athāto vātavyādhinidānaṃ vyākhyāsyāmaḥ || dhanvantarir dharmabhṛtām variṣṭham amṛtodbhavañ caraṇāv upasaṃgṛhya suśrutaḥ paripṛcchati || vāyoḥ prakṛtibhūtasya vyāpannasya ca bhūpate | sthānaṃ rogavibhāgañ ca vadasva vadatām varaḥ || tasya tad vacanaṃ śrutvā jagāda bhagavāṃn ṛṣiḥ | svayambhūr eṣa bhagavāṃ vāyur ity abhiśabditaḥ || svātantryān nityabhāvāc ca sarvagatvāt tathaiva ca | sarveṣām eva sarvātmā sarvalokanamaskṛtaḥ || sthityutpattivināśeṣu bhūtānām eṣa kāraṇaṃ | avyakto vyaktakarmā ca śīto rokṣo laghuś caraḥ || tiyaggo dviguṇaś caiva rasa vahula eva ca | acintyavīryo doṣāṇāṃ netā rogasamūharāṭa || āśukārī muhuścārī pakvādhānagudālayaḥ || dehe vicaratas tasya lakṣaṇāni nivodha me || indriyārthopasampattir doṣadhātvagni sāmyatāṃ | kriyāṇām anulomyañ ca kuryād vāyur adūṣitaḥ || yathāgniḥ pañcadhā bhinno nāmasthānātmakarmabhiḥ bhinnonilas tasthā hy eko nāmasthānokriyāmayaiḥ || prāṇodānaḥ samānaś ca vyānopānas tathaiva ca | sthānasthā mārutāḥ pañca yāpayanti śarīriṇaṃ | yo nilo vaktrasañcārī sa prāṇo nāma dehadhṛk | sonnam praveśayatyantaḥ prāṇāṃś cāpy avalamvate || prāyaśaḥ kurute ś cāpi hikkāśvāsādikāṃ gadān | udāno nāma yorhyūrdhvam upaiti pavanottamaḥ || tena bhāṣitagītādiviśeṣobhipravartate | ūrdhvajatrugatrāngoti ca viśeṣataḥ || āmapakvāśayacaraḥ samānognisahāyavān || annam pacati tajjāṃś ca bhāvām pravivinakti saḥ || gulmāgnisaṃgātīsārān prāyaśaś ca karoti hi || kṛtsnadehacaro vyāno rasasamvahanodyataḥ | svedāsṛksrāvaṇaś cāpi sarvvathā ceṣṭayaty api | kruddhaś ca kurute rogān prāyaśaḥ sarvadehagān || pakvādhānālayopānaḥ kāle karṣayati | sthāya kadācid dhastayor api | ākhād viṣam iva kruddhaṃ tadeham anusarpati || ajantusphuṭitaṃ yac ca prabhinnam prasrutañ ca yat | vātaraktam asādhyan tad yāpyaṃ samvatsarosita || yadā tu dharmanīḥ sarvāḥ kupitebhyeti mārutaḥ | tadākṣipatyāśu muhurmuhur dehaś mumuśvaraḥ || muhurmuhustadākṣipaṇād ākṣepaka iti smṛtaḥ || yato patāmyate tyarthamato jñeyo patānakaḥ || kaphānvito bhṛśaṃ vāyustāsveva yadi tiṣṭhati || sa daṇḍavat stambhayati sa tu daṇḍāpatānakaḥ || dhanutulyan namedyastu sa dhanutambhasañjñataḥ | aṅgulīgulphajaṭharahṛdakṣogalasaṃśritaṃḥ || snāyupranāninilā yadākṣipati vegavān | viṣṭabdhākṣastavdhahanur bhagnapārśvaḥ kaphaṃ vaman || abhyantaraṃ dhanur iva yadā nāmyeti mānavaḥ | tadā sobhyantarāyā kurute māruto valī || vāhyasnāyupratānastho vāhyāyāmaṅ karoti ca | tamasādhyaṃ vudhāḥ prāhur vakṣaḥ kayūrubhañjana || kaphapittānvito vāyur vāyur eva ca kevalaḥ | kuryāt kṣepakam tv anyañ caturtham abhighātaja || garbhapātanimittaś ca śoṇitāti sravāc ca yaḥ | abhighātanimittaś ca na sidhyaty apatānakaḥ || adhogamāś cordhvagaś ca tiryagāś cānilo valī | yadātyartham prakupito dhamanīḥ pratipadyate || tadānyatapakṣasya sandhivannya mokṣayet | hanti pakṣan tamāhuś ca pakṣāghātaṃ bhiṣagv ā a rāḥ || tasya kṛtsnaṃ śarīrārddham akarmaṇyam acetana | tataḥ patatyasūn vāpi tyajatyanilapīḍitaḥ || dāhasantāpamūrcchā syur vāyau pittasamanvite | saitya śopha gurutvañ ca tasminn eva kaphānvite || śuddhavātāhatam pakṣaṃ kṛcchraṃ sādhyatamam viduḥ | sādhyam anyena saṃsṛṣṭam asādhyaṃ kṣayahetukaṃ || garbhiṇīsūtikāvālavṛddhakṣīṇeṣv a sṛk śrute | pakṣāghātaṃ pariharet vedanā rahitaṃ yadi || uccair vyāharatoty arthaṃ khādataḥ kaṭhināni vā || hasato jṛmbhato bhārāt śayandviṣamād api || arddayitvānilo vakram arditañ janayatyataḥ | vakrībhavati vakrādhaṃ grīvā cāpy apavartate || śiraś calati vākbhaṃgo netrādīnāñ ca vaikṛtaṃ || grīvācivukadantānāṃ tasmin pārśve ca vedanā || tam arditam iti prāhur vyādhivicakṣaṇāḥ | kṣīṇasyānimiṣākṣasya prasaktāvyaktabhāṣiṇaḥ || na sidhyaty arditaṃ vāḍhaṃ trivarṣam vepanasya ca | pārṣṇipratyaṅgulīnā yāṅ kaṇḍarā yānilārditā || sakthnaḥ kṣepan nagṛhṇāti gṛdhrasīti ca sā smṛtāḥ | talam pratyaṅgulīnāṃ tu kaṇḍarā vāhupṛṣṭhataḥ || vāhvoḥ karmakṣayakarī viśvaś cītī hi socyate | vātaśoṇitajaḥ śopho jānumadhye mahārujaḥ || jñeyaḥ kroṣṭukaśīrṣeti sthūlaḥ kroṣṭukaśīrṣavat | vāyuḥ kaṭyāśritam sakthnaḥ kaṇṭharāmākṣipedyadā || khañjastadā bhavej jantuḥ paṅguḥ sakthnordvayor vadhāt | prakāman vepate jantuḥ khaṃjanniva ca gacchati || kalāyakhanjaṃ tam vidyān muktasandhipravandhana | nyaste tu viṣame pāde rujaṃ kuryāt samīraṇaḥ || vātakaṇṭakaḥ ity eṣa jāyate khaḍukāśrayaḥ | pādayoḥ kurute dāhaṃ pittasṛk sahitonilaḥ || viśeṣatas caṃkramataḥ pādadāhan tamādiśet | hṛṣyate caraṇau yasya bhaveyātāñ ca suptakau || pādaharṣaḥ sa vijñeyaḥ kaphavātaprakopajaḥ | aṃsadeśasthito vāyuḥ śoṣayatet savandhanaṃ || sirāś cākuñcya tatrastho janayatyavavāhuka | yadā śabdavaham vāyuḥ srotre āvṛtya tiṣṭhati || śuddhaśleṣmānvito vāpi vādhiryan te na jāyate | āvṛtya vāyum sakapho dhamanīḥ śabdavāhinīḥ || narāṃ karotyakri ya kām mūkamnmiraṅ ga | adho yā vedanā yāti varcomūtrāśayotthitā || bhindatīva gudopasthaisā tūnī nāma nāmataḥ | gudopasthotthitā saiva pratilomaṃ pradhāvitāḥ || vegaiḥ pakvāśayaṃ yāvat pratitūnīti sā smṛtāḥ | sāṭopam aty ugrarujaṃ ādhmānam udaraṃ bhṛṣaṃ || ādhmānan tam vijānīyād ghoraṃ vātanirodhajaṃ | vimuktapārśvahṛdayaṃ tad evāmāśayotthitaṃ || pratyādhmānam vijānīyāt kaphavyākulitānilaṃ || nābher adhastāt saṃjātaḥ saṃcārī yadi vā'calaḥ aṣṭhīlā vaṃ dhanagranthi urdham āyatam unnataṃ || vātāṣṭhīlām vijānīyād bahir mārgāvarodhinīṃ | etām eva rujāyuktāṃ vātavitrarodhinī || pratyaṣṭhīlam iti vadajjaṭhare tirgutthitām iti || nidāne || 1 || || ❈ ||
