā vrajed iti |
athavā saṃbhavidharmo kṣuritaṃ viśuddhabodhasvabhāLvam apy anujñāyā vyavahāre vabhāsata iti itthaṃ | nidarśanāṃtaram āha ||
|| tathā vikārarūpāṇāṃ tatve tyaṃtam asaṃbhavaḥ
ta⸤dātmeva ca tat tatvam atyaṃtam atadātmakaṃ ||
sāṃkhyāvikṛtaṃ pradhānatatvaṃ sarvavikāragraṃthi bījāvastham abhinnam anupasṛ⸤ṣṭam eva mahādādivikārarūpaiḥ paramārthataḥ tad dhi mahadādivikāraśaktiyuktaṃ guṇasāmyāvasthātmakaṃ guṇavai⸤ṣamyavimardavaśopajāyamānavikāranānātvād vilakṣaṇam eva ayaṃ ca vyavahāre mahadādivikārarūpāva⸤dhāraṇena vinā tadupalaṃbhāsaṃmava iti saveddeśeṣv avidyānvavinī evam asatyākāro pradhānena tatvapratibhā⸤saḥ siddha iti sādhyānvayo gṛhītaḥ
kathaṃ punar etad avagamyate ākārā asatyās tato nyat satyam ity āha ||
⸤satyam ākṛtisaṃhāre yad aṃte vyavatiṣṭate |
tan nityaṃ śabdavācyaṃ tachabdāṃt tatvaṃ na bhidyate ||
tad eva hi nityaṃ yasmiṃ⸤s tatvaṃ na vihanyate iti bhāṣyanusāreṇaitad ucyate | tathā hy atroktaṃ kanakam ity ava satyaṃ punar aparayākṛtyā yuktaṃ kha⸤dirāṃgāraḥ suvarṇakuṃḍale bhavata ity anenaiva dṛṣṭāṃtena vikārāpekṣayā bhinnasya brahmaṇaḥ satyatocyate tathā hi ⸤tatra rucakādyākāropamardena suvarṇam ity eva satyaṃ evam anaṃtavikāragrāmāpāṃye sarvāṃte vatiṣṭamānam anapāṃ⸤yi brahmarūpaṃ satyaṃ tad eva ca bhāvato nitya āpettyaṃ tu jātyādīnāṃ sarvavyavahāre nityatvam ucyate | tathā hi vyaktyapā⸤ye jātir avatimumānā gotvādikā nityā tatrāpy aśvatvādibhedatyāge pṛthivīty ava satyaṃ tatrāpy atyyādibheLbhedāpāye vastv ity eva satyaṃ sarvanāmapratyāyyaṃ tatrāpi saṃvidrūpasyāṃ nayāyino nugamād aviṣayākāraviveke tad eva pā⸤ramārthikaṃ satyam iti neti nety upāsīteti bhāvanayā codyate saṃvic ca paśyaṃtīrūpā parār vāk_ śabdabrahmamayī⸤ti brahmatatvaṃ śabdāt pāramārthikān na bhidyatte vivarttadaśāyāṃ tu vaiśvaryātmanā bheda tatra ca tad eva nityaṃ jātyādirūpeṇa ⸤śabdavācyaṃ ta_trāṃtare pādānaviśrāṃtyā vācakatvasya vyavasthāpanāt sarūpāṃtargatasyārthasya vācyatvād vācyavācakayo⸤r avibhāgaḥ siddhaḥ iti prathamakāṃḍe niṇātaṃ ata evānaṃtaram ihābhidhāsyati tasya śabdārthasaṃbaṃdhaṃ rūpam ekasya dṛśya⸤ta iti
yad uktaṃ tadātmeva ca tat tavam atyaṃtam atadātmakam iti tatrātyaṃtam atadātmakatāṃ tāvad vyācaṣṭe ||

na saṃsṛṣṭaṃ vibhaktaṃ vā na vikṛtaṃ na va nānyathā ||_
|| vaikārikasarvavyavahārātī⸤tatvāt pāramārthikena rūpeṇa vikārātmakaṃ tatvaṃ na bhavati tathā hi astāti na śakyate vyavaharttuṃ satvopādhikasya ⸤svarūpasya tatvasya bhāvayogāt tenātmanā yavahārānavatārāt | nāpi nāstīty abhāvopādhikasyāpy atathātvāt pramā⸤ṇena bhāvātmakasya tattvasyāveditatvād
