|| agninā kṛtvā yat karma agneḥ saṃvadhi vā yat karma tad agnikarma || tasya vidhivividhānaṃ || || tad yasminnadhyāye vidyate | taṃ vyākhyāsyāmaḥ || agnikarmīyam ity anye paṭhaṃti || agnikarmādhikṛtyakṛto 'gnikarmīya iti vyākhyānayaṃti ca ||

agnikarmamahātmyam āha || kṣārād agnir garīyān kriyāsu vyākhyātaḥ ||

kṣārād guroḥ sakāśād agnir garīyān gurutaraḥ || kutaḥ | punaḥ kṣārād agnir garīyān ity āha || kriyāsu karmasu || na tu guṇeṣu |. guṇeṣu punas tridoṣaghnachedyabhedyalekhyakaraṇādiṣu kṣāra eva pradhānaḥ || etena sve sve kṛtye dvayor apiprādhānyam uktaṃ || yathā dṛḍhaprahāritvenārjunāt karṇaḥ karṇād dūrāpātitvenārjunaḥ pradhānam iti || vyākhyāta iti kathita ity arthaḥ || pratijñātasya garīyas tv asya sādhakaṃ hetum āha || || tad dagdhānāṃ rogāṇāṃm apunarbhavāt || tad dagdhām iti || agnidagdhānām apunarbhāvād iti || apunarbhāvas tu sādhyānāṃ samyag dagdhānāṃ || etad viparyayetv agnidagdhasyāpi punar udbhavaḥ || anyetv anyā samādadhati |. arbudādayo 'gninā samūlam unmūlitā mithyāhārādibhiḥ || punardoṣaprakopāt tat sthāna evānye jāyamānās tadvad upālabhyaṃte |. hetvaṃtaraṃ samuccinvan āha || bheṣajaśastrakṣārair aśakyānāṃ tatsādhyatvāc ca || tat sādhyatvād agnisādhyatvād ity arthaḥ || anye svedaśastrakṣārair iti paṭhaṃti || tatrāyam arthaḥ || bhagaṃdaryarśasādayaḥ pūrvaṃ svidyaṃte || paścāt teṣu śastram avacāryate || athavā svedagrahaṇaṃ bheṣajopalakṣaṇaṃ || bheṣajāśaktau śaṃktau śastrāvacāraṇaṃ |. śastrāśaktāvaśeṣavyādhiśamanāya kṣāraḥ || kṣārāśakte 'vagāḍhamūle vyādhāv agnir iti || aganyavacāraṇopakaraṇāni nidarśayannāha ||

athaimāni dahanopakaraṇāni || tad yathā || pippalyajāśakṛdgodaṃtaśaraśalākā jaṃābavauṣṭvetataralauhāḥ kṣaudraguḍasnehāś ca ||

ajāśakṛchāgapurīṣaṃ || jāṃbavauṣṭhaṃ jaṃbūphalasadṛśamukhāgnākṛṣṇapāṣāṇaracitāvarttiḥ |. itaralohāḥs tāmrarajatādayaḥ || teṣāṃ vikārā lauhāḥ || kṣaudraguḍasnehāś ceti || cakārāt sarjarasamadhūchiṭādayaḥ || agnyupakaraṇarāśitrayasya pratyekaṃ viṣayaṃ darśayannāha || tatra pippalyajāśakṛdgodaṃtaśaraśalākāstvaggatānāṃ || tvaggatānām iti || vātakaphakṛtānāṃ suptyādi vikārāṇāṃ || jāṃbavauṣṭhetaralauhāmāṃsagatānāṃ || māṃsagatānāṃ vātakaphajavikārāṇāṃ |. kṣaudraguḍasnehāḥ śirāsnāyusaṃdhyasthigatānāṃ || atrāpi vātakaphasaṃbhūtānām iti bodhavyaṃ || nanu kāśyapena muninā sirādiṣv agnikarma pratiṣiddhaṃ |. tathā ca tad vacanaṃ || nasirāsnāyusaṃdhyasthimarmasv api kathaṃcana || daṃśasyotkarttanaṃ kāryaṃ dāho vā bhiṣajāgninā iti || iha tu sirādiṣv api agnikarmoktaṃ || itthaṃ ca śāstrāṃtaravirodhaḥ || tanna || atrāpi sirā snāyusaṃdhyasthichedād raktātipravṛttau vyāpatpratīkāyāgnikarmoktaṃ || na punaḥ sirādigatarogochedanāya || yato māṃsadāhād eva sirādirogo chedo jāyata eva || tathā bhadraśaunakaḥ || tvaṅmāṃsasaṃśrito vāyus tvagdāhenaiva śāmyati || māṃsadagdhena śāmyaṃti sirāsnāyvasthisaṃdhijā iti |. tasya kālaṃ sāpavādaṃ nirddiśannāha ||

