Restructuring of the Uttaratantra xml files. The xml files are now divided according to the internal naming of the sections, Śālākyatantra (adhyāyas 1-26), Kumāratantra (27-38), Kāyacikitsātantra (39-59), Bhūtavidyātantra (60-62), Tantrabhūṣaṇādhyāya (63-66). More restructuring of the Uttaratantra xml files in line with the manuscript colophons and verse SS.SS.6.66.17ii. The final ten xml files are now brought together as a single group, combining the last 3 adhyāyas of the vulgate's Kāyacikitsātantra and all of the vulgate's Bhūtavidyātantra (60-62) and Tantrabhūṣaṇādhyāya (63-66). athāto yonivyāpatpratiṣedhaṃ vyā vyākhyāsyāmaḥ || paraḥ sukhārthaḥ pramadā supuṃsāṃ yasmād ato yonigatāṃ vikārāṃ | yatnena vaidyaḥ samupakrameta yasmāt sukhārthan tadadhīna eva | yoniḥ praduṣṭā grasate na śukraṃ garbhan na gṛhṇāti tataś ca nārī | arśāṃsi gulmaṃ pravaraṃ prabhūtāṃ prāpnoti rogāṃ vividhāṃs tathānyāṃ | mithyopacārāt suratakriyāyā daivāt tathā cārttavabījadoṣāt | doṣāḥ praduṣṭāḥ pavanādayas tu yonyāṃ vicitrāṃ janayanti rogāṃ | te viṃśatir bheṣajahetucihnair ihopadiṣṭāḥ pṛthag ekaśaś ca | udāvarttā vandhyasañjñā plutā ca pariplutā vātalā ceti vātāt || raktakṣayā vāminī sraṃsanī ca putraghny atho pittalā caiva pittāt | atyānando karṇṇir na dve caraṇyau bhaved anyā śleṣmalā śleṣmaṇā ca | śaṇḍhy aṇḍinī mahatī sūcīvaktrā sarvātmikā sarvadoṣās tathānyā || saphenilam udāvarttā rajaḥ kṛcchreṇa muñcati | vandhyām anārttavāṃ vidyād utplutāṃ nityavedanāṃ | pariplutāyāṃ bhavati grāmyadharmarucir bhṛśaṃ | vātalā karkaśā stabdhā śūlanistodapīḍitā | catasṛṣv api cādyāsu bhavanty anilavedanā | sadāhaṃ kṣīyate raktaṃ yasyā sā lohitakṣayā | srutāv apy udgired bījaṃ vāminī rajasā plutā | prasraṃsanīṃ sraṃsate kṣobhitā duḥprajāyinīṃ | sthitaṃ sthitaṃ hanti garbhaṃ putraghnī raktavisravaiḥ | atyathapittalā yonir dāhapākasamanvitāḥ | catasṛṣv iapi cādyāsu pittaliṃgāni yojayet | atyānandād asantoṣād grāmyadharme dhigacchati | karṇṇinyāṃ karṇṇikā yonau śleṣmā sṛgbhyāṃ tu jāyate | maithune caraṇī pūrvā puruṣāt sātiricyate | bahuśaś cāticaraṇāt tato bījaṃ na tiṣṭhati | śleṣmalā picchilā yoniḥ kaṇḍūgrastātiśītalā | catasṛṣv api cādyāsu kaphaliṃgāni yojayet | naṣṭārttavastanaḥ ṣaṇḍhyā kharasparśā ca maithune || atikāyagṛhītāyās taruṇyā aṇḍanī bhavet | vivṛtā tu mahāyoniḥ sūcīvaktrātisaṃvṛtā | sarvaliṅgasamutthānāṃ sarvadoṣasamanvitā | catasṛṣv api cādyāsu sarvaliṃgāni darśanaṃ | pañcāsādhyā bhavantīmā vyādhayaḥ sarvadoṣajāḥ | pratidoṣaṃ tu sādhyāsu snehādikrama iṣyate | dadyād uttarabastīś ca viṣeṇa yatheritaṃ | karkaśāṃ śītalāṃ stabdhām alpasparśān tathaiva ca | kumbhīsvedair yojayīta sānūpodakasaṃyutaiḥ | madhurauṣadhasaṃyuktāṃ veśavārāṃś ca yoniṣu | nikṣiped dhārayeyuś ca balātailam alaṃ śanaiḥ | dhāvanāni ca pathyāni kurvīta vamanāni ca | ūṣācoṣānviteṣūktaṃ kuryāc chītavidhiṃ bhiṣak | durgandhāṃ picchilām vāpi cūrṇṇaiḥ pañcakaṣāyajaiḥ | pūrayed rājavṛkṣādikaṣāyañ cātra śodhanaṃ | yonikrimiprabandhān tu śodhanadravyasaṃyutaiḥ || sagomūtraiḥ salavaṇaiḥ kalkair āpūrayec chanaiḥ | bṛhatīphalakalkair vā tadambupariśodhitā | sakaṇḍūrān tu nisparśāṃ pūrayed dhūpayec ca tāṃ | karṇṇinyāṃ vartt i a yo deyāḥ śodhanadrasaṃyutāḥ | prasraṃsinīṃ ghṛtābhyaktāṃ kṣīraṃ svinnā praveśayet | pidhāya veśavāraiś ca tato bandhaṃ samācaret | pratidoṣaṃ nidadhyāc ca surāriṣṭasamāṃ bhiṣak | kṣīramāṃsarasaprāyam āhāraṃ vidadhīta ca | śukrārttavastanyadoṣā rasadoṣāś ca kīrttitāḥ | klaibyasthānāni mūḍhasya garbhasya vidhir eva ca | garbhiṇīṃ prati rogeṣu cikitsā cāpy udīritā |anuprajāta rogāṃś ca cikitsed uttarāṃ bhiṣag iti ||kāyaci kāyacikitsā || 23 ||
