2 athāto vātavyādhinidānaṃ vyākhyāsyāmaḥ

dhanvantarin dharmmabhṛtām variṣṭham amṛtodbhavaṃ |
caraṇāv upasaṃgṛhya suśrutaḥ paripṛcchati ||
vāyoḥ prakṛti
bhūtasya vyāpannasya ca bhūpate |
sthānaṃ rogavibhāgañ ca vadasva vadatām varaḥ ||
tasya tad vacanaṃ śrutvā jagāda bhagavān ṛṣiḥ
svayaṃbhūr eṣa bhagavā
n vāyur ity abhiśabditaḥ ||
svātantryān nityabhavāc ca sa rvvagatvāt tathaiva ca |
sarvveṣām eva sarvvātmā sarvvalokanamaskṛtaḥ ||
sthityutpattivināśe
ṣu bhūtānām eṣa kāraṇaṃ |
avyakto vyaktakarmmā ca śī to rūkṣo laghuś ca raḥ
||
tiryaggo dviguṇaś caiva rajo vahula eva ca |
acintyavīryo doṣāṇāṃ netā rogasamūharāṭ ||
āśucārī muhū ścārī pakvādhānagudālayaḥ |
dehe vicarata s tasya lakṣaṇāni nivodha me ||
indriyā
rthopasampattir ddoṣadhātvagni sāmyatāṃ |
kriyāṇām ānulomyañ ca kuryād vāyur adūṣitaḥ ||
yathāgni pañcadhā bhinno nāmasthānātmakarmmabhiḥ |
bhinno 'ni las tathā hy eko nāmasthānakriyāmayaiḥ ||
prāṇodānaḥ samānaś ca vyānopānas tathaiva ca |
sthānasthā mārutāḥ pañca yāpayanti śarīriṇaṃ ||
yo 'nilo
vaktrasaṃcārī sa prāṇo nāma dehadhṛk |
so nnam praveśa yaty antaḥ prāṇām̐ś cāpy avalamvate ||
prāyaśaḥ kurute cāpi hikvā śvāsādikān gadān |
udāno nāma yopy ūrdhva m upaiti pavanottamaḥ ||
tena bhā ṣitagītādir vviśeṣo 'bhipravarttate |
ūrdhva jatrugatān rogān karoti ca viśeṣataḥ ||
āmapakvāsayacaraḥ samāno 'gni sahāyavān |
annam pacati tajjām̐ś ca bhāvān pravivinakti saḥ ||
gulmāgni saṅgātīsārān prāyaśaś ca karoti hi ||
kṛtsnadehadehacaro vyāno rasasamvā hanodyataḥ |
svedāsṛksrāvaṇaś cāpi sarvvathā ceṣṭayaty api ||
kruddhaś ca kurute rogān prā
yaśaḥ sarvadehagān ||
pakvādhānālayo 'pānaḥ kāle karṣati cāpy adhaḥ |
vātamūtrapurīṣāṇi śukragarbhārttavāni ca ||
kruddhaś ca kurute rogān ghorān va sti gudāśrayān ||
śukradoṣāḥ pramehāś ca vyānāpānapradoṣajāḥ |
yugapat kupitāś cāpi dehaṃ bhindyur asaṃśayaṃ || o ||
ataḥ sarvvān pravakṣyāmi nānāsthā
nāntarāśritān |
vahuśaḥ kupito vāyur vvikārān kurute hi yān ||
vāyur āmāsaye kruddhaḥ kuryāc chardyādikān gadān |
mohaṃ mūrcchām pipāsāṃ ca hṛdgraham pārśvavedanāṃ ||
pakvāsayastho ntrakūjaṃ śū lādhmānau karoti ca |
kṛcchramūtrapurīṣatva mānāhantrikavedanāṃ ||
srotrādiṣv indriyavadhaṃ kuryāt kruddhaḥ samīraṇaḥ |
vaivarṇṇyaṃ sphuraṇaṃ rūkṣaṃ su ptiṃ cumucum āyanaṃ ||
tvakstho nistodanaṃ granthīn sarujān māṃsasaṃśritaḥ |
tathā medāśri
taḥ kuryād granthīn mandarujo vraṇān
kuryād sirāga taḥ śūlaṃ sirākuñcanapūraṇaṃ |
snāyuprāptaḥ snāyujālaṃ stambhayatyākṣipaty api ||
hanti sandhigataḥ saṃdhīn śūlaśophau karoti ca |
asthibhedaḥ praśoṣaś ca kuryāc chūlañ ca tatkṛtaḥ ||
tathā majjagate rukca na kadācit praśāmyati |
apravṛttim pravṛttim vā vikṛtāṃ śukragonilaḥ ||
hastapādaśirodhātūn tathā sañcarati kramāt |
vyāpnu yād vā
khilaṃ deham vāyuḥ sarvvagato nṛṇāṃ
||
stambhanākṣepaṇasvā paśophaśūlām̐ś ca sarvvaśaḥ |
sthāneṣūkteṣu sanmiśraḥ sanmiśrāḥ kurute rujāḥ ||
kuryād avayava
sthaś ca mātariśvā gadān vahūn |
prāṇe pittāvṛte ccharddi rddāhaścaivopajāyate ||
daurvvalyaṃ sadanaṃ tandrā vairasyañ ca kaphāvṛte |
udāne pittayukte tu moha
mūrcchābhramaklamāḥ ||
asvedaharṣo mandāgniḥ śītatā ka phāvṛte |
svedadāhoṣṇyamūrcchāḥ syuḥ samāne pittasaṃyute ||
kaphena saṃge viṇmūtre gātre harṣaś ca jāyate |
apāne pittayukte tu dāhoṣṇo raktamū tratā ||
adhaḥkāyagurutvañ ca śītatā ca kaphāvṛte |
vyāne pittāvṛte dāho gātravikṣepaṇaḥ kla
maḥ ||
stambhanoddaṇḍkaś cāpi śothaśūlaṃ kaphāvṛte ||
prāyaśaḥ sukumārāṇāṃ mithyāhāravihāriṇāṃ ||
doṣādhvamadyapramadāvyāyāmaiś ca prapīḍitān ||
anudeśaviparyāsādamātmyānāñ ca bhojanāt |
sthūlam vyāyāmavato vātaraktam prakupyati ||
hastyaśvoṣṭrair gacchato 'nyaiś ca vāyuḥ kopaṃ
yāyātkāraṇaiḥ sevitaiś ca |
tīkṣṇoṣṇāmlakṣāraśākādibhojyaiḥ santāpā d yair
bhūyaā sevitaiś ca ||
śīghraṃ raktam vidra vatyāśu tac ca
vāyor mmārggaṃ saṃruṇadhdhy āśu yātaḥ |