ekasaṃkhyopādhāyamānasvarūpam aviśeṣaṃ tatvaṃ na bhati nihayādhitaḥ tatva⸤sya vastuto bhinnatvāt tathā caikam ity apratīteḥ nāpi pṛthaktvāhitaviśeṣaṃ tadbhinnasyāsatvāt_

pariṇāmaniṣedheLna vivarttābhyupagamān na vikṛtaṃ anekabhāvagrāmarūpatayā vādbhutayā vṛtyā vivartanād avikṛtam ity api na śakyate vyavaha⸤rvam iti sarvavyapadeśātītatvaṃ paraṃ brahma
atha ca tadātmaivāvidyāyām avadhāryata ity āha ||
|| tan nāsti vidyate tac ca tad e⸤kaṃ tat pathak_ pṛthak |
saṃsṛṣṭaṃ ca vibhaktaṃ ca vikṛtaṃ tat tad anyathā ||
|| bhāvāvavikārāvabhāsajananaśakti tad evāsti ca sa⸤ttāsattopādhikavyavahāramahāram ahebhāvas tu niḥsattāsattaṃ niḥsadasat paraṃ brahma rvyavahārikaṃ caikānekavyavahāraṃ jā⸤tivyaktyātmanā tad eva vartayati saṃkhyopādhikam api ca evaṃ saṃyogopādhikam api anyasaṃsargitayāvabhāsanāt | evaṃ vi⸤vekāvasāyas tatra tathā samastavikārātmanā janyamānam ivākāśādyātmanāt kṛṭasthatayā tad evāvabhāsa iti tadā⸤tmaiva tatvam ity uktaṃ
evaṃ ca kṛtvā sarvasya tanmayatvād virodhino pi vyavahārās tatraivopalīyaṃta ity āha ||
|| tasya śabdārthasaṃ⸤baṃdharūpam ekasya dṛśyate
tad dṛśyaṃ darśanaṃ draṣṭā darśane va prayojanaṃ ||
vācyavācakasaṃbaṃdhānā bhāvato dvayarūpatā tatra ⸤hy āṃtare tatvayujyarthaśaktī saṃsajyete iti vivartadaśāyāṃ śrutyarthaśākhātmanā tasyaiva vikāsād vācyavācakarūpatayā ⸤bhedāvabhāsau jñānajñeyaivāvidyeti brahmakāṃḍa eva prapaṃcenāyam artho smābhir nirṇāta iti tata evāvadhāryaṃ |
dṛśyarūpata⸤yā va tasyaiva vivartaḥ tathā hi dṛśyaṃ tāvad bhāvajātaṃ saṃcidupārūṭaṃ vedyamānaṃ veyatvād eva vedam anekam aparārthaprakā⸤śasya prakāśamānatāyogād iti pūrvakāṃḍaṃ dvitīyasiddhau ca vitatya vicāritaṃ ṣṭāpi jāvātmā avidyākṛtāvacheLdo niyataḥ satvaṃ sārī bhoktā brahmaiva cetanatvād bhāvato bhedānupapatter iti tatraivāveditaṃ anena ca pradhānakartṛka⸤rmarūpakārakaniścayena kārakāṃtarasyāpekṣaṇāt siddharūpo vivarttaḥ pratipāditaḥ
darśanaśabdena ca pradhānakri⸤yānirdeśakena kriyāṃtarasyāpekṣāt sādhyasvabhāvakriyāvivartto py uktaḥ kālaśaktyavachinnā hi kriyāvivartaḥ dik_⸤śaktyavachinnasya mūrtivivartta iti mūrttikriyāvivartarūpaṃ viśvaṃ pratipāditaṃ |