athāto mānuṣapratiṣedhaṃ vyāsyāmaḥ || yathovāca bhagavān dhanvantariḥ śruṇu vatsa suśruta || niśācarebhyo rakṣyas tu nityam eva kṣatāturaḥ | iti yat prāgabhihitaṃ vistarat tasya vakṣyate || grahāṇyaṃ gativijñānamanavasthāsahiṣṇutā | kriyā ś cāmānuṣī yasmi sagrahaḥ parikīrttitaāḥ || aśucibhinnamayādakṣata taṃ | hiṃsyur hiṃsāvihārārthaṃ satkārārtham athāpi vā | asaṃkhyeyāṃ grahāṇyas ttu grahādhipatayas tu ye || vyañjānte vividhākārā bhidyante te tathāṣṭadhā | devās ca devārigaṇyas tathaiva gandharvayakṣāḥ pitaro bhujaṅgāḥ | rakṣāṃsi yā cāpi piśācatireṣoṣṭako devagaṇyai grahaukhyaḥ | saṃtuṣṭaḥ sucira vina ṣṭagandhamālyau nistandrīr avitathasaṃskṛbhilāpī | tejasvī sthitanayano varapradātā brahmaṇyau bhavati ca rudradevajuṣṭaḥ || saṃsvedī dvijagurudevadoṣavaktā jihmākṣo vigatabhayo vimārgadṛṣṭiḥ | saṃtuṣṭo bhavati na cānnapānahātairdraṣṭātmā bhavati ca devaśatrujuṣṭaḥ || hṛṣṭātmā pulinavanāntaropasevī svācāraḥ parigatagandhamālyapaḥ | nṛttādyaiḥ prahasati cāru cālpaśabdaṃ gandharvagrahaparipīḍito manuṣyaḥ || tāmrākṣaḥ priyatanuraktavastradhārī gambhīro drutagatiralpavāk sahiṣṇuḥ || tejasvī vadati ca kim dami kasmai yo yakṣagrahaparipīḍito manuṣyaḥ || pretānāṃ nipatati saṃstareṣu piṇḍāṃ śāntātmā jalam api cāpasavyahastaḥ | māṃsepsustilakṛtapāyasābhikāmastadbhakṣo bhavati pitṛgrahābhijuṣṭaḥ || yastūrvyā prasarati sarpavat kadācit sṛkvaṇyau vilihati jihvayā tathaiva || krordhārttoguḍamadhudugdhapāyasepsurvijñeyo bhavati bhujaṅgamagra hārttaḥ || māṃsāsṛgvividhasurāvikāralipsurnirlajjo bhṛśamatiniṣṭhuro tiśūraḥ | krodhārtto vipulabalo niśāvihārī | śaucadviḍ bhavati sa rakṣasā gṛhītaḥ | udhdhastaḥ kṛśaparuṣaś cirapralāpī durgandho bhṛśamaśucistathātilolaḥ | bahvāśī vijanahimāṃburātrisevī vyācaṣṭaṃ bhramati rudan piśācajuṣṭaḥ || sthūlākṣo drutagamanaḥ saphenalehī niṣceṣṭaḥ patati ca vepatethayāti | yaś cādridviradanagādivicyutaḥ saṃ saṃhṛṣṭo bhavati sahagrahābhijuṣṭaḥ || devagrahāḥ paurṇṇāmāsyāmāsurāḥ sandhyayor api | gandhayāḥ prāyaśoṣṭamyāṃ yakṣāś ca pratipatha | kṛṣṇakṣaye ca pitaraḥ pacamyām api coragāḥ | rakṣāṃsi rātrau paiśācāś carturdaśyāṃ viśaṃti hi || darpaṇyadīn yathā cchāyā śītoṣṇaṃ prāṇino yathā | mayo bhāskarārcīṃṣi tathā dehaṃ ca dehadhṛk | viśanti na ca dṛśyante grahāstadvaccharīriṇam || tapāṃsi tīvrāṇi tathaiva dānaṃ vrani dharmo niyataś ca satyaṃ | grahāstathāṣṭāvapi teṣu nityaṃ vyastāḥ samastāś ca yathāprabhāvaṃ | na te manuṣyaiḥ saha saṃviśanti na vā manuṣyāṃ kvacidāviśanti | ye tvāviśantīti vadanti mmūḑhās te bhūtasargād viṣaāyādvyapoḍhā | teṣāṃ grahāṇāṃ paricārakā ye koṭīsahasrāyutapadmasaṃkhyāḥ | asṛgvasāmāṃsabhujaḥ subhīmā niśācarāś cāpi tamāviśanti | niśācarāṇānteṣāṃ hi ye devagaṇasarśritāḥ | te tu tat satvasaṃsargāsmaddhruttās tu tadañjanāḥ | devagrahā iti khyātāḥ procyante śucayas tu te | devavac ca namasyante pravarttante ca devavat | svāmiśīlapriyācārāḥ krama eṣa surādiṣu | nirṛteryā duhitarastāsāṃ sa prabhavaḥ smṛtaḥ || sanyāso satpravṛtteṣu vṛttiteṣāṃ gaṇaiḥ kṛtāḥ | hiṃsāvihārā ye keciddivyam bhāvānapāśritāḥ | bhūtānīti kṛtā saṃjña teṣāṃ bhūtapravaktṛbhiḥ | grahasañjñāni bhūtāni tasmād budhyaitayo bhiṣak || vidyayā bhūtavaidyatvamatan tvevaṃ nirucyate | teāṣāṃ śāntyathamanvicchan vaidyas tu susamāhitaḥ | japyaiḥ saniyamaidhīmān ārabheta kicitsituṃ | raktāni gandhamālyāni bījāni madhusarpiṣī | bhakṣyāś ca sarve sarveṣāṃ sāmānyo vidhirucyate || vastrāṇi madyamāṃsāni kṣīrāṇi rudhirāṇi ca | yāni yeṣāṃ yatheṣṭāni tāni teṣāṃ pradāpayet | hiṃsanti manujāṃ yeṣu prāyaśo divaseṣu tu | devagrahe devagṛhe hutvāgniṃ prāpayed baliṃ || kuśasvastikapūpājyacchatrapāyasasaṃyutaṃ | āsure tu yathākālaṃ vidadhyāc catvarādiṣu | gandharvasya gavāṃ mārge maṃdyamāṃsāṃ bujākulaṃ | hṛdye veśmani yakṣasya kulmāṣāsṛksurādibhiḥ | atimuktakacampādyaiḥ puṣpaiś ca vitared baliṃ | catuṣpathai rākṣasasya bhīmeṣu gahaneṣu vā | śūnyālaye piśācasya cītraṃ balim upāharet | na śakyā balinā yetu yogaistā samupācaret | janvṛkṣacarmaromāṇi śalyakālasunan tathā | hiṃgu mūtrañ ca bastasya dhūpamasmai pradāpayet | etena śāmyati kṣipraṃ balavānapi yo grahaḥ | gahvāpippalīmūlaṃ vyoṣāmalakasarṣapān | godhānakulamārjāraruṣapittaprapeṣimān| nasyābhyañjanasekeṣu vidadhyād yogatatvavit || nadyāṃ pitṛgrahāyaṣṭaṃ kuśāsuraṇa bhūṣitaṃ | trenraivopaharec cāpi nāgāya vividhād baliṃ ||| svarāśvāśvatarokakarabhaśvaśṛgālajaṃ | purīśaṃ kaṃkagṛdhrābhyāṃ varāhasya ca ṣayet | bastamūtreṇa tatsiddhaiṃ tailaṃ syāt pūrvavaddhitaṃ | śirīṣapuṣpa laśuna śuṇṭhī siddhārthakaṃ vacāṃ | mañjiṣṭhāṃ rajanī kṛṣṇāṃ bastamūtreṇa pīṣayet | vartyaś chāyāviśuṣkāstāḥ sapittāt nayanāṃjanaṃ | naktamālaphalaṃ vyoṣaṃ mūlaṃ śyonākabilvayoḥ haridre ca kṛtā vartyaḥ pūrvavannayanañjane | vacām api | bastamūtreṇa piṣṭanna matsyapittena pūrvavat | pūrāṇasarpirlaśunaṃ hiṃgu siddhāthakaṃ vacā | golomī cājalomī ca bhūtakeśī jaṭī tathā | kukkuṭī sarpagandhā ca tiktālāvū viāṣāṇike| vajraproktā vayasthā ca śṛṅgī mohanavalyapi || arkamūlaṃ trikaṭu |kaṃ tāla sroto jamañjanaṃ | naipālī haritālañ ca ra | mārjāradvīpavājigajās tathā | śvāvidchālyakagodhānāṃ tathaiva nakuloṣṭrayauḥ | vidadhītavasāmūtraṃ rattapittanakhatvacaḥ | asmin varge bhiṣak kuyāt tailāni ca ghṛtāni ca | pānābhyañjananasyeṣu tāni yojyāni jānatā | avapīḍeñjane caiva vidadhyād guḍikākṛtāṃ | vidadhīta parīṣeke kvathitaṃ cūrṇitaṃ tathā | uddhūpane ślaṣṭaṃ pradehe cāvacārayet | eṣa sarvavikārāṃs tu mānasānavicāritaḥ | hanyādalpaina kālena snehādirapi ca kramaḥ | na cācaukṣaṃ prayuñjīta prayogaṃ devatāgrahe | ṛte paiṣācamanyeṣāmanukūlaṃ samācaret | vaidyāturau nihanyuste dhruvaṃ kruddhā mahaujasaḥ | hitāhitavidhānañ ca nityam eva samācared iti || kāyaci || ||
athāto pasmārapratiṣedhaṃ vyāṃ || smaraṇan na bhavaty asminn āpac ca parivarjayet | apasmāra iti proktas tato yaṃ vyādhir antakṛt | hṛtkampaḥ śūnyatā svedo dhyānaṃ mūrcchā pramūḍhatā | nidrānāśaś ca tasmiṃs ca bhaviṣyati bhavanty atha | saṃjñāvaheṣu srotaḥsu doṣavyāpteṣu mānavaḥ | dantāṃ khādaṃ vaman phenaṃ vivṛtākṣaḥ patat kṣitau | so pasmāra iti khyātaḥ sa ca dṛṣṭaś caturvidhaḥ | yo brūyād vikṛtaṃ satvaṃ kṛṣṇaṃ māmanudhāvati | tato me cittanāśaḥ syāt sopasmāro nilātmakaḥ | yo brūyād vikṛtaṃ satvaṃ pītaṃ māmanudhāvati | tato me cittanāśaḥ syāt sa pittabhava ucyate | yo brūyād vikṛtaṃ satvaṃ śuklaṃ māmanudhāvati | tato me cittanāśaḥ syāt sopasmāraḥ kaphātmakaḥ || hṛdi todastṛkledastriṣvapyeteṣu saṃkhyayā | pralāpaḥ kūjanaṃ krodhaḥ pratyekañ ca bhavanti hi | sarvaliṃgasamavāpaḥ sarvadoṣaprakopaje | animittāgamād vyādher gamanād asṛhād api | āgamāccāpy apasmāraṃ vadantyanyo nya dūṣaṇaṃ | kramopayogād doṣāṇyaṃ kṣaṇikatvāt tathaiva ca | āgamād vaiśvapyāc ca sa tu nirvalyate budhaiḥ | deve varṣaty api yathā bhūmauni kānicit | śaradi pratirohanti tathā vyādhisamucchrayaḥ | sthāyinaḥ kecidalpena kālenābhivivadhitāḥ | darśayanti vikārāṃstu viśvāṃ kramanisargataḥ | apasmāro mahāvyādhistasmād doṣaja eva tu | tasya kāyo vidhiḥ sarvā unmādeṣu pravakṣyate | purāṇasarpiṣa pānamabhyaṅge caiva pūjitaṃ | upayogo grahoktānāṃ yogā vāpy aśeṣataḥ | bhis rukaṭvaṅgakiṇihīnimbatvagrasasādhitaṃ | caturguṇe gavāṃ mūtre tailamabhyañjane hitaṃ | godhāṇakulanāgānāṃ vṛṣabharkṣagavān api | pitteṣu tailaṃ siddhāñ ca nasyebhyaṅge ca pūjitaṃ | tīkṣṇair ubhayatobhāgaiḥ śirasaś ca virecanaiḥ | kulatthayavakolāni śarabījaṃ palaṃkaśā | jaṭilāṃ pañcamūle dve pathyāni kvāthyayogataḥ | bastamūtrayutaṃ sarpiḥ pacet tat paittike hitaṃ || vātikaṃ bastibhiś cāpi paittikañ ca virecanaiḥ | kaphajam vamanaidhīmānapasmāramupācaret | bhārgīsiddhe pacet kṣīre śālitaḍulapāyasaṃ | tryahaṃ kṣaudrayutaṃ bhoktuṃ varāhāyopakalpayet | jñātvā ca madhurībhrūtaṃ taṃ viśasyānnamuddharet | trīn bhāgāṃ tasya hiṇvasya cūrbhāgena saṃsṛjet maṇḍodakāthe deyaś ca bhārgīkvātha suśītalaḥ śuddhe kumbhe nidadhyāc ca saṃbhāra taṃ surāt tataḥ | jātagandhāṃ jātarasāṃ pāyayed āsavaṃ bhiṣak | sirāñ ca vyadhayet prāptāṃ maṃgalyaṃ cāpi dhārayed iti || kāyacikitsā || ||