sarvve duṣṭe śoṇite cāpi doṣāḥ svaṃ svaṃ liṃgam pādayor ddarśayanti

kaphānvito bhṛśam vāyus tāsv eva yadi tiṣṭhati |
sa daṇḍava t stambhayati sa tu daṇḍāpatānakaḥ ||
dhanus tulyannamedy astu sa dhanuḥ stambhasaṃjñitaḥ |

snāyupratānam anilo yadā kṣipati vegavān |

kaphapittānvito vāyur vvāyur eva ca kevalaṃḥ|
kuryād ākṣepakaṃ tv anyaṃ caturtham abhighātajaṃ ||
garbhbhapātanimittaś ca śoṇitātisravāc ca

abhighātanimittaś ca na sidhyaty apatānakaḥ ||
adhogamāś cordhvagāś ca tiryaggāś cānilo valī |
yadātyartham prakupito dhamanīḥ pratipa

tadānyatarapakṣasya sandhivandhānvimokṣayan |
ha nti pakṣantamāhuś ca pakṣāghātam bhiṣagvarāḥ ||
tasya kṛtsnaṃ śarīrārddham akarmmaṇyam acetanaṃ |
tataḥ patatyasūn vāpi tyajaty anilapīḍitaḥ ||
dāhaḥ santāpamūrcchā syur vvāyau
pittasamanvite |
śaityaśophagurutvañ ca tasminn eva kaphānvite ||

vātāhatampakṣaṃ kṛcchraṃ sādhyatamam viduḥ |
sādhyam anyena saṃ sṛṣṭam asādhyaṃ kṣayahetukaṃ ||
uccair vvyāharato 'tyarthaṃ khādataḥ kaṭhināni vā |
hasato jṛmbhato bhārā
c chayanād viṣamād api ||
arddayitvānilo vaktramardditañjanayatnataḥ ||
vakrī bhavati vaktrārddhaṅ grīvā cāpy upavarttate ||

grīvācivukadantānāṃ tasmin pārśve ca vedanā ||
tam ardditam iti prāhur vvyādhiṃ vyādhivicakṣaṇāḥ ||
kṣīṇasyānimiṣākṣasya praśaktāvyaktabhāṣiṇaḥ ||
na sidhyaty ardditam vāḍhaṃ trivarṣam vepanasya ca ||
pārṣṇipratyaṅgu līnāṃ yā kaṇḍarā sānilārdditā |
sakthnaḥ kṣepanna gṛhṇāti gṛdhra sīti ca sā smṛtā ||
talam pratyaṃ
gulīnān tu kaṇḍarā vāhupṛṣṭhataḥ |
vāhvoḥ karmmakṣayakarī viśvañcī tīha cocyate ||
vātaḥ śoṇitajaḥ śopho jānumadhye mahārujaḥ |
jñeyaḥ kroṣṭukaśī
rṣeti sthūlaḥ kroṣṭukaśīrṣavat ||
vāyuḥ kaṭyāśritaḥ sakthnaḥ kaṇḍarāmākṣipedyadā |
khañjas tadā bhavej jānuḥ paṃguḥ sakthnor dvayor vyadhāt ||
prakāmam vepate jantuḥ

kalāyakhañjantam vidyān muktasandhipra vandhanaṃ ||
nyaste tu viṣame pāde rujaṃ kuryāt samīraṇaḥ |

pādayoḥ kurute dāham pittāsṛksahito 'nilaḥ ||
viśeṣataś caṅkramataḥ pādadāhan tam ādiśet ||
hṛṣyate caraṇau yasya bhaveyātāñ ca suptakau |
pādaharṣaḥ sa vijñeyaḥ kaphavātaprakopajaḥ ||
aṃsadeśasthito vāyuḥ śoṣayaty aṃgavandhanaṃ |
sirāś cākuñcya tatrastho janayaty avavāhukaṃ ||
yadā śabdavaham vāyuḥ śrotra āvṛ
tya tiṣṭhati |
śuddhaḥ śleṣmānvito vāpi vādhiryantena jāyate ||
āvṛtya vāyuḥ sakapho dhamanīḥ śabdavāhinīḥ |
narāṅ karoty akriyakāmmūkamirmmiragadga
dāṃ ||
śirogrīvahanuḥ śaṃkhau yasya bhindann ivānilaḥ |
karṇṇayoḥ kurute śūlaṃ karṇṇaśūlaḥ sa ucyate ||
adho yā vedanā yāti varccomūtrāsayotthitā

bhindatīva gudopasthau sā tūnīnāma nāmataḥ ||
gudopastho tthitā saiva pratilomam pradhāvitā |
vegaiḥ pakvāsayaṃ yāvat pratitūnīti sā smṛtā ||

ādhmānantam vijānī yād ghoram vātanirodhajaṃ ||

etām eva rujāyuktaṃ vāta viṇmūtrarodhinīṃ |
pratyaṣṭhīlām iti vadej jaṭhare tiryagutthitām iti ||

dho gatvā gudam āgamya pradūṣya gudavalīrmmāsam
prarohaṃkandā ñ janayanti tāny arśāṃsīty ācakṣate ||
tatra sthūlāntrapratibaddhamardhapañcamāṅagulaṃ gudamādusta
smina valayastisrodhyadhdaṅagulāntarasambhūtāḥ | pravāhiṇī
visṛjanī saṃvaraṇī ceti |
romāntebhyo yavādhyardho gudauṣṭhaḥ |
prathamā tu gudauṣṭhādaṅagulamātre
teṣāṃ
tu bhaviṣyetāṃ pūrvarūpāṇi | annena
śraddhā kṛcchrāt paktir amlīkān na vijṛmbheḥ saktisadanamācopaḥ kārśya
mudgārabāhulyam akṣṇoḥ śvayathur ntra daparikartanaṃ kāsaśvāsaḥ
pāṇḍurogagrahaṇīdoṣaḥ kadācittadā balahānirindriyayaiḥ daurbalyam |
jāte śvetānye
va lakṣaṇāni pravyaktatarāṇi
bhavanti ||
tatra mārutāt pariśu ṣkāruṇavivarṇāni
viṣamamadhyamāni kadambapuṣpatuṇḍikerīkānāḍīmukhasūcīmukhākṛtīni tair u
padrutaḥ saśūlaṃ saṃhatamupaveśyate | kaṭīpraṣṭhagudamadeṣu
cāsya vedanā gulmāsthīlāplīhodarāṇi cāsya tannimittāny eva
kṛṣṇanakhanayanavadanamūtrapūrī