prayojanaśabdena ca saṃmatikriyā⸤phala iti nidarśa iti sādhyasādhanaphalarūpatayā viśvasaṃkalānāyām aśeṣavivartānuguṇyaṃ brahmaṇaḥ pratipā⸤ditaṃ ekasya sarvabījasya ceyam anekadhā bhoktṛbhoktavyarūpeṇa bhogarūpeṇa sthitir iti brahmakāṃḍe pratipāditaṃ ta⸤traiva va satatvanirṇayo smābhi vyavadhāyi prācyopākhyātmakatvāt_ ca vyavahārasya dvitve śabdārthasaṃbaṃdharūpaṃ tad dṛśyada⸤rśanaṃ ceti bhedenātra nirdeśaḥ etac cāvidyāmayaṃ rūpaṃ kathyate pāramārthikaṃ tu praśātakāśātaprapaṃcarūpaṃ vakṣyati ya⸤tra draṣṭā ca dṛśyaṃ va darśanaṃ cāvikalpitaṃ tasyaivārthasya satyatvaṃ śritās trayyaṃtavedina iti
yuktam idaṃ ākṛtisaṃhā⸤re ṃte yad avatiṣṭhate tat satyam iti tatraitat syād atre na kiṃcid avatiṣṭate asadam apadam evaitad viśvam āvirbhavatīty ā⸤śaṃkyāpi hetunābhinnakāraṇasarvakatvam anvayamukhena dṛṣṭāntomakramaṃ sādhayitum āha ||
| vikārāpagame satyaṃ sa⸤tyaṃ suvarṇaṃ kuṃḍale yathā
vikārāpagame saṃtyāṃ tathāhuḥ prakṛtipaṃrāṃ ||
kuṃḍalasvātmavikārāpāye dve kuṃḍale suvarṇaLm ekaṃ satyam avatiṣṭate yathā tathā pṛthivyādivikāravigame nvayinī prakṛtir abhinnā saty avatiṣṭata ity apeyaṃ ā⸤hur ity āgamapramāṇasiddhatāṃ dhvanati brahmaṇaḥ tathā coktaṃ ekam eva yad āmnātam iti ātmaivedaṃ satyam iti hi śrutiḥ upo⸤dbalamātraṃ cānumānaṃ tathā hi nirūpākhyād asato parāt prādurbhāvo na yuktaḥ abhāvasya bhāvarūpatvavirodhān na hi śa⸤śaśṛṃgāt kasyacid udbhavo dṛśyate | asti ca vijñānarūpatayā jagaty anvaya iti tatpūrvam evaivakṣyatat | tathā ca vati nābhāvo ⸤jāyate bhāvo naikabhāvo nupākhyatām iti lasya cidbhūyasya cichaktir apariṇāminīti vikārābhāvān nedaṃ sāṃkhyanaya⸤vatpariṇāmadarśanaṃ api tu vivarttapakṣaḥ viśeṣaś cānayo vokyapadīye smābhir vyākhyātam iti tata evāvadhāryaṃ ihāpi ⸤saṃbaṃdhasamudeśe vakṣyate kāraṇāṃtadravyadāsaś cādvayabhiddhau abhihita iti saty arthitve tata evāvagaṃtavyaḥ
tad evam ā⸤tmaśabdābhidheyasya brahmaṇaḥ padārthaparamārtharūpatvād adravyarūpatvam upapādya sarvaśabdavācyatvaṃ tasyaiva nigamami⸤tum āha ||_
| vidyā sā sarvaśabdānāṃ śabdāś ca na pṛthak_ tataḥ
apṛthaktve ca saṃbaṃdhas tayor nānātmanor iva |
ta⸤ttadupādhiparikalpitabhevadaba...hutayā vyavahārasyāpi vidyābhūyastve pratiniyatākāro sthāyamānarūpabhedaṃ bra⸤hmaiva sarvaśabdaviṣaya ity ukto rthaḥ ātmā brahma tatvam ity udaye pi hi śabdāḥ samavalaṃbitopādhayo thātmānam a⸤na parivartaṃte nihapādhito vāgviṣayātītatvād vā manasātītaṃ hi tatvam ity upadiśaṃti brahmavidaḥ yadi śabdāpekṣeLyā tv ātmādiśabdāḥ pratyāsannāḥ sarvasya va tanmayatvāchabdā api tadātmikāḥ yathāvibhaktaṃ prāk_ abhede pi va pā⸤ramārthikasaṃvato lokayātrāyāṃ bhedo satya itīvaśabdaḥ ata eva dviṣṭasaṃbaṃdhopapattiḥ