athātonmādapratiṣedhaṃ vyā kyāsyāmaḥ || madayanty uddhatā doṣā yasmād unmārgam āśritāḥ | mānaso yamato vyādhirunmāda iti kīrtyate | ekaikaśaḥ sarvaśaś ca dośairatyathamucchritaiḥ | mānasena ca duḥkhena pañcamaś ca sa ucyate | viṣādbhavati ṣaṣṭhaś ca yathāsvaṃ tasya bheṣajaṃ | sa tu pravṛddhastaruṇo madasaṃjñāṃ bibhartti ha | mohodvegaḥ svanaḥ śrotre gātrāṇyamapakarṣaṇaṃ | atyutsāho ruciś cānne svapne kaluṣamajjanaṃ | vāyunonmathanaṃ cāpi bhramaś cakragatasya vā | yasya syur acireṇaivā unmādaṃ so dhigacchati || āsphoṭāyatyaṭati gāyati nṛttaśīlo vikrośati bhramati cāpy anilaprakopāt | tīkṣṇā himāmbuni caye pi sa vahniśaṃkī pittārdito nabhasi paśyati tārakāṃś ca | nidrāparo lpakathato lpabhuguṣṇasevī rātrau bhṛśaṃ bhavati cāpi kaphaprakopāt | sarvātmake tribhir api vyatimiśritāni rūpāṇi vātakaphapittakṛtāni vidyāt | cauraiḥ sarājaḥ puruṣair aribhi yathā vā vitrāsitasya dhanabāndhavasaṃkṣayād vā || gāḍhaṃ kṣate manasi ca priyayā riraṃsor yeta cotkaṭātaro manaso vikāraḥ | citraṃ bravīti ca manonugataṃ visaṃjño gāyatyatho hasati rodati cāpi mūḍhaḥ | raktekṣaṇai hatabalendriyavāk sudīnaḥ śyāmānano viṣakṛte na saṃjñaḥ || manujamunmādārtaṃ viśodhayet | tīkṣṇair ubhayatobhāgaiḥ śirasaś ca virecanaiḥ | vividhairavapīḍaiś ca sarṣapasnehasaṃyutaiḥ| cūrṇṇaṃ śukyātha nāḍyā vā pradhame vvāsyatastavyoḥ | satataṃ dhūpayec cainaṃ śvagomāṃsaistupūtibhiḥ | sarṣapānyañ ca tailena nasyābhyaṅgai hitaḥ sadāḥ | ayaḥ pāśāvabaddhaś ca rajjuvyāḍāyudhādibhiḥ | trāsayed rakṣañ ca taṃ prasupta tṛ || jalodanāśinañ caiva śuddhe veśmani vāsayet | surakṣitaṃ balavatā jale taṃ pariṣecayet | gajairvinītair uragairaviṣaiś cāpi bhīṣayet | stambhāvabaddhaṃ yaṣṭībhiḥ kaśābhir vāpi tāḍayet | pratudedārayā cainaṃ marmāghātaṃ vivarjayet | cakrāpidhāne kūpe ca satataṃ tan nivāsayet | tryahāt tryahād cāsmai dadyād yavāṃgūm atha tarpaṇaṃ | kevalenāmbunā vāpi kulmāsām vā bahuśrutaḥ | brāhmīmendrīṃ viḍaṃgāni vyoṣa hiṃgu jaṭīsurāṃ | rāsnāṃ viṣaghnāṃ laśunaṃ viśalyāṃ surasāṃ vacāṃ | jyotiṣmatīn nāgavinnām anantāmabhayāt tathā | saurāṣṭrīñ ca samāṃśāni nāgamūtreṇa pīṣayet | cchāyāviśuṣkāstāvartyo yojayed vidhikovidaḥ | avapīḍe ñjane bhyaṅgo nasye dhūpe tathaiva ca | uropāṃgalalāṭoṣu sirāṃś cāsya vimokṣayet | apasmārakriyāñ cāpi grahoddiṣṭāñ ca kārayet | śāntadoṣaṃ viśuddhaś ca snehabastibhir ācaret | mṛdupūrvaṃ made py evaṃ kriyāṃ mṛdvīṃ prayojayet| śokaśalyaṃ vyapanayed unmāde pañcame bhiṣagiti || kāyaci kitsā || ||

vṛttam uktaṃ hi rakṣaṇañ ca mayāditaḥ || tasminn arthāṃ samāsoktaṃ vistareṇaiha vakṣyate | yasmin yasminṛtau ye ye doṣāḥ kupyanti dehināṃ | teṣu teṣu pradātavyā rasāste te vijānatā || praklinnatvāc charīrāṇyaṃ varṣāsu khalu dehināṃ | mandegnau kopam āyānti saṃharṣāt mārutādayaḥ | tasmāt kledaviśuddhyathaṃ doṣasaṃdhāraṇaya ca | kaṣāyatiktakaṭukai rasaiḥ saṃyuktamadravaṃ || nātisnigdhaṃ nātirūkṣamuṣṇaṃ dīpanam eva ca | deyamannaṃ nṛpataye yajjalañ cauktamāditaḥ | taptāyasa kṛtāmbho vā pibet kṣaudrānvitañ ca yat | ahni varṣānilāviṣṭe tyarthaśītāmbusaṃkule | taruṇatvād vidāhañ ca gacchanty auṣadhayas tathā | tannimittañ ca matimān nātivyāyāmam ācaret || nātiśīte purāṇyas tu yavagodhūmaśālayaḥ | ṣaiḥ mūpaiś ca kaṭubhir bhojyair hṛdyaiś ca jāṅgalaiḥ | mādhvīkaṃśīdhumalpam vā māhendram atha sārasaṃ | taptaśītaṃ kṣaudrayutaṃ kaupajam vā pibejjalaṃ | pūrvānilaṃ gharmasevāmudamanthaṃ sarijjalaṃ | divāśvapnamavaśyāyaṃ varjayec cātra maithunaṃ | praghairṣādvarttanasnānagandhasragdhṛmasevinā | bhūmyuṣmaparihārārthaṃ svapetmadhyaemaveśmani | śīte sāgnau nivāte ca guruprāvaraṇyanvitaḥ | kṣate kledādidoṣāṃś ca varjayec chasamvṛtaḥ || yāyānnāgavadhūbhiś ca praśastāgurubhūṣita iti || vyāpanītadharābhogaghananīlāvaguṇṭhite | vyomniprasannadiṅgarggaladdha prasarabhāskare | śkrāśtraladdhasandarśa jāyamānoddhate tataḥ | ākrāmati raverlakṣmīs tiraskṛtya ghanaṃ ghanaṃ | varṣāsu sañcitam pittamauṣṇyāc charadi kupyati | tasmāt pittaghnaṃ seveta sarva eva ghanātyaye || śītaṃ kaṣāya madhuramīṣallaghu satiktakam || sasarpirjāṅgala yutaṃ śaradyadyāt prakāṃkṣataḥ | hariṇyaṃ pṛṣatāṃ lāvāñc chaśāneṇyan kapiñjalāṃ || mudgāñc chālīnyavāñ jīrṇṇāṃ seven nātivyavāyavān | vidā hi kṣāratīkṣṇoṣṇadivāśvapnagurūṇyatha | śākaṃ guru ca yat māṃsamavaśyāyañ ca varjayet | sevyaḥ śaradi yat tanavidhireṣa vijānatā | drākṣakvukṣīrasevī ca bhavet tatra narādhipa | varṣāsu sañcitam pittaṃ nirharec ca virecanaiḥ | tiktaḥ sarpiḥ prayogair vā sirāṇyañ cāpi mokṣaṇaiḥ | svāduśītañ jalaṃ medhyaṃ śucisphaṭikanirmmalaṃ | śarac candrāṃsunirdhūtamagastyodayanirviṣaṃ | prasannatvāc ca salilaṃ sarvam eva tadā hitaṃ | śaratsupavanañ caivakamālautpalaśāliṣu | candanaṃ vāsakarpūraṃ vāsaś cāmalinaṃ laghuḥ | bhajec ca śāradaṃ mālyaṃ sīḥ pānañ ca yuktitaḥ | candrapādāḥ sahṛdvargaḥ sukhāni madhurāgiraḥ | pittapraśamanaṃ yac ca tac ca sarvaṃ samācarediti || hemanta śītalo rūkṣo mandasūyo nikulaḥ | annapānāṃ tilān māṣāṃ śākāni ca dadhīni ca | tathekṣuvikṛtiīñc chālīṃ sugandhāṃś ca navānapi | prasahānūpāmāṃsāni kravyādabilaśāyināṃ | audakānāṃ plavānāñ ca pādināñ caupayojayet | madyāni ca prasannāni yac ca kiñcid balapradaṃ | kāmatas tan niṣeveta puṣṭim icchan himāgame | tailai koṣṇe sukheṣṇe vā praśastamavagāhanaṃ | saśiraskaṃ tathābhyaṃgaṃ vyāyāmañ cācared bhṛśaṃ | sukhodakāvagāhaṃ vā saucamuṣṇāmbum eva ca | sāṃgārayāne mahati dhūpāmodamadotkaṭo | aurṇṇākauseyasamvītaśayane kuthakāstṛte | kuṃkumāgurudigdhāṃge nivāte gṛhagahvare | śayītaśayane cāpi suvistīrṇṇe manorame | sevyamāno mṛduśparśair nirdayair upagūhanaiḥ | tatrāpanītahārāṃś tu priyānāyaḥ śvalaṃkṛtāṃ | rāmayeyuyathākālaṃ balād api madotkaṭyaḥ | eṣa eva vidhiḥ kāyaḥ śiśire samudāhṛtaḥ | hemanta śeṣaḥ śiśiraḥ kecidicchanti vaidyakāḥ | meghamārutajaṃ śītaṃ raukṣyaṃ cādānajaṃ yataḥ | bhajejjijīviṣus tatra soṣṇasnigdhataranvidhiṃ | tatra manthamavaśyaṃ pravātaṃ rūkṣabhojanaṃ | malināni ca vāsāṃsi tathā śnānañ ca varjayed iti || tuṣārapaṭanirhāradīptabhāskararaśmiṣu | dineṣu jyambhamāṇaiṣu hīymānāsu rātriṣu | puṣpāṣṭahāsaśavalaiś ca auṣṇyādvasante viṣyaṇṇa kurute vividhān gadān | ato mbūmadhurasnigdhadivāsvapna gurūṇi ca | varjjayed vamanādīni kaṇy api ca kārayet | ṣaṣṭikānanavāñ chālīn nīvārān mudga kodravān | lāvādiviṣkirarasaiś cādyādyūṣañ ca yuktibhiḥ | paṭolanimbavetrāgratiktaiś cānyair himātyaye | sevenmadhvāsavāriṣṭāṃ dhuṃ mādhvīkam eva ca | vyāyāmam añjanan dhūmaṃ tīkṣṇañ ca kavaḍagrahaṃ | uṣṇāmbunā ca sarvārthān seveta kusumāgame | yavamudgamadhuprāyaṃ vasante bhojanaṃ hitaṃ | vyāyāmo vyadhikaś cātra sarva eva prasasyate | śirovirekair vamanaiḥ kaṣāyaiḥ kavaḍagrahaiḥ | nirharedapramattaś ca hemantopacitakaphaṃ | śuciḥ śuklāmbaradharaś candanāgurubhūṣitaḥ | pīnastanorujaṃ ghānāṃ rūpayauvaśālinīṃ | kānaneṣu vicitreṣu sarvālaṅkārabhūṣitāṃ | romayed yāvad utsāhaṃ sumanāḥ kusumāgame | tataś candrakarālokāṃ pradoṣaṃ sat suhṛjjanaḥ | saṃseved athavā liṅgya śvapet kāntāṅgṛhodare || ādadānaḥ karair grīṣme jagatsnehan divākaraḥ yauvanotsavanibhargnavanitāyām iva kṣitau | bibhratyāṃ durbhagaṃ rūkṣaṃ reñcaṅgārāruṇaṃ vapuḥ | vātacakrasamuddhūtaśuṣkaparṇṇaśvanānvitaḥ | raukṣyaṃ sañjanayatyāśus tataḥ śuṣyanti dehinaḥ | tasmān nidāghasamaye śoṣaṇaṃ rūkṣaṇañ ca yat | vyāyāmam uṣṇam āyāsaṃ maithunaṃ paridāhi ca | rasāṃś cāgniguṇyaidrikṣāṃ viśeṣeṇa vivarjayet || sarpiḥ khaṇḍa guḍāktāṃs tu sahākārarasānvitāṃ | sakkūn pibet prātas takraiḥ śītatoyottaraṃ naraḥ | yavagodhūmavikṛtīḥ śālīṃś ca vividhān api | prasahānūpamāṃ sāni vṛṣyāṇyanyāni yāni ca | prakārair vividhair adyānnidāghe svalkaṭumbinā | ṣāḍavair vividhairāgair gauḍikaiśvasu suṃkṛḥtaiḥ | suśītai snigdhamadhurais tarpayecchoṣitāṃs tanūn | hitañ ca bhojanaṃ grīṣme śītalaṃ madhuraṃ dravaṃ | saśarkareṇa payasā rātrāv api tu pūjitaṃ | sarāṃsi vāpyaḥ sarito vanāni rucirāṇi ca | candanāni parārdhyāni tathā sakamalotpaḥ | tālavṛttānilānhārā | gharmakālaṃ niṣeveta vāsāṃsi sulaghūni ca || divā śītagṛhe cāpi padmotpaladalo yute | śamīta ca yathākāmaṃ spṛśyamāno linilaiḥ sukhaṃ | trau harmyatale hṛdye puṣpaprakarabhūṣite | jalajaih kusumaiś citraiś candrapādāvaguṇṭhite | vyajanair vījñamānaś ca spṛśyamānaś ca komalaiḥ | strīṇāṃ stanaiḥ karaiś cāpi muktāhāraiś ca śītalaiḥ | saṃsedyāna āsīta suhṛdbhir abhisamvṛtaḥ | śayītaśayane śubhre candanārdrapaṭo naraḥ | rūkṣoc chuṣkeṣu deheṣu grīṣme vā puṣpitovalī || pravṛddhagambhīraravair meghair ativinādite | prodbhinnakandale syāmakadambakuṭarjyane | mālatīkusumāmodadaśāśāpūritembare | surendragopamaṇḍūkaiḥ prakīrṇṇavasudhātale | dvirephakṛtasaṅgītanalinīvanabhūṣite || śikhaṇḍināyakavarairnārambhakṛtotsave | daurbalyakāṣṭhāṃ paramāṃ yadā gacchati bhāskare | śītavātābhravarṣais tu vāyuḥ prāvṛṣi kupyati | nidāghopacitaṃ caiva prakupyantaṃ samīraṇaṃ | nihanyādavilambena vidhinā vyādhikovidaḥ | caryāḥ sukhoṣṇāś caratās tailāni vividhāni ca || bṛṃhaṇañ cāpi yatkiñcidabhiṣyandi tathaiva ca | navāmburūkṣaśītānnaṃ saktūṃś cāpi vivarjayet | yavaṣaṣṭikaśālīṃś ca godhumānanavāṃs tathā | harmyamadhye nivāte ca bhajec chayyāṃ mṛdūttarāṃ | saviṣaprāṇivinmūtralālāniṣṭhīvanādibhiḥ | samāplutan tadā toyamāntarīkṣaṃ viṣopamaṃ | vāyunā viṣajuṣṭena prāvṛṣeṇyaina dūṣitam | taddhi sarvopayogeṣu tasmin kāle vivarjayet | ariṣṭāsavamaireyāṃ sopadaṃśāṃś ca yuktitaḥ | pibet prāvṛṣi jīrṇṇāṃs tu rātrau prāvṛṣi varjayet | nirūhaibastibhiś cāpi tathānyair mārutāpahaiḥ | kupitaṃ śamayed vātaṃ vārṣikañ ca caredvidhiṃ | bhūyo varṣāt tu parjanyo gaṃgāyādakṣiṇe jane | tatra ca prāvṛt vaṣākhyo ṛtū teṣā prakīrttitau | tasya evottare deśe himavaddravyasaṃkule | bhūyaḥ śītatamas tatra hemantaśiśire ṛtū || ṛtāvṛtauya etena vidhinā varttate naraḥ | ghorānṛtukṛtānrogānāpnuyāt na kadācanaḥ | ata ūrdhvaṃ dvādaśāsanapravicārām vakṣyāmaḥ | tad yathā śītoṣṇasnigdharūkṣadravaśuṣkekakālikadvikālikauṣadhayuktahīnamātradoṣapraśamanapravṛdhyathāṃ || tṛṣṇāmadavidārhārttāt raktapittaviṣāt turān | saṃmūrcchā strīṣu ca kṣīṇyaṃ śītairannair upācaret | kaphavātāmayāviṣṭāṃ viriktaṃ snehapāyinaḥ | aklinnakāyāṃś ca narānuṣṇairannair upācaret | vātikān rūkṣadehāṃś ca vyavāyopahatāṃs tathā | vyāyāminaś cāpi narāṃ snigdhairannair upācaret | medasābhiparītāṃs tu sthūlāṃ mehāturānapi | kaphābhipannadehāś ca rūkṣairnnair upācaret | śuṣkadeṃ pipāsārttāṃ durbalānapi ca dravaiḥ | praklinnadehaṃ vraṇinaḥ śuṣkairmehinam eva ca | ekakālaṃ bhaveddeyo durbalāgnivivṛddhaye | śamāgnaye tathāhāro dviḥ kālam atha pūjitaḥ | auṣadhadveṣinai deyaṃs tathoṣadhasamāyutaṃ | mandāgnaye rogiṇe ca mātrāhīnaḥ prasasyate || yathartudan usnvāhāro doṣapraśamanaḥ smṛtaḥ | ataḥ paraṃtū svasthānāṃ sarva eva prasasyate || ata ūdhvaṃ daśauṣadhakālān vakṣyāmaḥ | tatrābhaktaṃ | prāgbhaktaṃ | adhobhaktaṃ | madhyabhaktaṃ | antarābhaktaṃ | subhaktaṃ | sāmudbhaaṃ | muhurmuhur grāsaṃ | grāsāntarañ ceti || tatrābhaktannāmayaḥ | kevalamauṣadham upayujyate || ryādhikaṃ bhavati bheṣajam annahīnaṃ hanyāt tathāmayamasamayamāśu caiva | tad bālavṛddhavanitāmṛdavas tu pītvā glāniṃ parāṃ samupayānti balakṣayañ ca || prāgbhaktan nāma | yat prāgbhaktaṃ pīyate | paścād bhujyate | tac chīghraṃ vipākam upayāti balaṃ na hiṃsyād annāvṛtatvān na ca murhur muhurvadanān nireti | prāgbhaktasevinam adhobalamādadhāti | daddhāc ca vṛddhaśisubhīrukṛśāṅganānyaḥ || adhobhaktan nāma | yadbhuktvā pīyate | pītaṃ yad annam upayujya tad ūrvakāye hatvā gadāṃ bahuvidhāṃś ca balan dādāti || madhya bhaktan nāma | yan madhye bhaktasya pīyate | madhye tu pītam apahanty avisāribhāvā ye dehamadhyem atibhūya bhavanti rogāḥ || antarābhaktan nāma | yad antare pāyate | pūrvāparayor bhaktayoḥ hṛdyam manobalakaraṃ tvapi dīpanañ ca pathyaṃ sadā bhavati cāntarabhaktakan tat || sabhaktan nāma | auṣadhaiṣu yat sādhyate || pathyaṃ sabhaktam abalābalayor hi nityaṃ tad dveṣiṇām api tathā śiśuvṛddhayoś ca | sāmudgan nāma | yad bhaktasyādāvante ca pīyate || doṣe dvidhā prasārite tu samudgasaṃjñāḥ | ādyaantayor yad aśanasya niṣevyate tu || muhur muhur nāma | sabhaktam abhakta || śvāsai muhur muhur atiprasṛte ca kāse hikkāvamīṣu ca bhavatyupayojyametat || grāsan nāma | yatpiṇḍaṃ vyāmiśram upayujyate | grāseṣu cūrṇṇamabalāgniṣu dīpanīyaṃ | vājīkaṇy api ca yojayituṃ yateta || grāsāntaran nāma | piṇḍāntaraṃ yadupayujyate || grāsāntareṣu visṛjed vamatīyadhūmāṃ cchvāsādiṣu prathitadṛṣṭaguṇāṃś ca lehān || daśauṣadhakālā bhavanti || bhavati cātra | visṛṣṭe viṇmūtre viśadakaraṇair dehe ca sulaghau | śuddhe rodgare hṛdi ca vimale vāte ca sarati | tathānnaśuddhāyāṃ klamaparigame kukṣau ca śithile | prayadeyastv āhāro bhavati bhiṣajasātmyaprakriyeti | bhagavāṃn āha dhadhaṃ vantariḥ || kāyaci kitsā || ||