puruṣo bhavati ||
pittāntunīlāgrāṇi tanūni visa rpāni pīttāvabhāsāni
yakṛtprakāśāni śukajihvāsaṃsthanāni yavamadhyāni jalaukāvaktusadṛ
śāni praklinnāni bhavanti | tair upadṛtaḥ sadāhaṃ sadṛṣitamavi
pakvam atisāryate | dāhajvarapipāsāś cāsyopadravā bhavanti | tannimittāny
eva pītanakhanaya
navadanamūtrapurīṣaś ca puruṣo bhavati |
śleṣmajāni mahāmūlāni sthirāṇi vṛttāni snigdhāni
pāṇḍuni śuklāvabhāsāni karīrapanasāsthigostanākānāṇi na
bhidyante na sravanti ca kaṇḍubahulāni ca bhavanti | tair upadṛtaḥ
saśleṣmakam analpam āmaṃvasā medaḥ | pra
kāśam atisāryate |
sobhūśītajvarārocakāvipākaśiro gauravagātu sadanāni yāsya tannimittāny
eva śuklanakhanayanavadanamūtrapurīṣavaṇṇaś ca
puruṣo bhavati

raktajāni tunyatrodha prarohavidruma
kākaṇantikāphalasadṛśāni pittalakṣaṇāni ceti | yadā tu
gāḍhapurīṣaprapīḍitāni bhava
nti | tad ātyarthaṃ duṣṭam analpam
asṛk sahasā visṛjanti | tasya cā ti pravṛttau śoṇitāti yogopadravāś
cāsya bhavanti ||
sannipātajāni sarvalakṣaṇayuktāni |
sahajāni duṣṭaśukraśoṇitanimittāni | teṣāṃ doṣata e va
prasādanaṃ kartavyaṃ | viśeṣataś cātra durdarśanāni paruṣāruṇa pāṇuni
dāruṇāny antarmukhāni
| tair upavidrutaḥ kṛṣo 'lpabhuk
sirāsantata gātro 'lpaprajaḥ kṣiṇaretaś ca bhavati ||
bhavati cātra | bāhyamadhyamayor dvalyoḥ pratikuryād
bhiṣakvaraḥ | valyāmasyantarāyāṃ tu
ni.2.17 parkupitāstu doṣā meḍhramabhiprapannā māṃsaśoṇite
pradūṣya kaṇḍūṃ janayanti tataḥ kaṇḍūyanāt kṣataṃ samupajāyate tasmiṃś ca
kṣate duṣṭamāṃsajāḥ prarohāḥ picchilalarudhirasrāviṇo jāyante kūrcakino
'bhyantaramupariṣṭādvā te tu śepho vināśayantyupaghnanti ca puṃstvaṃ
yonimabhiprapannāḥ sukumārān durgandhān picchilarudhirasrāviṇaśchatrākārān
karīrāñ janayanti te tu yonimupaghnantyārtavaṃ ca | nābhimabhiprapannāḥ
sukumārān durgandhān picchilān gaṇḍūpadamukhasadṛśān karīrāñ janayanti ta
evordhvamāgatāḥ śrotrākṣighrāṇavadaneṣvarśāṃsy upanirvartayanti tatra
karṇajeṣu bādhiryaṃ śūlaṃ pūtikarṇatā ca netrajeṣu vartmā varodho vedanā
srāvo darśananāśaś ca, ghrāṇajeṣu pratiśyāyo 'timātraṃ kṣavathuḥ
kṛcchrocchvāsatā pūtinasyaṃ sānunāsikavākyatvaṃ śiroduḥkhaṃ ca vaktrajeṣu
kaṇṭhauṣṭhatālūnāmanyatam asmiṃs tair gadgadavākyatā rasājñānaṃ mukharogāś
ca bhavanti ||
ni.2.18 vyānastu prakupitaḥ śleṣmāṇaṃ
parigṛhya bahiḥ sthirāṇi kīlavadarśāṃsi nirvartayati tāni carmakīlāny
arśāṃsīty ācakṣate ||
ni.2.19 bhavanti cātra--- teṣu kīleṣu
nistodo mārutenopajāyate | śleṣmaṇā tu savarṇatvaṃ granthitvaṃ ca vinirdiśet

ni.2.20 pittaśoṇitajaṃ raukṣyaṃ kṛṣṇatvaṃ
ślakṣṇatā tathā| samudīrṇakharatvaṃ ca carmakīlasya lakṣaṇam||
ni.2.21 arśasāṃ lakṣaṇaṃ vyāsāduktaṃ
sāmānyatas tu yat | tat sarvaṃ prāgvinirdiṣṭāt sādhayed bhiṣajāṃ varaḥ ||
ni.2.22 arśaḥsu dṛśyate rūpaṃ yadā
doṣadvayasya tu | saṃsargaṃ taṃ vijānīyāt saṃsargaḥ sa ca ṣaḍvidhiḥ ||
ni.2.23 tridoṣāṇyalpaliṅgāni yāpyāni tu
vinirdiśet | dvandvajāni dvitīyāyāṃ valau yāny āśritāni ca ||
ni.2.24 kṛcchrasādhyāni tāny āhuḥ
parisaṃvatsarāṇi ca | sannipātasamutthāni sahajāni tu varjayet ||
ni.2.25 sarvāḥ syur valayo yeṣāṃ
durnāmabhir upadrutāḥ | tais tu pratihato vāyur apānaḥ sannivartate ||
ni.2.26 tato vyānena saṅgamya jyotirmṛdgāti
dehinām ||
iti suśrutasaṃhitāyāṃ nidānasthāne 'rśonidānaṃ nāma dvitīyo
'dhyāyaḥ ||2 ||
tatra śleṣmāśmarī śleṣmalamannamabhyasato 'tyarthamupalipyādhaḥ
parivṛddhiṃ prāpya bastimukhamadhiṣṭhāya śroto nirupaṇaddhi | tasya
mūtrapratighātāddālyate bhidyate nistudya
ta iva ca bavastiguruḥ
ca bhavati | ūṣmarī cātra śvetā snigdhā mahatī kukkuṭāṇḍapratīmā madhuvarṇā
bhā bhavati | tāṃ ślaiṣmikīmiti vidyāta |
pittayuktastu śle
ṣmā saṃghātamupagamya
yathoktaṃ parivṛddhimprāpya bastimukha madhiṣṭhāya sroto niruṇaddhi |
tasya mūtrapratighātādūṣyate cūṣyate pacyate iva bastiruṣṇaś ca bhavati |
aśmarī cātra saraktā pītāvabhāsā kṛṣṇā bhallātakāpratimā

