This transcription is based on a black and white facsimile of the manuscript held in Delhi University Library. Due to the poor quality of the facsimile, some readings remain unclear. The facsimile begins on the recto side of the second folio, near the beginning of the Jātisamuddeśa until the end of the Kriyāsamuddeśa on folio 341. This manuscript seems to be based on at least two archetypes. Many corrections have been made — possibly by a different hand — which transmit readings which are common to manuscripts M and P, whereas the ante correctionem readings are preserved in manuscript L. These corrections have, in turn, been transmitted to manuscripts K and V, which seem to be based on D. In addition, some avagrahas have been added in the interlinear space to clarify certain negative words and compounds. The corrections are thoughtful and learned, and show an active engagement with the text.

|| vaikārikasarvavyavahārā_tītatvāt pāramārthikena rūpeṇa vikārātmakaṃ tatvaṃ na bhavati| ta⸤thā hi| astīti na śakyate vyavaharttuṃ satvopādhikasya svarūpasya tatvasya bhāvayogāt tenātmanā vyavahārānavatā⸤rāt | nāpi nāstī|ty abhāvopādhikasyāpy atathātvā5t pramāṇena bhāvātmakasya tattvasyāveditatvā|d
ekasaṃkhyopādhīyamānasvarūpam aviśeṣaṃsaṃkhyopā⸤dhīyamānarūpaviśeṣaṃ 5 tatvaṃ na bhati| nirupādhitaḥ tatvasya vastuto bhinnatvāt tathā caikam ity apratīteḥ| nā⸤pi pṛthaktvāhitaviśeṣaṃ| tadbhinnasyāsatvāt_|
nāpi saṃsargopādhikaṃ| vibhāgopādhikaṃ vā| tato dvitīyasya pra⸤māṇenānupapatteḥ| kuto bhinnaṃ vibhaktaṃ ca kena vā saṃsṛṣṭaṃ syāt
pariṇāmaniṣedhena vivarttābhyupagamān na vikṛ⸤taṃ anekabhāvagrāmarūpatayā cādbhutayā vṛttyā vivartanād avikṛtam ity api na śakyate vyavahartum iti sarvavyapaLdeśātītatvaṃ paraṃ brahma|
atha ca tadātmaivāvidyāyām avadhāryata ity āha ||
|| tan nāsti vidyate tac ca tad ekaṃ tat pṛthak_ ⸤pṛthak |
saṃsṛṣṭaṃ ca vibhaktaṃ ca vikṛtaṃ tat tad anyathā ||13
|| bhāvābhāvavikārāvabhāsajanana2śakti tad evāsti ca sa⸤ttāsattopādhikavyavahāramahāram ahaṃbhāvas tu niḥsattāsattaṃ niḥsadasat paraṃ brahma vyaāvahārikaṃ caikāne⸤kavyavahāraṃ jātivyaktyātmanā tad eva vartayati saṃkhyopādhikam api ca| evaṃ saṃyogopādhikam api anya⸤saṃsargitayāvabhāsanāt_| evaṃ vivekāvasāyas tatra| tathā samastavikārātmanā janyamānam ivākāśādyā⸤tmanā kūṭasthata4yā tad evāvabhāsa iti tadātmaiva tatvam ity uktaṃ|
evaṃ ca kṛtvā sarvasya tanmayatvād virodhino pi ⸤vyavahārās tatraivopalīyaṃta ity āha ||
|| tasya śabdārthasaṃbaṃdharūpam ekasya dṛśyate|
tad dṛśyaṃ darśanaṃ draṣṭā darśa⸤ne ca prayojanaṃ ||14
|| vācyavācakasaṃbaṃdhānā bhāvato dvayarūpatā| tatra hy āṃtare tatvaśrutyarthaśaktī saṃsṛjyete iti ⸤vivartadaśāyāṃ śrutyarthaśākhātmanā tasyaiva vikāsād vācyavācakarūpatayā bhedāvabhāsau jñānajñeyaivāviLdyeti brahmakāṃḍa eva prapaṃcenā1yam artho smābhir nirṇīta iti tata1 evāvadhāryaṃ |