athātorśasān nidāṃ vyākhyāsyāmaḥ || ṣaḍarṣāṃsi bhavanti vātapittakaphaśoṇitasannipātas sahajāni ceti | tatrānātmavatāṃ yathoktair prakopanair prakupitā doṣās ekaikaśaḥ śaḥ sa ma stāḥ śoṇitasahitā vā ya thoktaṃ prasṛtāḥ viṣesato mandāgnaṃḥ pradhānadhamanīr anuprapadhyādho gatvā gudamā gamya pradūṣya gudāvalīr māṃsaprarohā ja nayanti tāny arṣāsīty ācakṣate | tatra lāntraprativaddham arddhapaṃcāṅgulaṅ gudam āhus tasmin valayastisrodhyarddhāṅgulāntarasambhūtāḥ | pravāhaṇī visṛjanī samvaraṇī ceti | romāntebhyo yavādhyardho gudauṣṭha | prathamā tu gudauṣṭhādaṅgulamātre teṣān tu bhaviṣyatāṃ pūrvvarūpāṇi | anne na śraddhā kṛcchāt pakti viṣṭambhaḥ || sakthisadanam āṭopaḥ kārśyam udgāravāhulyam akṣṇośvayathur gudaparikarttanaṃ kāsaśvāsaḥ pāṇḍurogagrahaṇīdoṣaḥ | kadācit candrā valahānir indriyadaurvalyaṃ ceti | jāteṣv etān eva liṅgāni pravyaktatarāṇi bhavanti | tatra mārutāt pariśuṣkāruṇavarṇāni viṣa ma dhyāmāni kadamvapuṣpatuṇḍikerikānāḍīmukhasūcīmukhākṛtīni tair upadrutaḥ saśūlaṃ saṃhatam upaveśyate | kaṭīpṛṣṭhagudameḍhreṣu cāsya vedanā gulmāṣṭhīlāplīhodarāṇi cāsya tan nimittān eva kṛṣṇanakhanayanavadanamūtrapurīṣavarṇṇaś ca puruṣo bhavati || pinīlāgrāṇi manūni visarppīṇi pītāvabhāsāni yakṛt prakāśāni śukajihvāsaṃsthānāni yavamadhyāni jalaukovakra sadṛśāni praklinnāni bhavanti | tair upadrutaḥ sadāhaṃ sarudhiram avipakvam atisāryate | dāhajvarapipāsāmūrchyopadravā bhavanti | tan nisiny eva pītanakhanayanavadanamūtrapurīṣarvarṇṇapuruṣo bhavati || śleṣmajāni mahāmūlāni sthirāṇi vṛttāni snigdhāni pāṃḍūni mulāvatāni karīrapaṇasāsthigostanākārāṇi | na bhidyante na sravanti ca kaṇḍavahulāni ca bhavanti | tair upadrutaḥ | saśleṣmakam analpamāṃsavasāmedāprakāśa matisāryate | śophaśīta jvarārocakāvipākaśirogauravagrātra sadanāni cāsya tannimittāny eva śukle na nakhanayanavadanamūtrapurīṣavarṇṇaś ca puruṣo bhavati || raktajāni tu nyagrodhapramehavidrumakākanantikaphasadṛśāḥ pittalakṣaṇāni ceti | yadā tu gāḍhapurīṣaprapīḍitāni bhavanti tadātyarthan duṣṭam uśṇamasṛk sahasā visṛjanti || tasya cātipravṛttau śoṇitātiyogopadravā bhavanti | sannipātajāni sarvvalakṣaṇayuktāni sahajāni duṣṭaśukraśoṇitanimittāni | teṣān doṣata eva prasādanan kartavya viśeṣaś cātra durdarśanāni paruṇāṣāṇa pāṇḍūni dāruṇānyantar mukhā ni | tair upadrutaḥ kṛśolpabhuk śirāsannatagātrālpaprajaḥ | kṣīṇar etāś ca bhavati || śloka || vāhyamadhyamayo valyo pratikuryād bhiṣagvaraḥ | valyāmantyantaro yān tu pratyākhyāyāvacen kriyā || prakupitāsty doṣāḥ meḍhrum abhiprapannā māṃsaśoṇitapraduṣya kaṇḍūn janayanti tasmin kaṇḍūkṣatan kṣate duṣṭaṃ māsa prarohāḥ picchilarudhirasrāviṇo jāyante kurcakinobhyantaram upapariṣṭhādvā | te tu sahaṃ vināśayantyupaghnanti pumstvaṃ | yonim abhiprapannā durgandhi picchilāsrāviṇaḥ | cchatrākārāṃ prarohāṃ janayanti | te tu yonim upaghnantyārtavaś ca | nābhim abhiprapannāḥ sukumārāṇāṃ picchilaṃ gaṇḍūpadamukhasadṛśāṃ karīrāṃ janayanti | ta evordhvam āgatāḥ śrotrākṣighrāṇavadaneṣv arśāṃsy upajanayanti | tatra karṇṇajeṣu vādhiryaṃ śūlaḥ pūtikarṇṇatāś ca | netrajeṣu vartmāvarodho vedanā srāvo darśananāśaś ca | grāṇajeṣu pratiśyāyotimātraṃ kṣavathuḥ | kṛcchrocchvāsita | pūtināsya śiro tu nāsika vākyaś ca bhavati || vakreṣu kaṇṭhāṣu tāluṣṭhanyatameṣu tair gadgadavākyatā rasāvaroṇa mukharogāś ca bhavanti || vyānas tu prakupitaḥ śleṣmāṇam parigṛhya vahirdh-asthiraṃ kīlavadarśānti nirvartayatitaś carmakīlasity ācakṣate || bha || tasyato doṣa rum mārutenopajāyate | śleṣmaṇā tu savarṇṇatvaṃ graṃthitatvaś ca nirdiśet || pittaśoṇitajaraukṣyaṃ kṛṣṇatā ślakṣṇatā tathā | samudīrṇṇakharatvaś ca carmakīlasya lakṣaṇāṃ || durnāsnāṃ lakṣaṇaṃ vyāsād uktaṃ yat ca samāsataḥ | tat sarvvaṃ prāgabhihitāt sādhayate cikitsakaḥ || arśaś su dṛśyate rūpaṃ yadā doṣadvayasya tu | saṃsargan tam vijānīyāt saṃsargaḥ ṣaḍvidhasaḥ || sannipātasamutthāni sahajāni tu varjayet | valyaḥ sarvvā syū yeṣāṃ hi durnām abhir upadrutāḥ || tais tu pratihito vāyurapānas sannivartate | tato vyānena saṃgamya jyotir asya pramarddatīti || 2 || ❈ ||
athātośmarīṇā-nnidānaṃ vyā vyākhyāsyāmaḥ || catasrośmayo bhavanti śleṣmādhiṣṭhānādvātona pittena śleṣmaṇā śukreṇeti | tatra jvaror vastipīḍārocaka mūtrakṛcchrā bastisiraśi ca vedanā śepasi muṣkayoś ca bastgandhimūtrañ ca sāmānyapūrvarūpaṃ sarvāsām eva tatrāpathyasevinaḥ | śleṣmā mūtrasaṃsṛṣṭho nupraviṣya bastim aśmarīm upajanayati || tatra śleṣmāśmarī śleṣmalam annam abhyaśato tyartham upalipyādhaḥ parivṛddhiṃ prāpya bastimukham adhiṣṭhāya srotro niruṇaddhi | tasya mūtrapratighātād dālabhyate bhidyate niśtudyata iva ca basti guruś ca bhavati | aśmarī cātra śvetā snigdhā mahatī kurkuṭāṇḍapratīmā sadhuvarṇṇā bhā bhavati | tāṃ śleṣmāśmarīm iti vidyāt || pittayuktas tu śleṣmā saṅghātam upagamya yathoktam parivṛddhiṃ prāpya bastimukham adhiṣṭhāya srotro niruṇaddhi | tasya mūtrapatīghātā dūṣyate cūṣyate pacyata iva bastir uṣṇaś ca bhavati | aśmarī cātra saraktā pītāvabhāsā kṛṣṇa bhallātakapratimā madhuvarṇṇābhā bhavati tām patikīm iti vidyāt || vātayuktas tu śleṣmā saṃghātam upagamya yathoktām parivṛddhiṃ prāpya bastimukham adhiṣṭhāya srotro niruṇaddhi tasya mūtrapratīghātāttīvrā vedanā bhavati|| tatyartham pīḍyamāno dantāṃ khādati nābhim pīḍayati meḍhraṃ pramṛdgāti gadhayati vidahati | vātamūtrapurīṣa kracchratā ca bhavati | aśmarī cātra śyāsād viṣamā kharāru kadambapuṣpavat kaṇṭhakacitā bhavati tām vātikīm iti vidyāt || prāpayeṇaitāstisro śmaryo bhavanti | divāsvapnasamaśanādhyasaraśītasnigdhamadhurāhārapriyatvād bālānān teṣām evacālpabastikāyatvād amāṃsopacayāc ca sukhagrahaṇāharaṇāś ca bhavanti | mahatān tu śukrāśmarī śukranimittā bhavati | maithunadbhighātā śukram upasthitam anirgacchatanti mārgagam anilo vigṛhya vṛṣaṇayor antare saṃharati saṃhṛtya copasoṣayati | sa mūtramārgam āvṛtya mūtrakṛcchram bastir asivedanām erśām uṣṇayoś ca