vātayuktastu śleṣmāsaṃghātamupagamya yathoktaṃ
parivṛddhimprāpya bastimukhamadhiṣṭhāya sroto niruṇaddhi | ta sya
mūtrapratīghātāttīvrā vedanā bhavati | tayā 'tyarthaṃ pīḍamāno dantān
khādanti nābhimpīḍayati
meḍhraṃ pramṛdgāti garddhayati vidahati |
vātamūtrapurīṣakṛcchrtāda bhavati | aśmarī cātra śyāvā viṣamā kharā paruṣā
kadambapuṣpavatkaṇṭakācitā bhavati | tāṃ vātikī
miti vidyāta ||
prāyeṇatās tisro 'śmaryo bhavanti |
divāsvapnasamāsanādhyāsanaśītasnigdhamadhurāhārapriyatvādbālānāṃ teṣām
evāvalpabastikāyatvād amāṃsopavayāc ca sukhagra haṇāharaṇāś ca bhavanti
| mahatān tu śukrāśmarī śukranimittā bhavati ||

anirgacchanvimārgamanilovigṛṣkavṛṣaṇayoranta re saṃharati saṃhṛtya
copaśoṣayati sāmūtramārgam āvṛtya mūtrakṛcchraṃ basti śirasi vedanāṃ śe
pasi muṣkayoś ca śvayathum utpādayati nipīḍitāmātre ca
ta sminnavakāśe pravilayam āpadyate | tāṃ śukrāśmarīm iti vidyāta ||
atha jātāsu vedanā sumū
tradhārā susaṅgaḥ sarudhira mūtravikiraṇaḥ

bhavati cā tra
sā bhinnamūrtidvārtena śarkkarety abhidhīyate ||

daurbalyaṃ sa danaṃ kārśyaṃ kukṣiśūlarocakam |

āmukhāt salile nyastaḥ pārśvebhyaḥ pratipūryate ||
nave ghaṭe yathā vaddhibastimūtrasya pūryate | etenaiva
ttu kalpena vātaḥ pittaṃka
pho 'pi vā |
mūtrayuktam upasnehān praviṣya kurute 'śmarīn || apsu
svacchā svapi yathā niṣiktāsu nave maṇau |
bhavet kālāntarāt paṅkaḥ tavdadaśmarisambhavaḥ
|| saṃhṛtyāpo yathā divyāṃ māruto 'gniś ca vaidyutaḥ ||
tadvad va lāsaṃ bastisthamuṣmā saṃhṛtya sānilaḥ ||

viguṇe bastau mūtraṃ samyagra varttate
| vikārā vividhāś cā pi pratilome bhavanti hīti ||

rāṇān nidānaṃ vyākhyāsyāmaḥ ||
vātapittaśleṣmasannipātāgantukanimittāḥ śataponakoṣṭragrīva

pañcabhagandarā bhavanti | te tu gudabastibhagapradeśadāraṇābhagandarā ity
ucyante |abhinnās tu piḍakā bhinnās tu
bhagandarāḥ ||
tatrāpathyasevināmvāyuḥ prakupitaḥ sanni vṛttaḥ
sthirībhūto gudamabhigato gudadvārādaṅgule dvyaṅgule aṅgule vā
māsaśoṇitamabhi
pradūṣyā ruṇavarṇṇāṃ piḍakāñjanayati |
sāsyatodādīn ve danāviśeṣānupajanayati | apratikriyamāṇā ca pākam upaiti
| mūtrāsayābhyāsagatatvā
c ca vraṇapraklinnaḥ
śataponakavadaṇumukhaiś chidrair āpūrya te | tāni cacchidrāṇy
ajasraṃbhenānuviddham āsrāvam pravahanti | vraṇaś chidyate bhidyate tāḍyate

cībhiriva nistudyate gudaś cāvadīryate
vātamūtrapurīṣa retasām apy āgamaś ca taicchidrair vati tambhagandaraṃ śataponakamityācakṣate ||
pittaṃ tu kupitam a
nilenādhaḥ preritaṃ pūrvvavad
evāvasthitaṃ raktān tanvīmucchritāgrāmuṣṭragrīvākārām piḍakāñ janayati |
sāsyadāhādīn vedanāviśeṣān upajanayati |
apratikriyamāṇā ca pākam upaiti |vraṇaś cāgnikṣārābhyām iva
dahyate durgandham uṣṇam āsrāvaṃ sravaty upekṣitaś ca vātamūtrapurīṣaretāṃsi
visṛjati taṃ bhagandaramu
ṣṭragrīvamityācakṣate ||

vāyuḥ prakupitaḥ
prakupitaumupittaśleṣmāṇauparigṛhyādhogatvā
pūrvvavadevasthitaḥ
pādāṅguṣṭhapramāṇāṃ sarvvaliṃgāmpiḍaktāñja nayanti | tesya
todadāhakaṇḍvādīn vedanāviśeṣān upajanayanty apratikriyamāṇāś ca pākaṃ
gacchanti | vraṇaś ca nānāvidhavarṇṇavedanā nānāvidhavarṇṇam
āsrāvaṃ sravati pūrṇṇanadīśambukāvarttavaccātrāsy uttiṣṭhati vedanāviśeṣāḥ|
taṃ bhagandaraṃ śambukāvartta mity ācakṣate ||
mūḍhena tu bhāṃsthiśalyam annam abhyavahṛtaṃ yad
āgāḍhapurīṣonmiśram apānenādhaḥ preritam asamyag āgataṃ gudaṃ kṣiṇoti |
tadā tatra kṣatanimittāṅgatir upajāyate || tasmi~ścakṣate
pūyaru dhirāvarṇṇaimāṃsakothe bhūmāviva jalapraklinnāyāṃ krimayaḥ
sañjāyate | te bhakṣayanto gudamaneka
dhā pārśvato 'vadārayanti
tasya taiś ca kṛmikṛtair mmārgair vvātamū trapurīṣaretatāṃsy
abhiprapadyante | tam bhagandaram unmārgiṇam ity ākṣate ||

tunduḥkhāḥ sarvvaeva bhagandarāḥ

vikṣipto niścarati tatra tatra maṇḍalāni bhavanti | tatra ca
parivṛddhimprāpyāpratikriyamāṇo bhyantaramanuprāptodhātūn

tasya ca pūrvvarūpāṇitvakpārūṣyamakasmādromaharṣaḥ
kaṇḍusvedabahutvaṃ suptatvamaṅgānāmasṛkkṛṣṇatā ca ||
tatra sapta mahākuṣṭhāni |
ekādaśakṣudrakuṣṭhāny
evam aṣṭādaśa bhavanti | te vā mahāku ṣṭhāny aruṇodumbara
aṣyojihvakapālakākaṇakapaṇḍurīkānidardṛkuṣṭhañceti kṣūdrakuṣṭhā
ni
tu sthūlāruṣkama ṣṭhaikakuṣṭhacarmmadalaṃ
parisarppo vi sarppasidhmaṃ vicarccikā kiṭimaṃ pāmā cakasā ceti ||
sarvvāṇi kuṣṭhāni savātāni sapittāni
saśleṣmāṇi
sakrimāṇi bhavanti |utpannasya tu grahaṇama bhi bhavānta ||
tra vātenāruṇaṃ|pittenaudumbaraṃ |aṣyajihvakapālakākaṇakāni
| śleṣmaṇā
puṇḍarīkaṃ dadṛkuṣṭhañcetyeṣāṃ tu mahatvaṃ
sarvvadhātvanusāri tvādasādhdhatvañceti |
tatra vātenārūṇavarṇṇāni tanūni visarppīṇi

