vidhivividhānaṃ || || tad yasminn adhyāye vidyate | taṃ vyākhyāsyāmaḥ || agnikarmī

punas tridoṣaghnachedyabhedyalekhyakaraṇādiṣu kṣāra

dṛḍhaprahāritvenārjunāt karṇaḥ karṇād dūrāpātitvenārjunaḥ pradhānam iti ||

rbudādayo 'gninā samūlam unmūlitā mithyāhārādibhiḥ ||
punardoṣaprakopāt tat sthāna evā
nye jāyamānās tadvad upālabhyaṃte ||

tikaraṇaṃ pluṣṭadurddagdhabhyāṃ bhedābhyāṃ hīnadagdhasya tripakāradāhaśaṃkānirāsārthaṃ

atyarthaṃ datpratyate || na sphoṭotpattiḥ syāt || anye tu || atra pluṣṭam

varṇaṃ yat pluṣyāt iti paṭhaṃti vyākhyānayaṃti || atimātraṃ
vivarṇaṃ yat pluṣyata iti || agnitāpeno

tīva || rāgo raktatā
vedanā tuṣādayaḥ ||
pakvatālavarṇam ity eke paṭhaṃti || apare tu tālapakvaphalavarṇaṃ ||

tādidoṣavarjitaṃ || pūrvalakṣaṇayuktaṃ ceti ||
tvaṅmāṃsasirāsnāyusaṃdhyasthidāhaliṃgayuktaṃ ||
viṣaṭanaṃ || vyāpādanaṃ hiṃsanaṃ || atimātraśabdo jvarādibhiḥ

prakṛtyā ca vidahyata iti || prakṛtyā svabhāvena vidahyate vidāham upayāti || tābhyām
eva raktapittābhyāṃ sphoṭā jvarādayaś ca || śīghraṃ prajāyaṃta iti || anye ubhe i
ty atra raktapitte iti vyākhyānayaṃti || uṣṇavīryatvaṃ ca | madhurarasasyāpi
raktapittasya yāṃtrikekṣura
savid vidāhitvāt || dravyata iti || ete dve api

tad yathā || taktapittayor dvayor api tejo hetu || ādhāraś ca dvayor api teja eveti

pratapanaṃ svedanaṃ || uṣṇam auṣadham iti || ālepanānnapānādikaṃ ||
ṣṭhe atyarthaṃ svinne || svalpam api raktaṃ yadi asvinnaṃ bhavati

duḥkham utpādayatīti darśayann āha

styānena raktena ca || ruddhamārgo vāyur ūṣmāpy anirgachan pluṣṭe śūlaśopharāgādikāṃ
vedanāṃ karoti ||
ataḥ śītā kriyā na sukhaṃ karoti || uṣṇakriyā punā
raktavilāyanakarī bhavati || ataḥ rūṣmaniḥ
saraṇavātānulomahetuḥ sā
atisukhayati ||
ḍhamūladagdhabhāgasya svinnaraktasya nirvāpaṇārthaṃ śitāṃ
kriyāṃ kuryāt || anavagāḍhamūladagdhabhā
m iti || punaḥ kiṃ kuryād ity āha ||
ghṛtālepanāidīn śītān eva kārayed iti || evaṃ sukhībhavati || vraṇa