śvayathum uyodayati nipīḍitamātre ca tasmiṃna va kāśa pravilayam āpadyate || tāṃ śukrāśmarīm iti vidyāt | atha tārśu vedanā mūtradhārāsuśaṃgaḥ śarūdhiramūtravikirañ cāsloka || nābhipṛṣṭhakaṭīmuṣkagudavakṣaṇasepasāṃ | ekadvāras tantatvakko madhyai bastir adhomukhaḥ || alāpuriva rūpeṇa sirāsnāyubhir āvṛtaāḥ | mūtrāśayo malādhāra prāṇāyatanam uttamaḥ || nāḍībhir ucanītasya mūtrasyāmāṣayāntarāt | jāgrataḥ svato vāpi sa niṣyandena pūryate || āmukhāsalile nyastaḥ pārśvebhyaḥ pratipūryate | naveghaṭo yathā viddhi bastir mūtrasya pūryate || etenaiva tu kalpena vāta pittaṃ kapho pi vā | mūtrayuktam upasnehā praviśya kurute śmarīna || apsu svacchā sv api yathā nisiktāsu nave śṛṇau bhavet kālāntarāt paṅkas tadvadaśmarīsaṃbhavaḥ || saṃhṛty āpo yathā divyāṃ mārute gniś ca vaidyutaḥ | tadvad valāsaṃ bastis tham ūṣmāṃ sahṛtya sānilaḥ || sā bhinnamūrti vātena sarkarebhy abhidhīyate | mūtraśrota prabhṛtā caḥ saktāḥ kuryād upadravān | daurbalya sadanaṃ kārśya kukṣiśūlamarocakaḥ | pāṇḍutvam uṣṇavātañ ca tṛṣā hṛtpīḍanaṃ vami || mārute viguṇai bastau mūtra samyaṅ na vartate | vikārā vividhāś cāpi pratilome bhavanti hī tri ||

athāto bhagandarāṇān nidānaṃ vyāvyāvyākhyāsyāmaḥ || vātapittaśleṣmasannipātāgantukanimittāḥ | śataponakoṣṭragrīvaparisrāviśamvūkāvarttonmārgiko yathāsaṃkhyaṃ pañca bhagarā bhavanti | te tu gudavastibhagapradeśadarpaṇād bhagadandarā ity ucyate | abhinnās tu piḍakā bhinnās tu sabhagandarāḥ | tatrāpathyasevināṃ vāyuḥ | prakupitaḥ sannivṛttaḥ sthirībhūto gudamabhigato gudadvārād aṅgule dvyadyaṅgule tryaṅgule vā māṃsaśoṇitam abhipradūṣyāruṇavarṇṇām piḍakāñ janayati | sāsya todādīm vedanāviśeṣān upajanayati |. apratikriyamānā ca pākam upaiti | mūtrāśayābhyāsagatatvāc ca vraṇa praklinnaḥ | śataponakavadanumukhaiś chidrair āpūte | tāni ca cchidrāṇyajasramphe nānuviddhamāsrāvam pravahati | vraṇaś chidyate bhidyate tāḍyate sūcībhir iva nisdudyate gudam cāvadīryate vātamūtrapurīṣaretasāmadyāgamaś ca taiś chidrair bhavati tam bhagandaraṃā śatapokam ity ācakṣate || pittam tu kupitam anilerādhaḥ | preritaṃ pūrvavadavāvasthitaṃ raktāt tanvīm ucchritāgrāmuṣṭhagrīvākārām piḍakāṃjanayati | sāsya dāhādīn vedanāviśeṣān upajanayati || apratitikriyaā māṇā ca pākam upaiti vraṇaś cāgnikṣārābhyām iva dahyate durgandham uṣṇamāsrāvaṃ sravatyupekṣitaś ca vātamūtrapurīṣaretāṃsi visṛjati taṃ bhagandaram uṣṭragrīvam ity ācakṣate || śleāṣmā prakupitās samīraṇenādha prerita pūrvavad eva avasthitaḥ | śuklāvabhāsāṃ sthirāṅ kaṇḍūmatīm piḍakāṃ janayati | sāsya kaṇḍvādīm vedanāviśeṣān upajanayati | apratikriyamāṇā ca pākam upaiti | vraṇaś ca kaṭhinaḥ | sasaṃrambhaḥ kaṇḍūprāyaḥ picchilam ajasramāsrāvaṃ sravaty upekṣitaś ca vātamūtrapurīṣare tāṃsi visṛjati tam bhagadaram parisraviṇam ity ācakṣate || vāyuḥ prakupitaḥ prakupitau tu pittaśleṣmāṇo parigṛhyadho gatvā pūrvavad eva avasthitaḥ pādāṅguṣṭhapramāṇaāṃ sarvaliṅgām piḍakāṃ janayanti | tesya todadāhakaṇḍvādīm vedanāviśeṣān upa janayaty apratikriyāmāṇām ca pākaṃ gacchanti | vraṇaś ca nānāvidhavarṇṇavedaroganāvidhavarṇṇamāsrāvaṃ sravati pūrṇṇanadīśamvūkāvarttavac cātrābhyuttiṣṭhati vedanāviśeṣāḥ tam bhagandaraṃ savūkāvarttam ity ācakṣate || mūḍhena tu sāsthiśalyam annamabhyavahṛtaṃ yadā gāḍhapurīṣonmiśramapānenādha preritamaṃsamyagāgataṃ gudaṃ kṣiṇoti | tadā tatra kṣatanimittād gatirupajāyate | tasmiś ca kṣate pūyarudhirāvadīrṇṇamāṃsakothe bhūmāviva jalapraklinnāyāṃ krimayaḥ saṃjāyante | te bhakṣayanto gudam anekadhā pārśvatovadārayanti | tasya taiś ca krimikṛtair mārgai vātamūtrapurīṣaretāṃsyabhiprapadyante tam bhagandaram unmārgiṇam ityācakṣate || ghorāḥ sādhayitur duḥkhās sarva eva bhagandarāḥ | teṣv asādhyas tridoṣotthaḥ kṣatajaś ca bhagandara

athātaḥ kuṣṭhanidānaṃ vyāvyāvyākhyāsyāmaḥ || mithyāhārācārasya pittaśleṣmāṇau prakupito parigṛhyānilaḥ pravṛddhas tiryaggāḥ sirāḥ samprapadyate samuddhūya vāhyaṃ mārgam prati samantād vikṣipati | yatra yatra vikṣiptā niścarati tatra tatra maṇḍalāni bhavanti | tatra ca parivṛddhiṃ prāpyāpratikriyāmāṇo 'bhyantaram anuprāpto dhātūn vidūṣayati | tasya ca pūrvvarūpāṇi tvakpāruṣyamakasmādromaharṣaḥ kaṇḍū svedavahutvasuptatvamaṅgānām asṛk kṛṣṇatā ca | tatra saptamahākuṣṭhāni ekādaśa kṣudrakuṣṭhāny evam aṣṭhādaśā bhavanti | teṣām mahākuṣṭhāṇy aruṇodumvara ṛśyajihvakapālakākaṇakapuṇḍarīkāni dadrukuṣṭhaś ceti |. kṣudrakuṣṭhāni tu sthūlārukṣa mahākuṣṭha kajuṣṭhaś carmadalam parisarpā visarpā visarpasidhmam vicarccikā kiṭibham pāmārakasā ceti | sarvāṇi kuṣṭhāni savātāni sapittāni saśleṣmāṇi sakriḥmīṇi bhavanti |. utpannasya grahaṇam abhibhavāt tatra vātenāruṇaṃ | pittenodumvaraṛṣyajihvakapālakākaṇakāni | śleṣmaṇāpuṇḍarīkan dadrukuṣṭhaṇ cet yeṣān tu mahatvaṃ sarvadhātvanusāritvād asādhyatvāc ceti | tatra vātenāruṇavarṇṇāni tanūni visarpīṇi todasvāpayuktāni bhavanti | pakvodumvaravarṇṇānyodumvarāṇi ṛṣyajihveva kharāṇi ṛśyajihvāni | kṛṣṇakapālikāprakāśāni kapālakuṣṭhāni | kākaṇantika phalasadṛśāny atīva raktāni paryante ca kṛṣṇāṇi kākaṇantikāni | teṣām pañcānāpyoṣā coṣaparidāhadhūmāyanāni kṣipotthānaprapākabheditvāni ca sāmānyāni puṇḍarīkaprakāśānyapuṇḍarīkānitasīpuṣpavarṇṇāni tāmrāṇi vā visarpīṇi piḍakāvanti dadrukuṣṭhāni tayor dvayor apyutsannatā | parimaṇḍalatā kaṇḍūścirotthānatvañ ce || kṣudrakuṣṭhāny ata ūrdhvam vakṣyāmaḥ | aruḥ | kuṣṭham sthūlamūlānyarūṃṣi saṃjāyante sandhiṣu dāruṇāni | mahākuṣṭhe sarvadehe bhavanti tvaksaṃkocasvedabhedāṅgadāhāḥ | kṛtsudehe yasya kṛṣṇāruṇo vā tam caikākhyaṃ kuṣṭham āhuḥ sukaṣṭaṃ | kaṇḍūcoṣau todadāhau tu yasya kāle ccāsmiñ carmadālaṃ vadanti || yasmin sphoṭā srāvavanta tam āhuḥ parīsarpan tacchanaiḥ sarppamāṇaṃ | vaisarppa syāt sarvataḥ sarpanantu tvagraktādīn vyāpyabhāvāṃ suśīghraṃ || svaccha svetaṃ kaṇḍumac cāpi sidhmam paridhvaṃsi prāyaśaś cordhvakāye | pānī pādau dāruṇau yasya rūkṣau soṣā kaṇḍū sā vicarcci pradiṣṭā vaipādyā vaiśo pādayoś cāvadīrṇṇā saivārthajñais tīvrakaṇḍū sadohāḥ | kṛṣṇaṃ snigdham maṇḍalaṅ kaṅḍurañ ca śyāvopetaṅ kiṭibham pathyate tu | sūkṣmā vahuḥ piḍakāḥ srāvavatyaḥ pāmetyuktāḥ kaṇḍūmatyagrudāhāḥ | saivāsphoṭās tīvradāhair upetā jñeyā pāṇyau kaccharugrāḥ sthirāś ca | kṛtsnedehe paiḍakāḥ kaṇḍūmatyo nairāsrāvā rākasetyucyate tu | tatrāruṣkaṃ rākasaṃ yac ca sidhma kaṃphādhikyādekakuṣṭham mahac ca | pittodreparisarpanti vidyāduṣṭhoniṣṭhaḥ kuṣṭhavargastridoṣaḥ || kilāsam api kuṣṭhavikāra eva | tat tu trividhaṃ vātena pittena śleṣmaṇā ceti | kuṣṭhakilāsayor antaraṃ tvaggatam eva kilāsam aparisrāvi ca | tadvātena maṇḍalamaruṇaṃ paridhvaṃsi ca |. pittena padmapatrapratīkāśaṃ saparidāhañ ca śleṣmaṇā śvetaṃ snigdhaṃ kaṇaaḍūrañ ca | tatra samvaddhamaṇḍalam antejāta raktaromāṇañ cāsādhyamm agnidagdhañ ca | tatra kuṣṭheṣu tvaksaṅkocasvedaśophasvāpabhedakauṇyasvaropaghāto vātena | pākāvadaraṇam aṅgulipatanaṃ karṇṇanāsābhaṅgākṣirāgāḥ kṣipotpatayaḥ | pittena kaṇḍūvarṇṇabhedaḥ śophaḥ srāvāḥ śleṣmaṇā | tatrātivalapravṛttam puṇḍarīkaṃ kākaṇañ cāsādhyam iti || bha ||yathā vanarspatir jātaḥ | prāpya kālakrameṇa tu | antarbhūmim vigāheta mūlair vṛṣṭivivarddhitaḥ || evaṃ kuṣṭha samutpanna tvaci kālaprakarṣataḥ | krameṇa dhātūṃ prāpnoti narasyāpratikāraṇaḥ || tvaksthai vaivarṇṇam aṅgeṣu kuṣṭhai raukṣyaiś ca jāyate | tvaksravo romaharṣaś ca svedasyātipravarttanaṃ |. kaṇḍūrvipūyakaś caiva kuṣṭhe śoṇitasaṃśrite || vāhulyam vaktraśoṣaś ca kārkaśye piḍakodgamaḥ |. todaḥ sphoṭaḥ sthiratvañ ca kuṣṭhe māṃsasamāśrite | kauṇyaṃ gatikṣayoṅgānām bheda kṣatavisarppaṇaṃ |. medasthānagate liṅge pūrvoktāni tathaiva ca | nāsākṣitaṅgo rāgaś ca kṣate ca krimisambhavaḥ |. svaropaghātaś ca bhaved asthimajjasamāśrite | strīpuṃsoḥ kuṣṭhavāhulyād duṣṭaśoṇitaśukrayoḥ |. yadapatyam bhavej jātaṃ jñeyaṃ tadapi kuṣṭhilaṃ | kuṣṭham ātmavatas sādhyaṃ tvagraktapiśitāśritaṃ |. medogatam bhaved yāpyam asādhyam ata uttaraṃ | devadravyagurudravyaparadārābhimarśanāt |. pāpmāpāpakṛtām etat kuṣṭham ity abhiśabditaṃ | mṛyate yadi kuṣṭhena punar jātepi gacchati || āhārācārayoḥ proktām āsthāya mahatīṃ kriyāṃ | oṣadhīnām viśaïṣṭānān tapasaś ca niśevaṇāt |. yastena mucyate jantuḥ puṇyād gatim avāpnuyāt | pravātagātrasamparśā niśvāsāt sahabhojanāt || kuṣṭhaṃ jvaraś ca śoṣaś ca netrābhiṣyandi eva ca | aupasarggikarogāś ca saṃkrāmanti narān naram

athātaḥ pramehānān nidāno adhyāyāṃ vyāṃvyākhāśyāmaḥ || divāsvapnaprasaktānām alasaṃ śītasnigṭhamadhuramedyadravānnapānasevinam puruṣañ jānīyāt pramehī bhaviṣyatīti | tasyaivam pravṛttasya yadā vātapittaśleṣmāṇo medaś cāparipakvam adho gatvā vastimukham āśritya nirbhidyante tadā pramehāṃ janayanti | teṣām pūrvvarūpāṇi pāṇihapādataladāhaḥ || svinnaciṇagrātatāṃ madhurasūśuklamūtratā tandrā ca || tatrāvilaprabhūtamūtralakṣaṇāḥ sarva eva prame bhavanti | sarvva eva sarvadoṣasamutthāś ca saha piḍakābhiḥ | tatra kaphād udakākṣuvalikāsurarāsikatāśanair lavaṇapiṣṭasāndraśukramehāḥ | phenamehāś cetidaśa || pittānnīlaharidrāmlakṣāramañjiṣthāmehāḥ śoṇitamehāś ceti ṣaḍ || vātāt sarpir vasākṣaudramehahā hastimehaś ceti catvāro sādhyāḥ tatra vātapittamedobhir anvitaḥ śleṣmaśvāṃ mo me hāṃjanayati | vātakaphaśoṇitamedobhir anvitam pittaṃ pittavasāmajjāmedobhir anvito vāyur iti || tatra śvetam avedanam udakatulyam udakamehī mehati | ikṣurasatulyam ikṣuvalikāmehī || surātulyaṃ surāmehī || sarujaṃ sikatānuviddhaṃ sikatāmehī || śanaiḥ sakaphaṃ sā śanair mahī || viśadaṃ lavaṇatulyaṃ lavaṇamehī | hṛṣṭaromā piṣṭatulyam piṣṭamehī | āvilaṃ sāndraṃ sāndramehī | śukratu.yaṃ śukramehī | stokastokaṃ saphenañ ca phanamehī mahati || ata ūrdhvam pittanimittam vakṣyāmaḥ || saphenamacchan nīlamahī mehati | sadāhaṃ kakaṃ haridrābhaṃ haridrāmehī mehati | amvlarasagandham amvlamehī | srutakṣārapratimaṃ kṣāramehī | mañjiṣṭhadakaṃ prakāśamañjiṣṭhamehī | śoṇitamehī śoṇitam mehati || vātanimittān vakṣāmaḥ | sarpiḥ prakāśaṃ sarpim mehī mehati | vasāprakāśaṃ vasāmehī | kṣaudrasavarṇṇakṣaudramehī || mattamātaṅgavadanapravaddhaṃ madhuraṃ hastimehī mehati || upadravānate ūrdhvaṃ vakṣyāmaḥ | medakṣikopasarpaṇamālasya māsyopadehaḥ | pratiśyāyasaithilyam arocakāvipāko kaphaprasekaschardyatinidrākāsaḥ iti śleṣmajānām upadran bhavanti || vṛṣaṇayor avadaraṇaṃ vastibhedo metādāmlīkāpipāsājvarotīsāro mūrcchāpāṇḍuroga iti pittajānā || hṛdgrahodaurvalyam anidrālambhaḥ | kampaḥ śulovadhdapurīṣatvam śoṣaḥ kāsaḥ svāsa iti vātajānām upadravā bhavanti || evam ete viṃśati pramehāḥ | sopadravā vyākhyātāḥ | tatra vasāmedobhyām abhipannaśarīrasya doṣair anugatadhātoḥ pramehiṇo navapiḍakāḥ sañjāyante tadyatvā śarāvikā sarṣapī || kacchapikā jālinī putriṇī | masūrikā | aṃjala jīvidārikā | vidradhikā ceti || antonnatān ca tadrūpā nimnamadhyā śarīvikāḥ | gaurasarṣapasaṃsthānā tat pramāṇā ca sarṣaṣī || sadāhā kūrmasaṃsthānā jñeyā kacchapikā vudhaiḥ | jālinī tīvradāhā tu māṃsajālasamāvṛtā || mahaty alpa citā yo piḍakā cāpi putriṇī | masurasaṃsthāna samo vijñeyān tu masūrikā || raktā sitā sphoṭācitā dāruṇā tv alajī bhavet | vidārīkandavaddhṛttā kaṭhinā ca vidārikā || vidradher llakṣaṇair yuktā jñeyā vidradhikā vudhaiḥ | ya yenmayā smṛtā mehā teṣām mehās tu tat mayā || gude hṛdi śirasyaṃse pṛṣṭhe marmasu cotthitāḥ || sopadravā durvalāgnaḥ piḍakāḥ parivarjjayet | kṛtsnaśarīran niṣpīḍya medomajjavasāyutāḥ || ataḥ prakramate vāyus tenāsādhyās tu vātajāḥ || pramehapūrvvarūpāṇām ākṛtir yatra dṛśyate | kiñcid anyadhikaṃ mūtraṃ tam pramehīti nirdiśet || kṛtsnāṇy ardhāni vā yasmin pūrvvarūpāṇi mānave vṛttamūtram aty arthan tam pramehiṇam ādiśet || piḍakāpīḍitaṃ gāḍham upasṛṣṭam upadravaiḥ | madhu mehinam ācaṣṭe sa cāsādhyatamaḥ smṛtaḥ || sa cāpi gamanāṃ sthānaṃ sthānād āsanam eva ca | āsanād vṛṇute śayyāṃ śayane svapnam icchati || yathā śuklādivarṇṇānāṃ pañcānām utkarṣāpakarṣakṛtena saṃyogaviśeṣeṇa svetavaabhrūkapilakapotam ecakādīnām varṇṇānāṃ anekaṣām utpattir bhavati | evam eva doṣadhātumalāhāraviśeṣeṇotkarṣāpakarṣakṛtema saṃyogaviśeṣeṇa prameha nānākaraṇam bhavati || sarva eva pramehās tu kāle pratikāriṇo | madhumehātvam āyānti tadā sādhyā bhavanti ca || tra || 0 ||