nti || pakvodumbaravarṇṇāny audumbarāṇi

kṣiprotthā na prapākabheditvāni ca sāmānyāni | puṇḍarīkaprakāśāni
puṇḍarīkāny atasīpuṣpavarṇṇānitāmrā
ṇi vā visarppīṇi piḍakā
bhavanti dardṛkuṣṭhāni ca tayordvayo rapyutmannatā | parimaṇḍalatā
kaṇḍuścirotthānatvañceti ||
kṣudrakuṣṭhāny ata ūrdhvaṃ vakṣyāmaḥ| aruḥku
ṣṭhe
sthūlamūlāny aruṃṣi saṃjāyaṃte sandhiṣu dāruṇāni | mahākumaṣṭhe sarvvadehe
bhavanti tvakkocaḥ bhedāṅgadāhāḥ||
kṛtsne dehe yasya kṛṣṇo ruṇovātaccaikāravyaṃ
kuṣṭhamā sukaṣṭaṃ | kaṇḍucoṣautodahau tu yasya kāle cā smin
carmmadalamvadanti |
vaisarpyaḥ syātsarvvataḥ sarpyate tu
tvagraktadīn vyāpya bhāvān suśīghraṃ ||
yasmin sphoḍāsrāvavantastamāhnaḥ pārīsarpyanta nauḥ
sarppamāṇaṃ | svacchasvetapkaṃṇḍumaccāpibhiṣmaṃ
paridhvaṃsimrāyasaścordvakāye |
pāṇau pādau dāruṇau yasya rukṣaiśovākaṇaḍuḥsāvicarcciḥ pradiṣṭhā |
vaipādyākhyaḥ pādayoścāvadīrṇṇu
saivārthajñestīvrakaṇḍusadāhaḥ| kṛṣṇaṃ kaṇḍummaṇlaṃ kaṇḍarañcaḥ śyāmopetaṃ

kṛcchrāṇy arddhāni vā yasmin pūrvvarūpāṇi mānave | pravṛttaṃ mūtram atyarthaṃ taṃ pramehiṇam ādiśet ||
piḍakāpīḍitaṃ gāḍham upasṭaṣṭam upadravaiḥ | madhumehiṇam
ācaṣṭe sa cāsādhyatamaḥ syāteḥ||
sa cāpi gamanāt sthānaṃ sthānād āsa
nam eva ca |
āsanād vṛṇute śayyāṃ śayane svapnam icchati ||
yathā śuklādivarṇṇānām pañcānām utkarṣāpakarṣakṛtena
saṃyogaviśeṣeṇa svetababhṛkapilakapota
mecakādīnāṃ
varṇṇānāmanekeṣām utpattir bhavati | evameva
do ṣadhātumalāhāraviśeṣeṇotkarṣāpakarṣakṛtena saṃyogaviśeṣeṇa pramehanān
ākaraṇam bhavati ||
bhavati cātra || sarvva eva pramehās tu
kālenāpratikāriṇaḥ madhumehatvam āyānti tadā sādhyā bhavanti iti

vadanti | āgantukaṃ saptamam aṣṭaman tu dakodaraṃ caiva bhavanti tāni ||
sudurbbalāgnerahitāśanasya vṛddhiṃ gatatāḥ
koṣṭham abhiprapannāḥ ||
gulmākṛtivyañjanalakṣaṇāni kurvvanti ghorāṇyudarāṇi doṣāḥ

snigdhammahattatparivṛttanābhiḥ samātatampūrvvamivāmbunā
ca | yathā dṛtikṣubhyati kampate ca śabdāyate cāpi dakodarantat ||
adhuno gamaneśaktirddaubbalyandurbbalāgnitā | śophaḥ
sadanamaṅga nāṃ saṃgovātapurīṣayoḥ|| dāhatandrī ca mūrcchā ca jaṭhareṣu
bhavanti hi |

daurbbalyameva ca | mūdraprahaḥ pārśvaśūlaṃ svarabhedapramūḍhatā
| bhi kkāśvosaś ca kāsaś ca aruciścāpyupadravāḥ ||

pārśvabastiśiraudarayoniśūlānāhamūtrasadgānāpādyagarbhaspracyāvayati |
taruṇaṃ śoṇitabhāvena kadā cid
vivṛddhamasamyagāgatamapatyapathamanuprāptamanirgacchantamapānavai
guṇya sammohitaṅgarbhaṃ mūḍhagarbham ity ākṣate ||
sakīlaḥ pratikhuro bījakaḥ parigha iti caturvvidho
mūḍhagarbho bhavatīty eke bhāṣante || ya ūrdhvaṃ śiraḥpādābhyāṃ yonimukhan

ruṇaddhi kīla iva sakīlaḥ|
niḥsṛtahastapādaśiraḥkāyaśa ktaḥ sapratikhuraḥ| yastunirgacchatiśiro

ābhugnaśiraḥsphide śenatiryagāgataḥ | kaścid
udarapārśvapṛṣṭhānāmanyatamena yonidvāram pidhāya tiṣṭhati | kaścid e
kena bāhunā pārśvāpavṛttaśirā | kaścid ābhugnaśirābāhudvayena |
kaścid ābhugnamadhyohastapādaśirobhiḥ| kaścid ekena
sakthnāyonimabhiprapadyāpareṇapāyum ity aṣṭavidhā mūḍhagarbhagatir uddiṣṭā samāsena |
tatra dvāvantyau mūḍhagarbhāvasādhyau śeṣeṣvapi
viparītendriyārtha
sākṣepakayonibhraṃsasamvaraṇasakkalaśvāsakāsabhramanipī
ḍitaॉṃś ca pariharet ||
bhavanti cātra ślokāḥ|| kālasya pari māṇena
muktavṛttādyathāphalaṃ | prapadyate svabhāvena nānyathā pṛthivītalaṃ ||
evaṃ kālaprakarṣe
ṇa mukto nāḍīnivambandhanāt |
garbhāsayastho hi garbho jananā ya prapadyate ||
krimivātābhighātais tu tad evopadrutamphalaṃ |
patatyakālepi yathā tathā syād garbha
vicyutiḥ||
ācaturthāntato māsātprasṛte garbhavicyutaḥ | tataḥ
sthiraśarīrasya pādaḥ pañcamaṣaṣṭhayoḥ ||
apaviddhaśarīrātu śītāṅgīnirapatrapā |
nīloddhatasirāhanti mā garbhansacatāḥpūnaḥ ||
garbhāspa ndanamāvīnāmpraṇāśaḥ śyāvapāṇḍutā | bhaved
ucchvāsapūtitvaṃ śūlaścāntarmmṛte śiśau ||