nanu cedraṃjālam idaṃ ya⸤d avavṛtarūpabhedānām api bhāvānām anāvṛtya tatvam avasīyamānāparamārthatopadeśanam ity āśaṃkya dṛṣṭāṃte⸤naitat sādhayitum āha ||
ātmā para priyo dveṣyo vaktā vācyaṃ prayojanaṃ |
viruddhāni yathaikasya sapne rūpāṇi veta⸤saḥ
atanmatti tathā nitye paurvāparyavivarjite |
tatve janmādirūpatvaṃ viruddham upalabhyate ||
|| svapnāvasthāgataḥ ⸤prapaṃco jāgarayā bādhyamānatvād asatya iti sarvavādyabhyupagamaḥ tenaiva dṛṣṭāṃtena jāgarāyām api bhāvabhe⸤das turāyadaśāyām ananuvṛtter asatyo vasthāpyate yat kitma sarvāvasthāsv anugataṃ tad eva satyaṃ tac ca saṃvinmā⸤traṃ rūpam abādhyamānaṃ avasthābhedas tv āgamāpāyitvād bādhitaḥ sat sukhaduḥkhādivat_ lathā hi rāgādayaḥ su⸤khādayaś cāsvabhāvatvāt saṃvinmātraṃ rūpaṃ na vikurvaṃti tathāvasthābhedo py anekākārabudhyopahataḥ
tatra svapnaṃ viruddha⸤kārollekho vaikalpikā dṛṣṭiḥ pratimātṛniyatā vaikalpikīti ko bhimāno vyāpārānusarī saṃsārī bhoktā sa ⸤ca bhāvatad acetanatvāt_ brahmaiva tathā ca tāvati svātaṃtryānimitāpāśvaro nanyopādānābhāvāt_ nābhāsyāya⸤t tu priyāpriyarūpatayā rāgadveyādimayena saṃsāramohena paravibhāgābhāgānusārī parasaṃkathādiṣu tadāhuḥ veLdāṃtatatvanipuṇāḥ pravibhajyātmanātmānaṃ sṛṣṭvā bhāvān_ pṛthagvidhān sarveśvaraḥ sarvamayaḥ svapne bhoktā pravartate iti ⸤bhokteti pratyagātmasṛṣṭir iyam uktā tasya ca sarveśvaratvāt_ brahmarūpatve sṛṣṭisāmarthyam uktaṃ sarvamayatvāc cāna⸤nyopādānavicitrabhāvasvanām ātmopājñānām āhuḥ ata eva pravibhajyātmanātmānam iti kartṛkarmabhedābhāvā⸤c ca vaikalpikatvam asya sṛṣṭeḥ sphuṭaktaṃ bāhyopādānā tu jāgarāyām aiśvarī sṛṣṭir viśvaśabdavācya sarvapramātṛsādhā⸤raṇā
sthiratvāsthiratvagrahāvedānimittas tu bhedaḥ avidyāpravṛttirūpatvāt_ punar asatyatā samānaiva kevalaṃ ⸤satyām avidyām aparo mohaś cichakter āvārako nidrā nāma tadvaśād atraiva matatvābhimāne rvāgdṛśāṃ paramārthadṛśāṃ ⸤tuṃ jananamaraṇarahitaiḥ pravibhakte kūṭasthe parasmin brahmaṇi cidānaṃdarūpe sarvam eva jagaj jāgratsvapnādyava⸤sthāgaṃta mūrttikriyāvivartarūpaṃ sa sṛtsapram anvayicitsāmānyamātraṃ tu paramārtha iti siddhaṃ viruddham apala⸤bhyata iti vadann avidyāyāṃ virodham abhyupaiti etad eva hy avidyāyāḥ svarūpaṃ yad anupapadyamānam apy āsopagamaṃ nayati ⸤upapannacce vidyaiva styāt_ tasmād asatyaprapaṃcaprakāśanaśaktir brahmaṇo nādisiddhā grāhyagrāhakayugalasvānurū⸤pam uparacayā jagalādyam ātanotīty avicāritaramaṇāyām imām apanayaṃti tatvadṛśaḥ ||_
iti bhūtirājatanaya⸤helārājakṛte prakārṇaprakāśe dravyasamuddeśo dvitīyaḥ ||_ || śubhaṃ