dṛśyarūpatayā ca tasyaiva vivartaḥ | ⸤tathā hi| dṛśyaṃ tāvad bhāvajātaṃ saṃvidupārūṭaṃ vedyamānaṃ vedyatvād eva vedam anekam aparārthaprakāśasya prakāśa⸤mānatāyogād iti pūrvakāṃḍe dvitīyasiddhau ca vitatya vicāritaṃ| draṣṭāpi jīvātmā avidyākṛtāvachedo ⸤niyataḥ satvaṃ sārī bhoktā brahmaiva cetanatvād bhāvato bhedānupapatter iti tatraivāveditaṃ| anena ca pradhānaka⸤rtṛkarmarūpakārakaniścayena kārakāṃtarasyāpekṣaṇāt siddharūpo vivarttaḥ pratipāditaḥ |
darśanaśabdena ca pradhā⸤nakriyānirdeśakena kriyāṃtarasyāpekṣāt sādhyasvabhāvakriyāvivarto py uktaḥ| kālaśaktyavachinnā hi kriyā⸤vivartaḥ| dik_śaktyavachinnasya mūrttivivartta iti mūrttikriyāvivartarūpaṃ viśvaṃ pratipāditaṃ |
prayojanaśabdena ca ⸤saṃmatikriyāphala iti nidarśa iti sādhyasādhanaphalarūpatayā viśvasaṃkalānāyām aśeṣavivartānuguṇyaṃ ⸤brahmaṇaḥ pratipāditaṃ| ekasya sarvabījasya ceyam anekadhā bhoktṛbhoktavyarūpeṇa bhogarūpeṇa sthitir iti brahmaLkāṃḍe pratipāditaṃ tatraiva ca satatvanirṇayo smābhi vyavadhāyi prācyopākhyātmakatvāt_ ca vyavahārasya dvitve ⸤śabdārthasaṃbaṃdharūpaṃ tad dṛśyadarśanaṃ ceti bhedenātra nirdeśaḥ etac cāvidyāmayaṃ rūpaṃ kathyate pāramārthikaṃ tu pra⸤kāśītaprapaṃcarūpaṃ vakṣyati| yatra draṣṭā ca......... dṛśyaṃ ca darśanaṃ cāvikalpitaṃ| tasyaivārthasya satyatvaṃ śritā⸤s trayyaṃtavedina iti
yuktam idaṃ ākṛtisaṃhāre ṃte yad avatiṣṭhate tat satyam iti tatraitat syād ante na kiṃcid ava⸤tiṣṭhate asadam apadam evaitad viśvam āvirbhavatīty āśaṃkyāpi hetunā'bhinnakāraṇapūrvakatvam anvayamukhe⸤na dṛṣṭāntopakramaṃ sādhayitum āha ||
|| vikārāpagamaṃ satyaṃ suvarṇaṃ kuṃḍale yathā |
vikārāpagame satyāṃ ta⸤thāhuḥ prakṛtiṃ parāṃ ||15
|| kuṃḍalasvātmakavikārāpāye dve kuṃḍale suvarṇam ekaṃ satyam avatiṣṭhate yathā ta⸤thā pṛthivyādivikāravigame nvayinī prakṛtir abhinnā saty avatiṣṭhata ity upeyaṃ| āhur iti āgamapramāṇasi⸤ddhatāṃ dhvanati brahmaṇaḥ| tathā coktaṃ ekam eva yad āmnātam iti ātmaivedaṃ satyam iti hi śrutiḥ| upodbalamātraṃ cāLnumānaṃ tathā hi nirūpākhyād asato parāt prādurbhāvo na yuktaḥ abhāvasya bhāvarūpatvavirodhā|n na hi śaśa⸤śṛṃgāt kasyacid udbhavo dṛśyate| asti ca vijñānarūpatayā jagaty anvaya iti tatpūrvam evaivatat | tathā ca vakṣya...⸤ti | nābhāvo jāyate bhāvo naikabhāvo nupākhyatām iti | tasya cidrūpasya cichaktir apariṇāminīti vikā⸤rābhāvān nedaṃ sāṃkhyanayavatpariṇāmadarśanaṃ api tu vivarttapakṣaḥ | viśeṣaś cānayor vākyapadīye smābhi⸤r vyākhyātam iti tata evāva_dhāryaṃ| ihāpi saṃbaṃdhasamuddeśe vakṣyate| kāraṇāṃtaravyudāsaś cādvayasiddhau a⸤bhihita iti saty arthitve tata evāvagaṃtavyaḥ |
tad evam ātmaśabdābhidheyasya brahmaṇaḥ padārthaparamārtharūpatvād_ ⸤dravyarūpatvam upapādya sarvaśabdavācyatvaṃ tasyaiva nigamayitum āha ||
|| vidyā sā sarvaśabdānāṃ śabdāś ca na pṛ⸤thak_ tataḥ |
apṛthaktve ca .......saṃbaṃdhas tayor nānātmanor iva ||16