nasāgantubhir mmāturupatāpaiḥ prapīḍitaḥ |
garbho vyāpadyate kukṣau vyādhibhiś ca nipīḍitaḥ ||
kukṣau māturvvipannāyā garbhaḥ praspandatestriyāḥ|
janmakāle muhurttāttaṃ pāṭayitvoddharecchiśuṃ ||
yadā so 'ntarmmṛto garbhaḥ śunobastirivātataḥ | tenāvṛtā
ca nāryas tu kukṣisunnahyate bhṛśaṃ ||
utkṣipya iva cāṅgāni mūtrabastiś ca vidyate |
klomaplīhāyakṛc caiva phuphphusaṃ hṛdayantathā || garbheṇa
pīḍi tāhyeta dūrdhvamprakrāmati striyāḥ | sā sūyate muhyati ca
kṛcchrocchvāsā ca jāyate ||

savidrādhiritikhyāte | vijñeyaḥ ṣaḍvidhaś ca yaḥ ||
pṛthagdoṣaiḥ samastaiś ca kṣatenāpyasṛjā tathā | ṣaṇṇāmapi
hi teṣāntu lakṣaṇaṃ sampravakṣyate ||
kṛṣṇoruṇo vā paruṣo bhṛṣamatyarthavedanaḥ |
kṣiprotthānaprapākaś ca vidradhirvvātasaṃbhavaḥ ||
pakvodumbarasaṃkāśaḥ śyāvo vā jvaradāhavān |
kṣiprotthānaprapākaś ca vidradhiḥ pittasaṃbha

sarāvasadṛśaḥ pāṇḍuḥ śītaḥ snigdhālpavedanaḥ |

tanupītasitāścaiṣāmāsrāvāḥ kramaśaḥ

nānāvarṇṇarujāsrāvo ghāṭālo viṣamo mahān ||
viṣamampacyate cāpi vidradhiḥ sānnipātikaḥ | tais tair bhāvair
abhihate kṣate vā pathyasevina

kṣatoṣmā vāyurvvisṛtaḥ saraktampittamīrayet |
jvarastṛ ṣṇā ca dāhaś ca jāyate cāsya dehinaḥ ||

ṣṇasphoṭāvṛtaḥ śyāvastīvradāharujājvaraḥ ||

liṃgāni bāhya
vidradhi lakṣaṇṇaiḥ ||
āmapakveṣaṇīyācca pakvā pakvamvi bhāvayet |
adhiṣṭhāna viśeṣeṇa liṃgaṃ śṛṇu viśeṣataḥ ||
gude vātanirodhastu kṛcchrā
lpamūtratā | nābhyāṃ
hikkā tathāṭopaḥ kukṣau mārutakopanaṃ ||
kaṭīpṛṣṭagrahastīvro vaṃkṣaṇotthe tu vidradhau | vṛkkayoḥ

sarvvāṅgapragrahastīvro hṛdikāsaś ca jāyate | śvāso
vā yakṛti tṛṣṇā klomni pepīyate 'pyapaḥ ||
āmo vā yadi pakvo vā mahānvā yadi vetaraḥ | sa
rvvo marmmotthitatvāstu vidradhiḥ kaṣṭa ucyate ||
nābherūpa rijāto yo marmmābhyāse ca vidradhiḥ | yaḥ
pakvaḥ so 'pyasādhyaḥ syādyaścorddhamudarve tathā ||
nābherūparijāḥ pakvā yāntyurdhvamitaretvadhaḥ |
adhaḥ sṛteṣu jīvettu sṛteṣūrdhvannajīvati ||
hṛdbastinābhivarjyā ye teṣu bhinneṣu bāhyataḥ |
jīvetkadācitpuruṣo netareṣu kadācana ||
strīṇāmavaprajātānāmprajātānāntathā hitaiḥ | dāhajvarakaro
ghoro jāyate raktavidradhiḥ ||
strīṇām mithyo prajātānām asṛkk apy ādaniḥ
sṛtāṃ | raktaja mvidradhiṅ kuryāt kukṣau makkalasaṃjñitaṃ |
saptāhātnopaśāntaś cet tataḥ sampratipacyate || viśe
ṣamatha vakṣyāmi spaṣṭam vidradhigulmayoḥ ||
kasmāt na pacya te gulmo vidradhiḥ pākameti ca |
nanibandho 'sti gulmānām vidradhiḥ sanibandhanaḥ ||

caro gulmapsubudbudakopamaḥ | evam
prakāro gulmas tu tasmāt pākan na gacchati ||

bhramo 'dgamarddovair asyaṃ kāṇṭavyammadhucāsyatā || muhurmmuhus

dhavarṇṇarujāvagāḍhaḥ pakvo na sidhyati sa māṃsasirāpraṇā śāt |
sadyaḥkṣatamvraṇam upetya narasya raktaṃ pittañ ca
doṣabahulasya karoti śophaṃ || śyāvaṃ salo-
hitam
atijvaradāhapākaḥ sphoṭaiḥ kulatthasadṛśair asitaiś ca kīrṇṇaṃ ||
siddhyanti vātakaphapittakṛtā visarppāḥ sarvvātmakaḥ kṣatakṛtaś ca na
siddhim eti || pittātmakoñjanavapuś ca yadā tad āsyāt kṛcchrāc ca marmmasu
bhavanti hi savva eva |
yaḥ śopham īkṣati supakkvam apakkvasañjī yo vā vraṇaṃ
pra
curapūyam asādhuvṛttaḥ | abhyantaraṃ praviśati pravidārya
tasya sthānāni pūrvvavihitāni tataḥ sa pūyaḥ |
tasyātimātragamanād gatir ity ata s tu nāḍī ca yad vahati te
na matā tu nāḍī || doṣais
tribir bh bhavati yā pṛthag ekaśaś ca sa ṃmūrcchitair
api ca śalyanimittato nyā |
tatrānilāt paruṣasūkṣmamukhī saśūlā
phenānuviddhamadhi
kaṃ sravati kṣapāsu ||
pittāt tu tṛdkarakarī paridāhayuktā pī taṃ sravaty
adhikam uṣṇam ahassu cāpi |
jñeyā kaphādbahughanārjjunapicchilāsrā sta sakaṇḍuraru-
jārajanī pravṛddhāḥ || ||
dāhajvaraś ca sanamūrcchanavaktraśoṣā ya syā
bhavanty abhihitāni ca lakṣaṇāni | tām ādiśet pavanapittakaphaprakopād
ghorāṅgatittvasuha-
rām iva kālarātriṃ ||
naṣṭaṅ kathañcid aṇumārggam udīriteṣu sthāneṣu śalyam
acireṇa gatiṅ karoti | sā phenilaṃ mathitamaccham asṛgvimiśram uṣṇaṃ karoti
sahasā su sarujañ ca nityaṃ ||
yāvantyo gatayaś caiva kāraṇaiḥ saṃbhavanti hi |
tāvantyaḥ stanarogās tu tair eva ca bhavanti ha ||
dhamanyas saṃvṛtadvārāḥ kanyānāṃ stanasaṃśritāḥ |
doṣā-
gatitvāt tāsāṃ hi stanarogān asantyataḥ ||
tāsām eva prajātā nāṅ garbhbhiṇīnāñ ca
tāḥ punaḥ | svabhāvād eva vivṛtā jāyante
saṃbha taḥ ||

kṛtsnād dehāt stanau prāpya stanyam ity abhidhīya te

viṣaśa steṣv api gātreṣu

bdāt sparśanād vāpi saṃharṣāc ca pravarttate |

yam bhaved vātāt kṣiptañ ca plavate mbhasi ||
pittād amlaṃ sakaṭukaṃ rājyambhasi ca pītikā | śleṣmād
ghanam picchilañ ca jale cāpy avasīdati || sarvvair duṣṭaṃ sarvvaliṅgam
abhighātāc ca du- ṣyati |
sakṣīro vā py adugdho vā doṣaḥ prāpya stanau striyāḥ |
pradūṣya māṃsarudhira stanarogāya kalpate |
ṣaṇṇām api ca teṣāṃ hi raktajam vidradhim vinā ||

mānāni bāhyavidradhilakṣaṇair iti ||
prabhañjanakadurnnāmā bhagadāraṇaṃ |
kuṣṭhapramehaja ḍhagarbhbhañ ca vidradhiṃ ||

mmatsyāṇḍajālapratimais tathānyaiḥ
ananyavarṇair upacīyamānaṃ
cayaprakarṣād apaciṃ vadanti ||
kaṇḍvanvitās te lparujā prabhinnāḥ sravanti naśyanti
bhavanti cānye | medaḥkaphābhyāṃ khalu roga eṣa
sudustaro varṣagaṇānubandhī ||
gātrapradeśe kvacid eva doṣāḥ saṃmūrcchitā māṃsam
asṛkpradūṣya | vṛttaṃ mṛdum
mandarujam mahāntam analpamūlañ ciravṛddhyapākaṃ ||
kurvvanti māṃsocchrayam abhyagādhan tam arvvudaṃ
śāstravido vadanti | vātena pittena kaphena cāpi raktena māṃ
sena ca medasā ca ||
yajjāyate tasya ca lakṣaṇāni grantheḥ
sa māna ni sadā bhavanti | doṣā praduṣṭā rudhiraṃ sirāsu sakuñcya sampiṇḍya
tatas tv apākaṃ ||

vamunnahyati mānsapiṇḍam māṃsāṅkurair
ācitam āśu ghoraṃ | sravaty ajasraṃ rudhiram praduṣṭam asādhyam etad

rvbhavet so 'rvvudapīḍitas tu | muṣṭiprahārādibhir arddite ṅge

| praduṣṭamānsasya narasya gāḍham etad bhavet
mānsaparāyaṇasya ||
māṃsārvvudaṃ tv etad asādhyam uktaṃ sādhyeṣv apīmāni

srotassu vā yac ca bhaved acālyaṃ ||
> yajjāyate 'nyat khalu pūrvvajāte jñeyan tad
adhyarvvudam arbudajñaiḥ | yad dvandvajātaṃ yugapat kramād vā dvir arvvudan tac ca bhaved asādhyam ||
na pākam āyānti kaphānvitatvān medovahutvāc ca viśeṣatas
tu | doṣasthiratvād grathanāc ca teṣāṃ sarvvārvvudā

jāter ukca praśāmyati || hānavye paścime dante mahāśophomahārujaḥ |
lālāsrāvī kaphakṛto jñeyaḥ so 'dhikamāṃsakaḥ || dantamūlagatā nāḍyaḥ pañca jñeyā yathoditāḥ ||
dantagatās tu dālanaḥ krimidanta kodanta harṣo
bhañjanakaḥ |
dantaśarkkarā | kapālikā |
śyā vadantaḥ | hanur mmokṣaś ce ti ||
dāryamāṇeṣv ivarujā yasya danteṣu jāyate | dālanonāma
savyādhiḥ sadāgatinimittaja
ḥ |
kṛṣṇaścchidraś ca calati sasaṃrambho mahārujaḥ |
animi ttarujovātātsajñeya ḥ krimidantakaḥ ||
śītamuṣṇañ ca daśanāḥ sahante sparśanan na ca | yasya tad
danta
harṣan tu vyādhim vidyāt samīraṇāt ||
vaktram vakram bhaved yasya da ntabhaṅgaś ca jāyate |
kaphavātakṛto vyādhiḥ sa bhañjanakasaṃjñitaḥ ||
śarkkar eva sthirībhūto malo dante
ṣu yasya vai
| sā dantānāṃ guṇaharī vijñeyā dantaśarkkarā ||
ka pāleṣv iva dīryatsudantānāṃ saiva śarkkarā |
kapāliketi paṭhitā sadā dantavināśinī ||

