ūrdhvan sādhyamadhoyāpyamasādhyaṃ yuga
padgataṃ ||
yakṛn plīhāsyām ichanti kecid raktagatiṃ janāḥ

sadanaṃ śītakāmitvaṃ kaṇṭhadhūmāyanaṃ vamiḥ

lohagandhiś ca niśvāso bhavaty asmin bhaviṣyati
||
vāhyāsṛglakṣaṇais tasya sa
khyā doṣocchritair vviduḥ ||
daurvvalyaṃśvāsakāsajvaravamathumadā
pāṇḍutādāhamūrcchā bhukte cānne vidāhas tv adhṛtir api sadā
hṛdyatulyāvapīḍā|
tṛṣṇā kaṇṭhasya bhedaḥ śirasi ca pa
vanaṃ
pūtiniṣṭhīvanañ ca
dveṣo bakte vipāko viratir api bhavad raktapittopasargāt

yakṛtkarddamāmbhonibham vā medaḥ pūyāsthikalpaṃ

kaṇṭhāsyaśoṣaḥ sravaṇāvarodhas tṛṣṇābhighātād dhṛdayavyathā

v atha vāpi gulmaḥ |
jṛmbho ṅgamarddo ṅgaśirotha jāḍyaṃ, nidrābhighātād athavāpi tandrī ||

srotāṃsy udāvarttayati purīśaś cāpi varttayet |
tato hṛdbastiśūlārtto hṛllāsārucipīḍitaḥ

vātamūtrapurīṣāṇi kṛcchreṇa labhate naraḥ |

vamīṃ hikkāṃ śirorogam manassravaṇavibhramāṃ, |
bahūn anyām̐ś ca labhate, vikārān vātakopajān ||

doṣato bhinnavarccāṃsi bhuktaṃ cāpy

bhavec chāntim vrajaty evam udāvarttas tu dāruṇaḥ |
athainam bahuśaḥ svinnaṃ, yuñjyāt snehavi

pāyayed vā tṛvṛtpīluyavāgvām amlapānakaiḥ |
hiṅgukuṣṭhavacāsvarjji,viḍañ cāpi dviruttaraṃ ||
yogāv etān udāvarttaṃ śūlañ cātibalañ jeyet |
devadārvyagnikau kuṣṭhaṃ, śuṇṭhīṃ pathyām palaṃkaṣāṃ, ||
pauṣkarasya ca mūlāni,
toyasyārddhāḍhake pacet |
pādāvasiṣṭan ta
t pītam udāvarttaṃ vyapohati ||
mūlakaṃ śuṣkam ārddrañ ca,
varṣābhūlapañcakaṃ |
ārevataphalaṃ cāpsu, yatkṣatena ghṛtaṃ pacet ||
tat pīyamānakaṃ tyugraṃ
m udāvarttam aśeṣataḥ

vacām ativiṣām pāṭhāṃ yavakṣāraṃ
harītakīṃ ||
kṛṣṇān nirddahanīñ caiva pibed uṣṇena vāriṇā |
ikṣvākumūlam madanaṃ viśalyātiviṣe
vacāṃ, ||
kuṣṭhakiṇvāgnikau cāpi,
pibet tulyāni pūrvvavat |
mūtreṇa devadārvagnitriphalābṛhatīṃ pibet ||
yac ca prasthaṃ bale dve ca,
kaṇṭakāryā jalāḍhake |

madanālābubījāni,
pippalī sanidigdhikāṃ |
saṃcūrṇṇya nāḍyapradhame, dviṣety etad yathā gudaṃ, ||

kṛtavedhanasya kṛṣṇāyā lavaṇānāñ ca sādhayet

gavāṃ mūtreṇa tā varttyaḥ kārayeta gudaṃgamāḥ |
sadyaḥ śarmmakarāv etau yogāv amṛtasambhavāv iti || ❈ ||
uttaratantre trayaḥpañcāśattamaḥ kāyacikitsāyām
udāvarttacikitsāṣṭādaśamo 'dhyāyaḥ || ❈ ||

ajīrṇṇam āmaṃ viṣṭabdham vi
dagdhaṃ ca yad īritaṃ |

sūcībhir iva gātrāṇi tudan santiṣṭhate 'nilaḥ |
yasyām ajīrṇṇāt sā vaidyair vvisūcīti nirucyate ||