tattadupādhiparikalpitabhedabahutayā vyava⸤hārasyāpi vidyābhūyastve pratiniyatākāro sthīyamānarūpabhedaṃ brahmaiva sarvaśabdaviṣaya ity ukto rtha āLtmā brahma tatvam ity udaye pi hi śabdāḥ samavalaṃbitopādhayo | hi śabdāḥ samavalaṃbitopādhayo py ā⸤tmānam anu parivartaṃte nirupādhito vāgviṣayātītatvād vā manasātītaṃ hi tatvam ity upadiśaṃti brahmavi⸤daḥ kyayadi śabdāpekṣayā tv ātmādiśabdāḥ pratyāsannāḥ sarvasya ca tanmayatvāchabdā api tadātmikāḥ| yathā⸤vibhaktaṃ prāk_ abhede pi ca pāramārthikasaṃvṛto lokayātrāyāṃ bhedo satya itīvaśabdaḥ| ata eva dviṣṭha⸤saṃbaṃdhopapattiḥ|
nanu ceṃdrajālam idaṃ yad avavṛtarūpabhedānām api bhāvānām anāvṛtya tatvam avasīyamā⸤nāparamārthatopadeśanam ity āśaṃkya dṛṣṭāṃtenaitat sādhayitum āha ||
ātmā paraḥ priyo dveṣyo vaktā vācyaṃ pra⸤yojanaṃ |
viruddhāni yathaikasya svapne rūpāṇi cetasaḥ |17
ajanmani tathā nitye paurvāparyavivarjite |
tatve janmādi⸤rūpatvaṃ viruddham upalabhyate ||18
|| svapnāvasthāgataḥ prapaṃco jāgarayā bādhyamānatvād asatya iti sarvavādyabhyu⸤pagamaḥ | tenaiva dṛṣṭāṃtena jāgarāyām api bhāvabhedas turīyadaśāyām ananuvṛtter asatyo vasthāpyate yat kila Lsarvāvasthāsv anugataṃ tad eva satyaṃ tac ca saṃvinmātraṃ rūpam abādhyamānaṃ avasthābhedas tv āgamāpāyitvād bādhitaḥ ⸤sat sukhaduḥkhādivat | tathā hi| rāgādayaḥ sukhādayaś cāsvabhāvatvāt saṃvinmātraṃ rūpaṃ na vikurvaṃti| tathāva⸤sthābhedo py anekākārabuddhyo3.......pahataḥ|
tatra svapne viruddhakārollekho vaikalpikī dṛṣṭiḥ pratipramātṛniyatā ⸤vaikalpikīti ko bhimāno vyāpārānusarī saṃsārī bhoktā sa ca bhāvatad acetanatvāt_ brahmaiva tathā ca tāva⸤ti svātaṃtryānimitāpīśvaro nanyopādānābhāvāt_ nābhāsyāyat tu priyāpriyarūpatayā rāgadveṣādimaye⸤na saṃsāramohena paravibhāgābhāgānusārī parasaṃkathādiṣu| tadāhuḥ vedāṃtatatvanipuṇāḥ| pravibhajyā⸤tmanātmānaṃ sṛṣṭvā bhāvān_ pṛthagvidhān__| sarveśvaraḥ sarvamayaḥ svapne bhoktā pravartate iti| bhokteti pratyagātmasṛ⸤ṣṭir iyam uktā| tasya ca sarveśvaratvāt_ brahmarūpatve sṛṣṭisāmarthyam uktaṃ| sarvamayatvāc cānanyopādānavicitra⸤bhāvasvanām ātmopājñānām āhuḥ | ata eva pravibhajyātmanātmānam iti kartṛkarmabhedābhāvāc ca vaikalpikaLtvam asya sṛṣṭeḥ sphuṭam uktaṃ| bāhyopādānā tu jāgarāyām aiśvarī sṛṣṭir viśvaśabdavācyaā sarvapramātṛsādhāraṇī |
⸤sthiratvāsthiratvagrahāvedānimittas tu bhedaḥ avidyāpravṛttirūpatvāt_ punar asatyatā samānaiva kevalaṃ satyā⸤m avidyām aparo mohaś cichakter āvārako nidrā nāma tadvaśād atraiva matatvābhimāne rvāgdṛśāṃ| paramārthadṛ⸤śāṃ tu jananamaraṇarahitaiḥ pravibhakte kūṭasthe parasmin brahmaṇi cidānaṃdarūpe sarvam eva jagaj jāgratsvapnādya⸤vasthāgataṃ mūrttikriyāvivartarūpaṃ sa sṛtsapram anvayicitsāmānyamātraṃ tu paramārtha iti siddhaṃ viruddham upa⸤labhyata iti vadann avidyāyāṃ virodham abhyupaiti| etad eva hy avidyāyāḥ svarūpaṃ yad anupapadyamānam apy āsopaga⸤maṃ nayati upapannacce vidyaiva syāt| tasmād asatyaprapaṃcaprakāśanaśaktir brahmaṇo nādisiddhā grāhyagrā⸤hakayugalasvānurūpam uparacayā jagannāṭyam ātanotīty avicāritaramaṇīyām imām apanayaṃti tatvadṛ⸤śaḥ ||