ṇmiśreṇa pittena dagdhodantas tv aśeṣataḥ |
śyāvatān nīlatām vāpi gataḥ sa śyāvadantakaḥ ||
vātena tais tairbbhāvaiś ca hanusandhivisaṅgataḥ |
hanurmmokṣa iti jñeyo vyādhi r ardditalakṣaṇaḥ ||
jihvāgatās tu | kaṇṭakās trividhās tribhir
ddoṣaira lāsa upajihvā ceti ||
jihvānilena sphuṭitā prasuptā bhavec ca
śākacchadanaprakāśā | pittātsadāhair anucī
yate ca dīrghaiḥ
saraktair apikaṇṭakaiś ca || kaphena gurvvī bahalā ci tā ca
mān sāṅkuraiḥ śālmalikaṇṭakau bhai bhaiḥ |
adhogato yaḥ śvayathuḥ pragāḍhaḥ so 'lāsasaṃjñaḥ
kapharaktamūrttiḥ || jihvāṃ sa tu stambhayate pravṛddho mūle ca ji hvā
bhṛśam eti pākaṃ |
jihvāgrarūpaḥ śvayathur hi jihvām unnāmya jātaḥ
kapharaktamūlaḥ ||

karaḥ kaṇḍuyutaḥ sa coṣaḥ sātupajihvā
paṭhitā bhiṣagbhiḥ | |
tālugatās tu || galaśuṇḍikā tuṇḍikerī adhruṣaḥ kacchapaḥ
| arbbudaḥ | mānsasaṃghātaḥ | tālu pu
ppuṭakaḥ | tāluśoṣaḥ |

kaphāsṛgbhyāntālu mūlātpravṛddho dīrghaḥ
śophodhmātabastiprakāśaḥ | tṛṣṇākāsaḥ śvāsakṛttam vadanti vyādhim vaidyā
galaśuṇḍe ti nāmnā ||
śophaḥ sthūlastodadāha prapākī prāguktābhyāṃ
tuṇḍikerīmatā tu | mṛduḥ śopho lohitottho jñeyo 'dhruṣaḥ sajvaras tīvra ruk
ca ||
kūrmmonnato vedanā' śīghrajanmā rogo jñeyaḥ
kacchapaḥ śleṣmaṇā tu || padmākaran tālumadhye tu śophaṃ tam vidyād
raktārbbudaṃ proktaliṃ gaṃ |
māṃsannirujan tālumadhye kaphāt tu prokto vaidyair
mmāṃsa
saṃghāta eṣaḥ || arukchi raḥ
kolamātraḥ kaphena samedasāpu ppuṭas tāludeśe |
śuṣyaty atyarthan dīryate cāpi tāluśvāsaś
caivograstā luśoṣo 'nilāt tu ||

kuryāt pākam atyarthaghoraṃ tāluny evan tālupākam vada nti ||
kaṇṭhagatās tu || rohiṇyaḥ pañca | kaṇṭhaśālūkam
adhijihvāṃ valayaḥ | alāsaḥ | ekavṛnda

śataghnī | gilāyuḥ | galavidradhiḥ | galaughaḥ | svaraghnaḥ |
māṃsatānovicāriś ceti ||
gale 'nilaḥ pittakaphau tu mūrcchitau
pradūṣya māṃsañ ca tathaiva śoṇitaṃ
|
galo pasaṃrodhakarais tathāṅkurair nihantyas unvyādhir
ayaṃ hi rohiṇī ||
jihvā samantād bhṛśavedanān tu mānsāṅkuraiḥ
kaṇṭhanirodhinīyā | tāṃ rohiṇīm vātakṛ
tām vadanti tisraś ca
tās tvād ita eva kṛcchrā ||
kṣiprodgamā kṣipravidāhapākās tīvrajvarā pittanimittajā
tu | sroto nirodhinyacalonnatā ca sthirāṅkurā yā kaphasaṃbhavā sā ||
gambhīrapākiny anivāravīryā tridoṣaliṅgā
tritayotthitaṃ tu | sphoṭaiś citā pittasamānaliṃgāsādhyā pradiṣṭā
rudhirātmikā tu ||
kolāsthimātraḥ kaphasaṃbhavo yo granthir gale
kaṇṭa kaśūkabhūtaḥ | kharaḥ sthiraḥ
śastranipātasādhyas tat kaṇṭa śālūkam iti bruvanti ||
jihvāgrarūpaḥ śvayathuḥ kaphāt tu
jihvopariṣṭādapiraktamiśraḥ | jñeyo 'dhi
jihvā khalu roga eṣa
vivarjjayed āgatapākam enaṃ ||
balāsa e vāyatam unnatañ ca śophaṃ karoty annagatin
nivārya |taṃ sarvvathaivāprativāravīryam vivarjjanīyam
valayam va
danti ||
gale tu śophaṅkurutaḥ pravṛddhau śleṣmānilau
śvāsaru jopapannaṃ | marmmacchidan dustaram etad āhur alāsasaṃjñan
nipuṇādhikāraṃ ||
vṛttonnatāntaḥ śvayathuḥ sa
dāhaḥ
saka kaṇḍuro 'pāvya gururm mṛduś ca
| nāmnaikavṛndaḥ parikī rtyate 'sau vyādhir bbalāsakṣatajaḥ prasūtaḥ ||
samu nnatamvṛttam
amandadāhantīvrajvaraṃ vṛndam udāharanti
| tac cāpi
pittakṣatajaprakopāj jñeyaṃ satodam pavanātmakan tu ||
varttir ghanā kaṇṭhanirodhanī tu citātimātram
piśitaprarohaiḥ | anekarukprāṇaharī tridoṣāj jñeyā śataghnīti
śataghnirūpā ||
granthirggale tv āmalakāsthimātraḥ sthiro
'lparukya ḥ kaphapittamūrttiḥ | yo lakṣyate raktam
ivāsravaś ca saśasrasādhdha stu gilāyusaṃjñaḥ ||
sarvvaṅgalaṃ vyāpya sa
mutthito yaḥ śopho rujāḥ
santi ca yatra sarvvā | sa sarvvadoṣai r ggalavidradhis tu tasyaiva
tulyaḥ khalu sarvvajasya ||
śopho mahāntan na jalāvarodhī tīvrajvaro vā
yugater nnihantā | kaphena jāto rudhirānvitena gale galaugha ḥ paṭhito
bhiṣagbhiḥ ||
yas tāmyamānaḥ śvasiti prasaktam bhinnasvaraḥ
śuṣkavimuktakaṇṭhaḥ | kaphopadi
ṣṭeṣv anilāyateṣu jñeyaḥ sa rogaḥ
śvasanāts varaghnaḥ ||
pratā navān yaḥ śvayathuḥ sukaṣṭo | galoparodhān
kurute krameṇa | sa mānsatān eti bibhartti saṃjñāprāṇa
praṇutsarvvakṛto vikāraḥ ||
sadāhatodaṃ śvayathuṃ satāmram anta rggale
pūtiviśīrṇṇamānsaṃ | pittena vidyād vadane vicārim pārśve viśeṣāt sa tu yena
śete ||
sarvva sarās tu
vātapittakaphanimittāḥ ||
sphoṭaiḥ satodair vvadanaṃ samantād yasyācitaṃ
sarvvasaraḥ savātāt | raktaiḥ sadāhaiḥ piṭakaiḥ sapītaiḥr yasyācitaṃ cāpi
sapittako pāt ||
avedanaiḥ kaṇḍuyutaiḥ satodair yasyācitaṃ cāpi sa vai
kaphena ||
|| iti mukharoganidāne ṣoḍaśamaḥ ||