viditāgamāḥ |
mūḍhās tām ajitātmāno labhante śana2lolupāḥ ||

vaivarṇṇyakampau hṛdaye rujaś ca bhavanti tasyāṃ

kukṣir ānahyate 'tyarthaṃ tāmyate parikūjati |
niruddho mārutaś caiva,
kukṣāv upari dhāvati ||
vātavarcco nirodhaś ca, kukṣau yasya bhṛśam bhavet |

m ācaṣṭe, tṛṣṇodgārau ca yasya tu ||
duṣṭañ ca bhuktaṅ kaphamārutābhyāṃ
pravarttate norddhvam adhaś ca yasya |
viḍambikān tasya suduścikitsyām ācakṣate śāstravidaḥ purāṇāḥ ||

m āmaṃ hi rujārttam eva deśaṃ viśeṣeṇa vikārajātaiḥ |
doṣeṇa yenānugatañ ca gāḍhaṃ taṃ lakṣaṇair āmasamudbhavaiś

kṣāmasvaraḥ sarvvavimuktasandhi,r yāyān naraḥ so 'punar āgamāya ||
sādhyasya pārṣṇyo dahanaṃ praśastam
agnipratāpo vamanañ ca tīkṣṇaṃ |
pakve tato 'nnaṃ tu vilaṃghanaḥ syāt sampācanam vā
pi virecanam

viśuddhadehasya hi sadya eva, mūrcchātisārādir upaiti
śāntiṃ, |
āsthāpanañ cāpi hitam vadanti, sarvvāsu yogān na parān nibodhaḥ ||
pathyā vacā hiṅgu viḍaṃ vicū
rṇṇasukhāmbunāsātiviṣan niṣevet |
kṣārāgadam vā lavaṇaṃ viḍam vā, guḍapragāḍhān atha sarṣapam vā ||
amlena vā saindhavahiṃguyuktaiḥ sabījapūrṇṇau sukṛtau trivarggau

kaṭutrikam vā lavaṇair upetam pibet
snuhīkṣīravimiśritam vā

kṛṣṇājamodākṣasamāgnikāni, tulyam pibed vā magadhānikumbhau

pravarttamānan na yathāstam eta,d vikāram ānāham udāharanti ||
tasmin bhavanty āmasamudbhave tu bhramapratiśyāyaśirovidāhāḥ |

stambhaḥ kaṭīpṛṣṭhapurīṣamūtre, śūlo tha mūrcchā sa śakṛd vamec ca |

cātrālasakodbhavāni ||

d vāntam upakrameta, saṃsaktabhaktaṃ kramadīpanīyaiḥ |
athetaraṃ yo na śakṛd vameta, taṃ sādhayet svinnam imaiḥ

saṃcūrṇṇya varttim vitared vidhijño

mūtreṇa vā sādhyā yathā
vidhānaṃ, dravyāni yāny ūrddhvam adhaś ca

mātrārddhayuktena samākṣikeṇa |
tribhaṇḍipiṣṭaṃ lavaṇaprakuñcan datvā viriktaṃ

eteṣv eva ca tailena sādhitena sukhāmbunā | prāptaṃ yadi na ca
syād vā bhāgeṣv eva tu vāsanam iti || ❈ ||

sarvvātmakaṃ trividhaliṅgam atho

ttena tiktakaṭukaṃ madhuraṃ kaphena

upadhārayasannipāte,
dainyaṃ bhṛśam bhavati śokasamudbhave tu |
vāṃtovacādir anile vidhivat pittena koṣṇatoyamadirānya

doṣe dvidhā prasavite ttū
samudgasaṃjñāḥ | ādyantayo ||
muhur mmuhurn nāma | sabha
ktam vā
yad oṣadhaṃ muhur mmuhur upayujyate |
śvāse muhur mmuhur atiprasṛte ca kāse
hikkāvamīṣu ca bhavatyupayojyametat ||
grāsan nāma | yat piṇḍaṃ vyāmiśram upayujyate