saṃśayaḥ | vyākhyānaṃ | svasaṃjñā | nirvacanaṃ | nidarśanaṃ | niyogaḥ | vikalpaḥ | samuccayaḥ | ūhyam iti || atrāha | āṃ yuktīnāṃ kiṃ prayojanaṃ | ucyate || vākyayojanam arthayojanañ ca || ślokau cātra bhavataḥ || asadadvādi prayuktānāñ ca śabdānāṃ pratiṣedhanaṃ | svavākyasiddhir api ca kriyate tantrayuktibhiḥ || vyatyāsoktās tu ye hy arthā līnā ye cāpy anirmalāḥ | leśoktā ye ca kecit syus teṣāñ cāpi prasādhanaṃ | tatra yo rtham adhikṛtyocyate tad adhikaraṇaṃ | yathā rasaṃ doṣam vā || yena vākyaṃ yujyate sa yogaḥ | yathā vyatyāsenoktānāṃ sannikṛṣṭaviprakṛṣṭānāṃ padārthānām ekīkaraṇaṃ || tailaṃ pibec cāmṛtavalli nimba haṃsāhvayā vṛkṣakapippalībhiḥ | siddhaṃ balābhyāñ ca sadevadāru hitāya nityaṃ galagaṇḍaroge || siddhaṃ pibed iti prathamaṃ vaktavye dvitīye pāde siddhaṃ prayuktaṃ evan dūrasthānām api padārthānām ekīkaraṇaṃ yogaḥ || yo rtho bhihitaḥ sūtre pade vā sa padārthaḥ | padasya padayoḥ padānām vā yo rthaḥ sa padārthaḥ | aparimitāś ca padārthāḥ yatra tu snehā svedābhyañjaneṣu dvayos trayāṇām vārthānām upapatti dṛśyate tatra yo rthaḥ pūrvāparayoga siddho bhavati | yathā vedotpattim adhyāyaṃ vyākhyāsyāma ity ukte sandihyate buddhiḥ katamasya vedasyotpattiṃ vakṣyati | sāmavedādayaś ca vedāḥ | pūrvāparam upalakṣya vinda vida ity etayoś ca dhātvor ekārthaḥ | paścāt padam bhati āyurvedotpattim ayam vivakṣur iti eṣa padārthaḥ | yad uktaṃ sādhanaṃ bhavati sa hetvarthaḥ | yathā mṛtpiṇḍo dbhiḥ praklidyate tathā māṣa dugdha prabhṛtibhir vraṇaḥ klidyate || samāsa vacanaṃ samuddeśaḥ yathā śalyam iti || vistaravacanaṃ nirdeśaḥ | yathā śārīram āgantu ceti || evam ity upadeśaḥ yathā rātrau na jāgṛyād divā na supyā iti || anena kāraṇenety apadeśaḥ | yathāpadiśyate madhureṇa śleṣmābhivardhata iti || prakṛtasyātikrāntena sādhanaṃ pradeśaḥ | yathā devadattasyānena śalyam uddhṛtaṃ yajñadattasyāyam uddhariṣyatīti || prakṛtasyānāgatena sādhanam atideśaḥ | yathā yad yasya vāyur ūrdhvam uttiṣṭhati | tenodāvarttī syād iti || abhipramṛjyāpakarṣaṇam apavargaḥ | yathā asvedyā viṣopasṛṣṭā anyatra mūtrakīṭaviṣād iti || yena padenānuktena vākyaṃ samāpyate sa vākyaśeṣaḥ | yathā śiraḥpāṇipādapṛṣṭhapārśvodaravān ity ukte puruṣagrahaṇaṃ vināpi gamyate puruṣa evokta iti || yad akīrttitam arthād āpadyate sārthāpattiḥ | yathā odanaṃ bhokṣyāmahety ukte arthād āpannaṃ bhavati nāyaṃ pipāsur yavāgūm iti || yady asya prātilomyaṃ tad viparyayaḥ | yathā kṛśolpaprāṇabhīravo duciḥkitsya ity ukte viparītaṃ gṛhyate dṛḍhādayaḥ || sucikitsyā iti || prakaraṇāntareṇa samāna prasaṃgaḥ | yathādhikaraṇāntarito yo rtha asakṛd asakṛd uktaḥ samāpyate sarvatra || yad avadhāraṇenocyate sa ekāntaḥ | yathā trivṛtā virecayati madanaphalaṃ vāmayati || kvacit tathā kvacid anyathā so nekāntaḥ | yathā ke kecid rasā kecid vīryaṃ kecid vipāka iti || yas tu niḥsaṃśayam abhidhīyate sa pūrvapakṣaḥ | yathā kathaṃ vātanimittāś catvāraḥ pramehā asādhyā bhavanti || tasyottaraṃ nirṇṇayaḥ | yathā śarīraṃ prapīḍya praścyotayitvādho gatvā vasāmedomajjānuviddhaṃ mūtraṃ sṛjati evam asādhyā vātajāḥ || paramatam apratiṣiddham anumataṃ | yathā yo brūyāt ṣaḍ rasā iti vādī tac ca prati pratipādyānumanyate kathaṃcit tad anumatan nāmaḥ || prakaraṇānupūrvyād abhihitaṃ vidhānaṃ | yathā sakthirvyābhihitāni || evaṃ vakṣyatīty anāgatāpekṣaṇaṃ | yathā ślokasthāne brūyāc cikitseṣu vakṣyāmīti || ity uktām ity atikrāṃtāpekṣaṇaṃ | yathā cikitsiteṣu brūyāt | ślokasthāne yad abhihitam iti || ubhayahetunidarśanaṃ saṃśayaḥ | yathā talahṛdayaghātaḥ prāṇaharaḥ pāṇipādacchedana prāṇaharaṃ || tatrātiśayo | ha pañcaviṃśakaḥ puruṣo vyākhyāyate | tathā nānyeṣv āyurvedatantreṣu bhūtādiṃ pratyārabdhaṃś cintā iti || anyaśāstrāsāmānyā svasaṃjñā | sveṣu tantreṣu saṃjñā yā sā svasañjñā | yatheha śāstre mithunam iti | madhusarpiṣor grahaṇaṃ trivṛtam iti sarpistailavasāṃ || lokaprathitam udāharaṇaṃ nirvacana | yathoṣṇabhayāc chām anusarati || dṛṣṭāntavyaktir nirvacanaṃ | yathā agnir vāyusahitaḥ kakṣe bhivṛddhiṃ gacchati tathā vātapittakaphaduṣṭo vraṇo bhivṛddhiṃ gacchatīti || idam eveti niyogaḥ yathā pathyam eva bhoktavyam iti || ide cedañ ceti vikalpaḥ | yathā māṃsavarge eṇahariṇalāvatittirāḥ pradhānā iti || saṃkṣepavacanaṃ samuccayaḥ | yathā rasodanaḥ kṣīrodaṇaḥ saghṛtā vā yavāgūr bhavatv iti || yad anirdiṣṭaṃ buddhigamyan tad ūhyaṃ | yathā abhihitam anupānavidhau caturvidham annapānaṃ bhakṣyaṃ bhojyaṃ lehyaṃ peyam iti | evaṃ caturvidhe vaktavye dvividham abhihitaṃ || atrohyaṃ bhavati annapāne viśiṣṭe dvayo grahaṇe caturṇṇām api grahaṇaṃ bhavati || kiñ cānyat anne bhakṣyam aviruddhaṃ ghanasādharmyāt | peye lehyaṃ dravasādharmyāt | caturvidhas tv āhāraḥ praviralaḥ | athāto doṣabhedavikalpam adhyāyaṃ vyā khyāsyāmaḥ || aṣṭāṅgāyurvedavidaṃ kāśirājam mahīpatiṃ | cchinnaśāstrārthasandehaṃ sūkṣmāgādhamivodadhiṃ | viśvāmitrasutaḥ śrīmāṃ suśrutaḥ paripṛcchati || dviṣaṣṭirdoṣabhedā ye purastātparikīrttitāḥ | kati tatraikaśo jñeyā viṃśo vāpy athavā triśaḥ | tasya tad vacanaṃ śrutvā saṃśayacchinmahātapāḥ | prītātmā nṛpaśārdūla suśrutāyāha tattvataḥ | trayo doṣā dhātavaś ca pūrīśaṃ mūtram eva ca | deha sandhārayanty ete hy avyāpannā rasair hitaiḥ | puruṣaḥ ṣoḍaṣakalaḥ prāṇāś caikādaśaiva ye | rogāṇāñ ca sahasraṃ yac chata viṃśatir eva ca | vyāsataḥ kīrttitan tadvibhinnā doṣāsu yo guṇāḥ | dviṣaṣṭidhā bhavanty ete bhūyiṣṭham iti niścayaḥ | traya eva pṛthag doṣāḥ dviśo nava samādhikāḥ | trayodaśādhikaikadvihīnamadhyordhvalakṣaṇaiḥ | tribhir pañcāśad etan tu sahaivaṃ kṣayam āgataiḥ | hīnamadhyādhikādvekakṣīṇavṛddhās tathāpare dvādaśaiva samākhyātā rogayonir dviṣaṣṭidhā | miśrā dhātumalairaiva yānty asaṃkhyeyatām api | tasmāt prasagaṃ saṃyamya doṣabhedavikalpanaiḥ | rogaṃ viditvopacared rasabhedair yathe ritaiḥ | bhiṣak karttātha karaṇaṃ rasā doṣāś ca kāraṇaṃ || ryam ārogyam evaikam anārogyam athāpi vā | taśmāt sādhu viditvetāṃ rasadoṣavikalpaṇāṃ | bhiṣajabheṣajaṃ kāryaṃ prāṇyaṃ hanyan yathā kṛtāṃ || adhyāyānāñ ca tuḥ ṣaṣṭyā grathitārthapadakramaṃ | etad eva viśeṣeṇa tantram uttaram ṛddhimat | spagūḍhārthagambhīram agādhaṃ mandacetasāṃ | yathākramaṃ yathāpraśnaṃ yathā tatvaṃ yathā vidhiṃ | yathā pratijñañ ca mayā bhavatāṃ parikīrttitaṃ || sahottaran tv etad adhītya tantraṃ svāyaṃbhuvaṃ taṃ vidhi kīrttitena | na hīyate rthāṃ manaso bhyupetād āevaṃ vaco brāhmyam atīva satyam iti || ❈ || mūtradoṣo mūtrāghāto yonyamāṣa eva ca || apasmāronmādakañ caiva rasabhedas tathaiva ca | svastharakṣāvidhāṇañ ca tantrayuktiś ca doṣabhit | ity ebhir daśakaṃ proktaṃ punaḥ kāyacikitsite || ❈ || samāptañ cedaṃ sahottaratantram ity ato nighaṇṭur bhabhaviṣyati || ❈ || rājyerājñiśrīmānadeve pṛthusitayaśasi prodyadinduprakāśe kāle puṇyārjjanasya sakalajanamanohlādiramye vasante varśe caikottare 'smiṃs tritayaśatagate mādhave māsi śukle saptamyāṃ puṣya ṛkṣe daśaśatakiraṇe vāsare siddhayoge utpattyādyambuvelākulavividharujagrāhajuṣṭātiraudre saṃsāre sāgare 'smiñ jagad idam akhilaṃ glāninam sampravīkṣya tasmāc chrīharṣacandro nniratiśayaghṛṇābhāvito moktukāmaḥ prītyā caiigaṃ prākhilat suśrutākhyaṃ śrīgaṇadevadevakuladūnī gvalakanivāsino vaidyavasuvarmaṇaḥ pustakam idaṃ paṭhitvārtham avagamya sarvasattvānām upadeśaṃ vidhātuṃ pratipāditam atas tad ādhikrayābhyāṃ tad gotrajena cin na kaścid dātavyam | yadā nopakriyate tadāsyan eva pratyarpaṇīyam iti ||