athātaḥ udarāṇān nidāna vyāvyākhyāsyāmaḥ || dhanvantirir dharmabhṛtāṃ pariṣṭho rājarṣir indrapratimo mahātmā | vrahmarṣiputram vināyopapannaṃ śiṣya śubhaṃ suśrutam anvaśāsat || pṛthak samastair api cāpi doṣaiḥ plīhodaraṃ vaddhagudam vadanti | āgantuka saptamam aṣṭaman tu dakodarañ caiva bhavanti tāni || sudurvalāgnerahitāśanasya vṛddhiṃ gatāḥ | koṣṭham abhiprapannāḥ | gulmākṛtiṃ vyaṃjanalakṣaṇāni kurvvanti ghorāṇyudarāṇi doṣāḥ || koṣṭhād upasnehavadantasāro niḥsṛtyaduṣṭo nilasaṃprayuktāḥ| tvacaḥ samunnāsya śanais samastād dhi marpyamāṇo jaṭharaṃ karoti || pragṛhyapṛṣṭhaudara pārśvavastīn vivardhate kṛṣṇasirāvanaddhaṃ | samūḍhavātaṃ sarujaṃ saśavdaṃ satodabhedaṃ pavanātmakan tat || sa coṣakṛṣṇājvaradāhayuktāṃ pītās sirāyatra ca bhānti pītā | pītākṣiviṇmūtranakhānanasya vidottodarantatvacirābhivṛddhiḥ || yacchītalaṃ śuklasirāvanaddhaṃ gurusthiraṃ śuklanakhānanasya | snigdhammahatmīdanaśophanyuktaṃ cirābhivṛddhiṃ prathitaṃ kaphāt tat || striyo nnadhānan nakharomamūtrair vviḍārttavaiyuktamasādhuvṛttāḥ | yasmai prayacchanty arasogarāṃśca duṣṭāṃ vudūṣīviṣasevanād vā || tenāśu raktaṃ kupitāś ca doṣāḥ kuryuḥ sughaurañjaṭharantrilaṅgaṃ tacchītavātātapadurdineṣu viśeṣataḥ kupyati dahyate ca | sacāturo mūrcchati saṃprayuktaṃ pāṇḍuḥ kṛṣaḥ śuṣyati tṛṣṇayā ca | dūṣyodaraṅ kīrttitam eva evaṃ plīhodaraṅ kīrttayato nibodhaḥ || vidāhyabhiṣyandiratasya jantoḥ pradūṣṭam atyarttham asṛkkaphaś ca | plīhābhivṛddhi kurute plihotthaṃ pracakṣate taṭhajjaṭharaṃ pravṛddhaṃ || tadvāmapārśvaparivṛddhim eti viśeṣatassīdati cāturo tra | mandajvarāgniḥ kaphapittaliṅgair ūpadṛtaḥ kṣīṇo valo tipāṇḍuḥ || savye tu pārśve yakṛtipraduṣṭe jñeyaṃ vakṛddālyudaran tad eva | yasyāntamannair apalepibhir vvālāśmabhir vvāpihitaṃ yathāvat || sañcīyate tatra malaḥ pradoṣaḥ śanaiḥ śanaiś śakeravan tu nānyāḥ | nirudhyate cāsya gudaṃ purīṣaṃ nireti kṛcchrād api cālpamalpaṃ || hṛnnaubhimadhye parivṛddhim eti tasyodaraṃ vaddhagudam vadanti || śalyan tathānnopahitaṃ gudāntrambhinnanti varco gatamanyate vā || tasmāt srutāntrāt salilaprakāśaḥ srāvaḥ sraved vai gudatas tu bhūyaḥ| nābheradhaś codaram eti vṛddhinistudyate dālyati ca trimātraṃ | etat parisrāvy udaraṃ praviṣṭaṃ dakodaraṃ kīrttayato nivodhaḥ | yaḥ snehapīto pya nuvāsito vā vānto virikto py athavā nicūḍhaḥ || pivejjalaṃ śītalam āśu tasya srotāṃsi dūṣyanti hitadvahānī snehopalipteṣv athavāpi teṣu dakodaraṃ pūrvvavad abhyupyaiti || snigdham mahat tat parivṛttanābhiḥ samātataṃ pūrṇṇam ivāmvunā ca | yathā dṛśyati kṣubhyati kampate ca śavdāyate cāpi dakodaran tat || adhuno gamaneśaktidaurvvalydurvvalāgnitā śophaḥ sadanamaṅganāṃ saṃgovātapurīṣośayoḥ || dāhas tandrī ca mūrcchā ca jaṭhareṣu bhavanti hi | chardiścaivātisāraś ca trṣṇā daurvvalyam eva ca || mūtragrahaḥ pārśvaśūlaṃ svarabhedapramūḍhatā | hikkāśvāsaś ca kāśaś ca aruciś cāpy upadravāḥ || ante salilabhāvañ ca bhavanti jaṭharāṇi tu | sarvvāṇiparipakvāni tasmāt tam parivarjjayet || 7 ||
athāto mūḍhagarbhāṇān nidānaṃ vyāvyākhyāsyāmaḥ || grāmyadharmayānavāhanādhvagamanapraskhalanaprapatanapīḍanābhighātaviṣamaśayanāsanopavāsavegābhighātātirūkṣākaṭukatiktabhojanājīrṇṇagarbhaśātanaprabhṛtibhir abhighātaviśeṣacatvarāny ucchidyante garvbham phalam iva vṛttavandhanāt | sa khalu muktavandhanatvād garbhaśayyām atikramya yakṛtplīhāntravivarair avasrastamānaḥ koṣṭhaṃ saṃkṣobhayati || tasyāḥ koṣṭhasaṃkṣobhādvāyurapāno mūḍhaṃ prārśvavastiśira udarayoniśūlānāhamūtrasadganāṣādyagarbhas pracyāvayati | taruṇaṃ śoṇitabhāvena kadā cid vivṛddham asamyag āgatam apatyapatham anuprāptam anirgacchantam apānavaiguṇyāsamohitaṃ garbham mūḍhagarbham ity ācakṣate | sakīlaḥ pratikhurovījakaḥ parigha iti caturvvidho mūḍhagarbho bhavatīty eke bhāṣante | ya ūrdhvaṃ śiraḥ pādābhyāṃ yonimukhan niruṇaddhi kīla iva sakīlaḥ niḥsṛtahastapādaśiraḥ | kāyaśaktaḥ pratikhuraḥ yas tu nirgacchati śiro bhujaḥ savījakaḥ parigha iva yonimukham āvṛtya tiṣṭhet sa parigha iti | tat tu na samyak || sa yadā viguṇānipīḍito patyapatham anekadhā pratipadyate tadā catussaṃkhyā hīyate | tatra kaś cid dvābhyāṃ sakthibhyāṃ yonim abhiprapadyate || kaścid ābhugnaikasakthiḥ kaścid ābhugnaśiraḥ sphigdeśena tiryag āgataḥ | kaścid udarapārśvapṛṣṭhānām anyatamena yonidvāraṃ pidhāya tiṣṭhati | kaścid ekena vāhunā pārśvāpavṛttaśirā | kaścid ābhugnaśirāvāhudvayena | kaścid ābhugnamadhyo hastapādaśirobhiḥ | kaścid ekena sakthnakāyonim abhiprapadyāpareṇapāyum ity aṣṭavidho mūḍhagarbhāgatir uddiṣṭāḥ | samāsenaḥ tatra dvābhyāṃ vaṃtyau mūḍhagarbhāvasādhyau śeṣeṣv api tu viparītendriyārthasākṣepakayonibhrañsasamvaraṇasakkallaśvāsakāsabhramanipīḍitaṃś ca pariharet || bhabhavati cātra|| kālasya parimāṇau na muktavṛttādyathāphalaṃ | prapadyate svabhāvena nānyathā pṛthivītalaṃ || evaṃ kālaprakarṣeṇa mukto nāḍīni vandhanāt | garbhāśayastho hi jaja garbho jananāya prapadyate || krimivātābhighātais