ṣu cūrṇṇam abalāgniṣu
dīpanīyaṃ vājīkarāṇy api ca yojayituṃ yateta ||

vyākhyāsyāmaḥ ||
tatra dvātriṃśat tantrayuktayo bhavanti |

atrāha | āsāṃ yuktīnāṃ kiṃ prayojanaṃ | ucyate

asadaprayuktānāñ ca śabdānām pratiṣedhanaṃ |
svavākyasiddhir api ca kriyate tantrayuktibhiḥ ||
vyatyāsoktās tu ye hy arthā līnā ye cāpy
anirmmalāḥ |
lesauktā ye ca kecit syus teṣāñ cāpi prasādhanaṃ ||
tatra yo rdham adhikṛtyocyate tad adhika
raṇaṃ | yathā rasaṃ doṣaṃ vā ||
yena vākyaṃ yujyate sa yogaḥ | yathā nāṃ
sannikṛṣṭānām padārthānām ekīkaraṇaṃ |
tailaṃ pibec cāmṛtavalli nimba haṃhṛyā vṛkṣakapippalī
bhiḥ |
siddhaṃ balābhyāñ ca sadevadāru hitāya nitya galagaṇḍaroge | ||
dvisaṃ pibed iti prathamaṃ vaktavye dvitīye | pāde siddhaṃ
prayuktam evan dūrasthānām api padānām ekīkaraṇaṃ yo
gaḥ

yo 'rtho bhihitaḥ sūtra payo rthaḥ sa padārthaḥ | aparimitāsra padārthāḥ |
yatra ntū sneha svedābhyañjaneṣu
dvayos trayāṇām vārthānām u
papattir dṛśyate tatra yo
'rthaḥ pūrvvāparayoga siddho bhavati | yathā
vedotpattim adhyāyaṃ vyākhyāsyāma ity ukte | sandihyate buddhiḥ
katamasya vedasyotpattiṃ vakṣyati | sāmavedā
dayaś ca
ve kṣya vinda vida
ity etayoś ca dhātvor ekārthaḥ | paścāt padam bhavati |
āyurvvedotpattim ayam vivakṣur iti eṣa padārthaḥ |
yad uktaṃ sādhanaṃ bhavati sa hetvarthaḥ |
yathā mṛtpiṇḍo 'dbhiḥ praklidyate tathā māṣa dugdha prabhṛtibhir vvraṇaḥ klidyate ||
samāsa vacana sa uddeśaḥ |
yathā salyam iti |
vistaravacanaṃ nirddeśaḥ |
yathā sārīram āntū ce
ti
||
evam ity upadeśaḥ ||
yathā rātrau na jāgṛyād divā na supyād iti ||
anena kāraṇenety apadeśaḥ |
yathāpadiśyate madhureṇa śleṣmābhivardhana īti ||
prakṛtasyāti
krāntena sādhanam
pradeśaḥ ||
yathā devadattasyānena salyam uddhṛtaṃ yajñadattasyāyam
uddhariṣyatīti ||
prakṛtasyānāgatena sādhanam atideśaḥ |
yathā yad yasya vāyur ū
rdhvam uttiṣṭhati | tenodāvantī
syād iti ||
abhipramṛjvāpakarṣaṇam apavarggaḥ |
yathā asvedyā viṣopasṛṣṭā anyatra mūtrakīṭaviṣād iti |
yena panāntūktena vākyaṃ
samāpyate sa vākyaśeṣaḥ |
yathā śiraḥpāṇipādapṛṣṭhadhāsvediravān ity ukte
puruṣagrahaṇam vināpi gamyate puruṣa evokta iti ||
dayakīrttitam arthād āpadyate sā
rthāpattiḥ |
yathā odanaṃ bhokṣyāmahe tyakte arthād āpannam bhavati | nāyaṃ
pipāsur yavāgūr iti |
yady asya prātilomyaṃ tad viparyayaḥ |
yathā kṛśālpaprāṇābhīravo duścikitsyā ity u
kta viparītaṃ gṛhante dṛḍhādayaḥ | sucikitsyā iti ||
prakaraṇāntareṇa samānaḥ prasaṃgaḥ |
yathādhikaraṇāntarito yo rtha asakṛd asakṛd aḥ samāpyate sarvvatra ||
yad avadhāraṇenocyate sa ekāntaḥ ||
yathā trivṛtā virecati madanaphalaṃ vāmayati |
kvacit tathā kvacid anyathā so 'nekāntaḥ |
yathā kecid ācāryā bruvate dravyam pradhānaṃ kecid rasāḥ
kecid dvitīyā kecid vipāka iti ||
yas tū niḥsaṃśayam abhidhīyate sa
pūrvvapakṣaḥ |
yathā kathaṃ vāte nimittāś catvāraḥ pramehā asādhyā bhavanti |
tasyāntaran nirṇṇayaḥ |
yathā
śarīraṃ prapīḍya praścotayitvādho gatvā
vasāmedomajjāttūviddhaṃ mūtraṃ
sṛjati evam asādhyā vātajāḥ ||
paramamata pratiṣiddhamantramataṃ |
yathā yo brūyāt pattrasā iti ||
vādī tac ca prati
pratipādyāt tū manyate kathañ cit tamatan nāma
||
prakaraṇān tū pūrvvyād abhihitaṃ vidhānam
||
yathā śakti
sakthi2marmmāṇy ekādaśa prakaraṇāt tū
pūrvvyāni ||
evaṃ
vakṣyatīty anāgatāpekṣaṇaṃ |
yathā ślokasthāne brūyāc cikitsyeṣu vakṣyāmīti ||
ity uktam atikrāntāpekṣaṇaṃ |
yathā cikitsiteṣu brūyāc chlokasthāne yad abhihitam iti ||
ubhayantattū
nidarśanaṃ saṃśayaḥ |
yathā lahṛdayaghātaḥ prāṇaharaḥ pāṇipādacchedanam aprāṇaharaḥ ||
tatrātimayo 'pavarṇṇanaṃ vyākhyānaṃ |
yatheha pañcaviṅśakaḥ vyākhyāyate | tathā nānyeṣv āyurvve
datantreṣu
sutādim pratyārabdhaś cintā iti ||
anyaśāstrāsāmānyā svajñā ṣu tantreṣu saṃjñā yā
svasaṃjñā |
yatheha śāstre mithunam iti | madhusarppiṣo grahaṇaṃ trivṛtam

lokaprathitam udāharaṇaṃ nirvvacanaṃ |
yathoṣṇabhayāc chām antūsarati ||
dṛṣṭāntavyaktir nnirvvacanaṃ | yathā agnir

vraṇo bhivṛddhiṃ gacchatīti ||
idam eveti niyogaḥ | yathā pathyam eva bhoktavyam iti ||
idam evedañ ceti vikalpaḥ | yathā māṃsavargge
eṇahariṇalāva
tittirāḥ pradhānā īti ||
saṃkṣepa vacanaṃ ca samuccayaḥ |
tad iṣṭaṃ buddhigamyan tad ūhyaṃ ||

hitaṃ | atrohyam
bhavati annapāne viśiṣṭe dvayo grahaṇe caturṇṇām a
pi grahaṇaṃ
bhavatīti ||
kiñcānyena anne bhakṣyam aviruddhad yena sādharmmyāt |
caturvvidhas tv āharaḥ | praviralaḥ prāyeṇa dvividha eva ca | āto
dvitvaprasiddha |
annaśāstārthasandehaṃ sukṣmāgādham ivodadhiṃ |
viśvāmitra
sutaḥ śrīmān
suśrutaḥ paripṛcchati ||
dviṣaṣṭir ddoṣabhedā ye punas tān parikīrttitāḥ |
kati tatraikaśo jñayā viṃśo vāpy athavā triśaḥ

tasya tad vacanaṃ śrutvā saṃśa

rayanty ete hy
avyāpannā rasair hitaiḥ |
puruṣaḥ ṣoḍśakalaḥ prāṇāś caikā daśaś caye ||
rogaṇāñ ca sahasraṃ yac chatam viṅśatir

vyāsataḥ kīrttitan tad dhi bhinnādoṣās tryo
guṇāḥ ||
dviṣaṣṭidhā bhavanty e
te bhūyiṣṭham iti niścayaḥ |

kṣayam āgataiḥ ||
hīnamadhyādhikād vekakṣīṇavṛddhas tathāpare |
dvādaśaiva samākhyātā rogayonir dviṣaṣṭidhā ||
miśrādhātumlaiś caiva yānty asaṃkhyeyanām api |
tasmāt prasaṃgasaṃsavya
doṣabhedavika
lpanaiḥ ||
rogam viditvopacared rasa
ṇāṃ henty
anyathā kṛtaṃ ||
adhyāyānāñ
catuḥṣaṣtyāgrathitārthapadakramaṃ |
etad eva viśeṣeṇa tantram uttaram ṛddhimat ||

yathā pratijñāś
camayābha
apasmāronmādakañ caiva rasabhedas tathaiva ca ||