tu tad evopadrutaṃ phalaṃ | pataty akālepi yathā tathā syāṃ garbhavicyutiḥ || ācaturthāntato māsātprasūte garbhavicyutaḥ | tataḥ sthiraśarīrasya pādaḥ pañcamaṣaṣṭhayoḥ || apaviddhaśarīrātu śītāṅgīnirapatrayā | nīloddhatasirāhanti mā garbhasacatām pūnaḥ || garbhāspaṃdana nopīnāṃ praṇāśaḥ śyāvapāṇḍutā | bhaved ucchvāsapūtitvaṃ śūlaś cāntamṛṃte śiśau || mānasāgantubhir māturupatāpair prapīḍitaḥ | garbho vyāpadyate kukṣau vyādhibhi sunipīḍitaḥ || kukṣe māturvvipannāyāḥ garbhaḥ praspandate striyāḥ| janmakāle muhurttāttam pāṭayitvoddharecchiśuṃ || yadā so ntarmmṛto garbhaḥ śunovastirivātataḥ | tonāvṛtā ca nāryās tu kukṣisunnahyate bhṛśaṃ || utkṣipya iva cāṅgāni mūtravastiś ca vidyate | klomaplīhāyakṛc caiva pupphusaṃ hṛdyuyan tathā || garbheṇa pīḍitā hy etad ūrdhvam prakrāmati striyā | sā sūyate muhyati ca kṛcchrocchvāsā ca jñāte || pūtigandhas tathā svedo jihvātāluś ca śuṣyati | vepate bhrāmyati tathā jīvataṃ coparudhyate || etair liṅgair vijñānīyānmṛtagarbhañ cikitsaka iti || ni || dra || 9 ||
athāto vidradhīnān nidānaṃ vyāvyākhyāsyāmaḥ || sarvāmaraguruḥ śrīmānniśittāntarabhūmipaḥ siṣyāyovāca nikhilamidam vidradhilakṣaṇaṃ || tvagraktamāṃsaṃ medāṃsi pradūṣyāsthisamāśritāḥ | doṣāḥ śophaṃ śanairghorañ janayanty ucchritā bhṛṣam || mahāmūlā rujāvanta vṛttam cā py athavāyataṃ | sa vidradhir iti syā khyāto vijñeyaḥ ṣaḍvidhaś ca yaḥ || pṛthagdoṣaiḥ samastaiś ca kṣatenāpyasṛjā tathā | ṣaṇṇām api hi teṣān tu lakṣaṇaṃ saṃpravakṣyate || kṛṣṇāruṇo vā paruṣo bhṛṣamatyarthavedanaḥ | kṣiprotthānaprapākaś ca vidhradradhirvātalakṣaṇaḥ || pakvodumbaraśaṅkāśaḥ syāvo vā jvaradāhavān | kṣiprotthānaprapākaś ca vidradhiḥ pittasambhavaḥ || śarāvasadṛśaḥ pāṇḍuḥ sītaśingdholpavedanaḥ | cirosthānaprapākaś ca sakaṇḍṛś ca kaphāt śakaḥ || tanupītaśitāścaiṣāmāsrāvāḥ kramaśaḥ smṛtāḥ | nānāvarṇṇarujāsrāvo ghāṭāle viṣavo mahān || viṣamam pacyate cāpi vidradhis sānnipātikaḥ | tais tair bhāvair abhihate kṣate vā pathyasevinaḥ || kṣatoṣmā yurvisṛtaḥ | saraktaṃ pittam īrayet | jvaratṛṣṇā ca dāhaś ca jāyate vā sya dehinaḥ || āgantu vidradhiṣapittavidradhilakṣaṇaḥ | kṛṣṇaḥsphoṭāvṛtaḥ syāvatīvraharujājvaraḥ || pittavidradhiliṅgasya raktavidradhir ucyate | uktā vidradhayo hyete teṣv asādhyaś ca sarvajaḥ || abhyantarānata ūrdhvam vidradhī saṃ pravakṣyate | pṛthak saṃbhūya vā doṣāḥ kupitā gulmarūpiṇaḥ || valmīkavatsam unnaddham antaḥ kurvanti vidradhiṃ | gude baistimukhe nābhyāṃ kukṣau vaṃkṣaṇayos tathā || vṛkkayoḥ plīhni yakṛti hṛdi vā klomni vāpy a ca | eṣām uktāni liṅgāni bāhyavidradhilakṣaṇaiḥ || āmapakvaṣaṃ ṇīyāc ca pakvāpakvam vibhāvayet | adhiṣṭhānaviśeṣaṇa liṅgaṃ śṛṇu viśeṣataḥ || gude gatanirodhas tu bastau kṛcchrālpamūtratā | nābhyāṃ hikkā tathāṭopaḥ kukṣau mārutakopanaṃ || kaṭīpṛṣṭhagrahastīvro vaṅkṣaṇocche tu vidradhau | vṛkṣayoḥ yā svasaṃkocaḥ plīhyacchvāsanirodhaṃ || sarvāṃgapragrahastīvro hṛdi kāmaś ca jāyate | śvāsau vā yakṛti tṛṣṇā klomnipai pīyate py eṣaḥ || āmo vā yadi vā pakvo vā mahān vā yadi vetara | sarvo marmotthitaś cātrai vidradhiḥ kaṣṭha ucyate || nābher uparijāto |yo marmākhyāṃ se ca vidradhiḥ | yaḥ pakvaḥ sopya sādhyaḥ syād yaś cotva sudurai tathā || nābher uparijāḥ pakvā yānty ūrdhvam itare tv adhaḥ | adhaḥ sruteṣu jīvantu sruteśūrdhvan na jīvati || hṛdbastinābhivarjyā ye teṣu bhinneṣu bāhyataḥ | jīvet kadāci puruṣo netareṣu kadācana || strīṇām avaprajātānām prajātānān tathā hitaiḥ | dāhajvarakaro ghoro jāyate raktavidradhiḥ|| strīṇāṃ mithyā prajātānām masṛk kāyād anisṛtaṃ || raktajāṃ vidradhiṃ kuryāt kukṣau makkalasaṃjñitaṃ || śaptāhānnopaśāntaś cett tas sampratipadyate | viśeṣam atha vakṣyāmi spaṣṭaṃ vidradhigulmayoḥ || kasmānna pacyate gulmo vidradhiḥ pākameti ca | na nibandho sti gulmānāṃ vidradhissanibandhanaṃ || vivarānucaro gulmai hy apsu budbudakopamaḥ | evaṃ prakāro gulmas tu tasmāt pākan na gacchati || māmśaśoṇitahīnasya gulmlo na paripacyate | māṃsaśoṇitabāhulyā pākaṃ gacchati vidradhiḥ | || gulmastiṣṭhati doṣaiḥ svair vidradhirmāmśasoṇite | vidradhiṃ pacyate tasmād gulmaś cāpina pacyate || hṛnnābhibastijaḥ pakvo varjyo yaś ca tridoṣajaḥ vidradheḥ pūrvarūpāṇi vidtrānilasadgrahaḥ || bhramodgamardover asya kām madhurasyatā | muhurmuhus tathāt yatha yathā sṭhānam bhaved rujā || vivardhate jvaraś cāsya tṛṣṇā cāsya pravādhata iti || 9
athāto visarpanāḍīstanarogāṇāṃ nidānaṃ vyā || tvaṅmānsaśoṇitagatāḥ kupitāś ca doṣāḥ sarvāṅgacāriṇam iha sthitam ātmaliṃgaṃ |. kurvanti vistṛtam anunnatam āśu śophaṃ ta sarvato visarañ ā tu visarpam āmahuḥ | vātātmakositamṛduḥ paruṣoṅgamarddasambhedatodapavanajvaraliṅgayuktaḥ || pittātmako drutagatirjvaradāhapākaḥ sphoṭaprabhedavahulakṣatajaprakāśaḥ | sadyaḥ kṛtānvitam ivāpi hitam vibhāti | srotojakardamavapur nā tadā sasidhyet || śleṣmātmakaḥ sarati mandamaśīghrapākī snigdhaḥ sthiraḥ pracurakaṇḍurananyavarṇṇaḥ | sarvātkamas trividhavarṇṇarujāvagāḍhaḥ | pakvo na sidhyati samaṃśii praṇāśāt || sadyaḥ kṛtavraṇam upetya narasya raktaṃ patittañ ca doṣavahulasya karoti śophaṃ | śyāvaṃ salohitamatijvaradāhapākaṃ sphoṭaiḥ kulatthasadṛśairasitaiś ca kīrṇṇaṃ || sidhyanti vātakaphapittakṛto visarpāḥ sarvātmakaḥ kṣatakṛtaś ca ni siddhim eti | pittātmākaṃjanavapuś ca yadā tadā syāt kṛcchraś ca marmmasu bhavanti hi sarvva eva | yaḥ śopham īkṣati supakvam apakvasaṃjñī yo vā vraṇaṃ pracurapūyam asādhuvṛttaṃ |. abhyantaram praviśaśati pravidārya tasya sthānāni pūrvavihitāni tatas sa pūyaḥ | tasyātimātragamanād gatirity ataś tu nāḍīva yad vahati tenumatānunāḍī |. doṣais tribhir bhavati sā pṛthag ekaśaś ca sammūrcchitair api ca salyanimittatonyā | tatrānilāt pāruṣasūkṣmukhīsaśūlā phenānuviddhamadhikaṃ sravati kṣapām | pittā tu tṛṭjvarakarī paridāhayuktā pītaṃ sravatyadhikamuṣṇamahaḥ sucāpi || jñeyā kaphād vahughanārjanapicchilāsrā stavdhāḥ sakaṇḍurarujā rajanīpravṛddhāḥ | dāhajvaraśvasanamūrcchanavaktraśoṣā yasyā bhavatyabhihitāni ca lakṣaṇāni |. tām ādiśet pavanapittakaphaprakopād ghorāṃ gatiṃ tvasuharām iva kālarātriṃ | naṣṭaṃ kathañcid anumārgam udīriteṣu sthāne śalyam acireṇa gatiṃ karoti |. sā phenilam mathitamacchamasṛgviniśra | muṣṇa karoti sahasā sarujaś ca nityaṃ || yāvantyo gatayaś caiva kāraṇaiḥ sambhavanti hiḥ | tāvantya stanarogāstu tair eva ca bhavanti ha || dhamanyaḥ samvṛtadvārāḥ kanyānāṃ stanasaṃśritāḥ | doṣāgatitvāt tāsāṃ hi stanarogā na santyataḥ || tāsām eva prajātānāṃ garbhiṇīnāñ ca tāḥ punaḥ | svabhāvād eva vivṛtā jāyante sambhavaṃtyataḥ || rasaprasādo madhuraḥ pakvāhāranimittajaḥ | kṛtsnāddehāt stanau prāpya stanyam ity abhidhīyate || viṣaṃsteṣv api gātreṣu yathā śukran na dṛśyate | tad eva ceṣṭāyuvati darśanāt smaraṇād api |. saṃśabdāt sparśanād vāpi saṃharṣāc ca pravarttate | suprasaṃnamanaś cātra darśane hetur ucyate |. āhārarasavīryatvād evaṃ stanyam api striyāḥ | sarvadehāsritatvāc ca śukralakṣaṇam ucyate |. tadapatyasya saṃsparśād darśanāt smaraṇād api | grahaṇāc ca śarīrasyaḥ śukravat samapravarttate || sneho nirastāsāṃ prasrave hetur ucyate | tat kaṣāyam bhaved vātāt kṣiptañ ca plavatembhasi || pittād amvlaṃ sakaṭukaṃ rājyombhasi ca pītikāḥ | śleṣmāghana picchilañ ca jale cāpy avasīdati |. sarvair duṣṭaṃ sarvaliṅgam mabhighātāc ca duṣyati | sakṣīrau vāpy adugdhau vā doṣaṃ prāpya stanau striyāḥ pradūṣya māṃsarudhire stanarogāya kalpate | pañcām api ca teṣā hi raktajam vidradhi vānā |. lakṣaṇāni samānāni vāhyavidradhilakṣaṇair

athāto vṛddhyupadaṃsaślīpadānān nidānam vyāvyākhyāsyāmaḥ || vātapittaśleṣmaśoṇitamedomūtrāntanimittās sapta vṛddhayo bhavanti | teṣu mūtrāntranimittau vātasamutthau | kevalam utpattihetur anyaḥ adhaḥ prakupito nyatamas tu doṣaḥ | phalakośayor vātavāhiṇīdhamanīm abhiprapadya phalakoṣayor vṛddhim upajanayati | tam vṛddhim ity ācakṣate | tatrānilapūrṇṇabastim ivātataṃ puruṣam animittarujam vātavṛddhim ity ācakṣate || pakvodumbarasaṃkāsam āśu samutthānam pittavṛddhiṃ | kaṭhinaṃ snigdhakaṇḍum alpavedanaṃ śleṣmavṛddhiṃ || kṛṣṇāsphoṭāvṛtaṃ pittavṛiddhiliṅgaṃ raktavṛddhiṃ | mṛdusnigdhaṃ sakaṇḍur alpavedanan tālaphalaprakāśam medovṛddhiṃ || mūtrasandhāraṇasīlasya mūtravṛddhir bhavati | sa gacchato bupūrṇṇadṛtir iva kṣubhyate mūtrakṛcchravedanāvaṃttaṃ mūtravṛddhir ity ācakṣate | tatra balavadvigrahādibhir viśeṣair vāyuḥ | prakupito ntrasya sthūlasya cetarasyaikadeśam viguṇam ādāyādho vaṃkṣaṇasandhim āgamya kālāntareṇa muśkakośam upaiti ādhmātabastir ivātataḥ pradīrghaḥ śopho bhavati | sasabdam anupīḍitaś cordhvam utpatati vimuktaś ca punar ādhmāti tam antravṛddhim asādhyam ity ācakṣate || tatra brahmacāriṇī dīrghakarkaśaromāṇonirogopasṛṣṭām alpadvārām apriyām akāmām acokṣasalilaprakṣālitayonim vā nārī yo dhigacchet tathā karajadaśanasaviṣaśūkanipātanāddhastābhighātāc catuṣpadagamanād acaukṣasalilaprakṣālanād vā prakupitās tu doṣāḥ kṣate kṣate vā svayathum upajanayanti tam upadaṃsam ity ācakṣate || sa pañcavidhas tribhi doṣaiḥ pṛthak samastair asṛjaś ca | tatra vātike tvakparimoṭanaṃ stabdhameḍhratā paruṣaśophatā vividhavedanāprādurbhāvaś ca || paittike svayathur udumbarapratikāśo jvaradāhayuktaḥ | ślaiṣmike svayathuḥ kaṇḍūnmāṃ kaṭhinaḥ snigdhaś ca raktaje meḍhragato kṛṣṇasphoṭaprādurbbhāvo tyartham asṛkpravṛttiḥ | pittāliṅgāni ca | sarvaje sarvaliṅgadarśanam avadaraṇañ ca sephasaḥ || krimi prā durbhāvo maraṇañ ceti || prakupitās tu doṣās tv adhaḥprapannā vaṃkṣaṇorujaṅghāsv avatiṣṭhante || tatra kālāntareṇa pādam āśritya śanaiḥ śanaiḥ śopham upajanayanti tac chlīpadam ity ācakṣate || taṃ tu trividhaṃ vātapittakaphanimittam iti | tatra vātajaṃ kṛṣṇam paruṣaṃ kharam animittarujam analpavedana parisphuṭati ca bahuśaḥ || pittajan tu pītāvabhāsaṃ mṛdujvaradāhapradañ ca | śleṣmajan tu snigdhaṃ svetāvabhāsam avedanam atimahāntragranthikaṇṭakair upacitañ ca tatra samvatsarātītam atimahantaṃ valmīkajātam atiprasrutam iti varjanīyāni || trīṇy apy etāni jānīyāc chlīpadāni kaphocchrayāt | gurutvañ ca mahatvañ ca yasmān nāsti vinā kaphāt || purāṇodakabhūyiṣṭhā sarvarttuṣu ca śītalāḥ | ye deśās teṣu jāyante ślīpadāni viśeṣataḥ || pādavaddhas tayoś cāpi ślīpadaṃ jāyate nṛṇāṃ | karṇṇākṣināsāsv api ca kecid icchanti tadvida iti ||

māṃsasaṃśritāḥ | piṭakā śleṣmavātābhyāṃ yavaprakhyeti cocyate || ghanālpavaktram piṭakāmunnatāṃ parimaṇḍalāṃ | andhālajīmalpapūyā tām vidyāt kaphavātajā || vivṛtāsyām mahādāhām pakvodumbarasannibhāṃ | parimaṇḍalām pittakṛtām vivṛtān nāmatām viduḥ || grathitāḥ pañca vā ṣaḍvā dāruṇāḥ kacchaponnatāḥ | kaphānilābhyām piṭakā jñeyā kacchapikā budhaiḥ || pāṇipādatale sandhau grīvāyāmūrdhvajatruṇi | granthirvalmīkavadyasya śanaiḥ samupacīyate || todakledaparīdāhaḥ kaṇḍūmadbhir mukhairvṛtaḥ | vyādhivalmīka ity eṣa vijñāyaḥ kaphapaittikaḥ || padmakarṇṇikavanmadhye piṭakābhiḥ samācitāṃ | indravidvāvijānīyād vātapittotthitāṃ bhiṣak || maṇḍalaṃ vṛttamutsannaṃ saraktaṃ piṭakācitaṃ | rujākarī gardabhikāṃ tām vadedvātapittaḥ | karṇṇasyābhyāntare jātā piṭkāmugravedanāṃ | sthirāmparinasikān tān tu vidyād vātakaphotthitān || hanvāḥ sandhi samudbhūtaṃ śophamalparujaṃ sthiraṃ | pāṣāṇagardabham iti brūyāt kaphapittataḥ || visarpavat sarpati yaḥ sopham taturpākvān | dāhajvarakaraḥ pittāt sa kakṣaroṣu ye sphoṭā jāyante māṃsadāruṇāḥ | antardāhajvarākarā dīptapāvakasannibhā || saptāhādvā daśāhādvā pakṣādvā ghnanti mānavaṃ | tāmagnirohiṇī vidyādasādhyāṃ sannipātataḥ || nakhamāṃsamadhiṣṭhāya vātapittañ ca dehināṃ | kuryāt ādāhapākau ca taṃ vyādhiñ cippam ādiśet || tad evālpatarair doṣair kunakham pāruṣaṃ khara gambhīrām alpasanrambhāṃ savarṅṇām uparisthitāṃ || kaphād anuśayīpaṅkha vidyād antaḥ prayākirīṃ | vidārīkandavadvṛttāṃ kakṣāvaṃkṣaṇasandhiṣu || vidārikām iti vaded sarujāṃ sarvvalakṣaṇāṃ | prāpya māṃsasirāsnāyuṃ śleṣmā medas tathānilaḥ || granthiṃ kurvantya saubhinno madhusarpirvasānibhaṃ | karotyāsrāvamanilas tatra vṛddhiṃ gataḥ punaḥ || māṃsaṃ viśo-ṣya grathitāṃ śarkkarāṃ janayanyataḥ | durgandha klinnam atyarthan nānāvarṇṇan tataḥ sirāḥ || sṛjanti raktaṃ sahasā taṃ vidyāc charkkarārbudaṃ | pāmāvicarcyau kuṣṭheṣu rakaśā ca prakīrttitā || parikramaṇasīlasya vāyur atyartharūkṣayoḥ | pādayoḥ kurate dārī sarujām talasaṃsritāḥ || sarkkaronmathite pāde kṣate vā kaṇṭhakādibhiḥ | granthi kīla vadutsanno jāyate kadaran tu tata | klinnāṅgulyantarau pādau kaṇḍūdāharujānvitau | duṣṭakarddamasaṃsparśād alaseti vibhāvayet || romakūpānurām pittaṃ vātena saha mūrcchitaṃ | pracyāvayati romāṇi tataḥ śleṣmā saśoṇitaṃ || ruṇaddhi romakūpās tu tato nyeṣām asambhavaḥ | tad indraluptakhālityaṃ rujeti ca vibhāvyate || dāruṇā kaṇḍurā rūkṣā keśabhūmiḥ pracodyate | kapham ārutakopena vidyād dāruṇakan tu tat || arūṃṣi bahuvaktrāṇi bahukledāni mūrdhdhitra | kaphāsṛkṣintakopena vraṇāṃ vidyād arūṃṣikāṃ || krodhasokaśramakṛtaḥ śarīroṣmā śirogataḥ | pittaāñ ca kesāṃ pacati palitan tena jāyate || dāhajvararujāvantastāmrāḥ sphoṭāḥ śaveda-nāḥ | gātrentaś ca vadane vijñeyāt tu maśūrikāḥ || śālmalīkaṇṭhakaprakhyāḥ kaphamārutaraktajāḥ | yuvāna piṭakā yūnāṃ vijñeyāmukhaidūṣaṇā || kaṇṭhakair ācitam vidyān maṇḍalam pāṇḍu kaṇḍūraṃ | padminīkaṇṭhakaprakhyais tadāsya kaphavātajam || samam utsannam arujam maṇḍalaṃ kapharaktajam | sahajaṃ lakṣya caikeṣāṃ lakṣyā jatumanīti sā || avedanaṃ sthirañ caiva yasmiṃ gātreṣu dṛśyate | māṣavatkṛṣṇamutsannamanilānmaśakam ādiset || kṛṣṇāni tilamātrāṇi nīrujāni samāṇi ca | vātapittalachotsedhāntās viryāttilakām bhiṣak || mahad vā yadi vātyanyalpaṃ spācaṃ vāyaṃ tivā mitaṃ | nirujaṃmaṇḍalaṃ gātra naccham ity abhidhīyate || krodhāyāsaḥ prakupito vāyuḥ pittena saṃyutaḥ | mukhamāgamya sahasā maṇḍalam visṛjatyataḥ || saṇḍūkaṇḍūḥ kaṭhinā vāpi saiva sleṣmasamutthitā | alpīyaḥkhākhān yadā harṣād balād gacchet yan naraḥ || hastābhighātāpi vā carmaṇy udvarttate vā balāt | yasyāvapāṭyate carma tāṃ vidyād avapāṭikāṃ || vātopasṛṣṭamevaitac carma saṃśrayate maṇiṃ | maṇiś carmoparuddhas tu mūtrasoto ruṇaddhi tu || niruddhaprakaśam vidyāt sandadhāraṃ savedanaṃ | mūtram pravarttate jantor maṇir na ca vidāryate || niruddhaprakaśam vidyāt sarujam vātasambhavaṃ | vegasandhāraṇādvāyuḥ vihato gudamāsritaḥ || niruṇaddhi mahatsrotaḥ sūkṣmadvāraṅ karoti ca | mārgasya saukṣmyāt kṛcchreṇa purīṣan tasya gacchati || saniruddhagudaṃ vyādhim eta vidyāt sudustaraṃ | sakṛnmūtrasamāyuktā dhaute pāne sisor bhavet || svinna vā svedyaymāno vā kaṇḍū raktakaphodbhavā | kaṇḍūyanāt tataḥ kṣipraṃ sphoṭā srāvaś ca jāyate || ekībhūtam vraṇaṃ ghoran taṃ vidyād ahipūtanaṃ | snānotsādanahīnasya malo vṛṣyaṇasaṃsthitaḥ || yadā praklidyate svedāt kaṇḍūṃ sa janayet tadā || tataḥ kaṇḍūyanāt kṣipraṃ sphoṭā srācaś ca jāyate || prāhur vṛṣaṇakacchūs tāṃ śleṣmaraktaprakopajāṃ | pravāhaṇātisārābhyān nirgacchati gudā bahiḥ || rūkṣadurbaladehasya taṃ gudaṃ bhraṃśam ādiśet |

athātaḥ śūkadoṣanidānādhyāyaṃ vyā || liṅgavṛddhim iicchatām akramapravṛttānā śūkadoṣanimittāṃ vyādhayo daśa cāṣṭau ca jāyante |. tadyathā || sarṣapikāṣṭhīlāgrathitaṃ kumbhīkā alajī mṛdita saṃmūḍhaṃ samūḍhapiḍakā | avamanthaḥ puśkarikā spa rśahāniḥ || uttavaśataponakaḥ tvakpākaḥ śoṇitārvudaḥ māṃsārvudaḥ māṃsapāko vidradhis tilakālakaś ceti || gaurasarṣapasaṃsthāna | śūkanirbhugnahetukā | piḍakākapharaktābhyāṃ jñeyā sarṣapikā tu sā || kaṭhinā viṣamā bhagnair vāyunāṣṭhīlikā bhavet | śūkair yat pūritaṃ śaśvad grathitan nāma tatkaphāt || kumbhīkā raktapittotthā jaṃvvasthisadṛśā śubhā | tulyajātvalajīm vidyād yathāproktām vicakṣaṇaḥ |. mṛditam pīḍitaṃ yat tu saṃravdham vāyatakopataḥ || pāṇibhyām bhṛśasaṃmūḍha samūḍhāpiḍakam bhavet || dīrghā vahvaś ca piḍakā dīryate madhyatas tu yāḥ | sovamanthaḥ kaphāsṛgbhyāsvedanā romaharṣakṛt |. piḍakācitā yā piḍakā pittaśoṇitasambhavā | padmakarṇṇikasaṃsthānā jñeyā puṣkariketi sā || sparśahāniṃ tu janayecchoṇitaṃ śūkadūṣitaṃ | mudgamāśopamā raktā piḍakā raktapittajā || vyādhireṣottavonāma śūkājīrṇṇanimittajaḥ | chidrair aṇumukhair liṅgañ citaṃ yasya samantataḥ || vātapittakṛto jñeyaḥ tva kpako jvaradāhakṛt |. kṛṣṇaiḥ sphoṭaiḥ saraktābhiḥ piḍakābhiś ca pīḍītaṃ | yasya vastirujaś cogrā jñeyan tacchoṇitārvudaṃ || māṃsadoṣeṇa jānīyād arvudam māṃsasambhavaṃ | sīryante yasya māṃsāni yatra sarvāś ca vedanāḥ || vidyāt tam mānsapākaṃ tu sarvadoṣakṛtam bhiṣak | vidradhim sannipātena yathoktam abhinirddiśet || kṛṣṇāni citrāṇy athavā śūkāni saviṣāni ca | pātitāni pacaṃtyāśu meḍhran niravaśeṣataḥ || kṛṣṇāni bhūtvā māṃsāni śīryante yasya dehinaḥ | sannipātasamutthānan tam vidyāt tilakālakaṃ || tanu māsārvurda yac ca māṃsā pākaś ca yaḥ smṛtaḥ | vidradhiś ca na sidhyanti ye ca syu ttilakālakāḥ ||

pañcadaśadantamūla aṣṭau danteṣu pañca jihvāyāṃ nava tālūni saptadaśa kaṇṭhe trayaḥ sarveṣ āyataneṣv iti | tatrauṣṭhaprakopād vātapittakaphasannipātaraktamāṃsamedobhighātanimittāḥ | karkaśau paruṣau sta saṃprāptānilavedanu | dālyete paripāṭyete | hy oṣṭhau mārutakopataḥ || cīyate piḍakābhiś ca sarujābhis samantataḥ | sadāhapākapiḍakau pītābhāsau ca pittataḥ || savarṇṇābhis tu cīyate piḍakābhir