|| tatrāgnikarma sarvarttuṣu kuryād iti utsargaḥ || anyatra śaradgrīṣmābhyām ity apavādaḥ |. śaradgrīṣmayor apyavasthāyāṃ pravṛttim āha ||

tatrāpyātyayike 'gnikarmasādhye vyādhau tatpratyanīkaṃ vidhikṛtveti ||

tasyāgnisamānasyatrāpīti || śaradgrīṣamyor apīti || ā tyayike āśuprāṇavināśake || tatpratyanīkaṃ vighiṃdhi kṛtveti || tasyāgnisamānasya śaradgrīṣmābhidhānasya kratoḥ pratyanīkavidhi viparitavidhānaṃ śītāchādanabhojanapradehādikaṃkṛtvā agnikarma kuryād ity anuvarttate || atra pāṭhe || kecid vidhiśabdaṃ na paṭhaṃti || sarvā'gnikarmāṃgavidhim āha ||

sarvavyādhiṣu ca pichalamannaṃ bhuktavataḥ ||

tatrāpy agnikarma kuryād iti pratyekaṃ saṃbadhyate || pichalamantraṃ pichalavīryamantraṃ |. śītamṛdupichalānāṃ vīryāṇāṃ pittaghnatvāt || tatra pradeśeṣu bhojanasya pratiṣedham āha || mūḍhagarbhāśmarībhagaṃdarodarārśomukharogeṣv abhuktavataḥ |. kecid atra mūḍhagarbhāśmarītyādi pāṭhaṃ na paṭhaṃti || agnikarmaṇyekīyakaṃ mataṃ darśayannāha || ||

tatra dvidham agnikarmāhureke tvagdagdhaṃ māṃsadagdhaṃ ca || iha tu sirāsnāyusaṃdhyasthiṣvapi na pratiṣiddho 'gniḥ ||

sirādiṣv apy agnikarma karttavyam ity arthaḥ | pūrvaṃ vyākhyātaḥ || sirādiṣv api agni karmavidhirātyayike vyādhāveva || nānyatretyeke vyākhyā vyākhyānayaṃti || tvag ādiṣu karmaṇikṛte prativiṣayaṃ bhedalakṣaṇaṃ darśayan āha ||

tatra śabdaprādurbhāvā durgandhatā tvagsaṃkocaś ca tvagdagdhe || kapotavarṇatā alpaśvayathuvedanatā śuṣkasaṃkucitavraṇatā māṃsadagdhe || kṛṣṇonnatavraṇatā snāvasaṃnirodhaś ca śirāsnāyudagdhe || rukṣāruṇatā karkkaśasthiravraṇatā ca saṃdhyasthidagdhe |.

sthiravraṇatā kaṭhiṇatā || rogabhedāicharīrāvayavaviśeṣeṣv agnyavacāraṇaṃ darśayannāha||

tatra śirorogādhi akṣimaṃthayo bhrūlalāṭaśaṃkhapradeṣeśeṣu dahet ||

adhiemaṃtho 'kṣirogobhisyaṃdapūrvakaḥ || bhrūvau akṣikūṭopari romarājī || śaṃkhau bhrūkarṇayor madhyaṃ vatmadeśe yathā agnyavacāraṇaṃ || tathā darśayannāha || vartmarogeṣv ārdranaktakapratichannāṃ dṛṣṭiṃ kṛtvā varmaromakupān dahed ity anuvarttate || vartmanetrāchādanaṃ || ārdranaktaka ārdrakapaṭaḥ || śeṣaviṣayam avasthābhedena darśayannāha ||

tvagmāṃsaśirāsnāyusaṃdhyasthisthitetyugrarujivāyāvuchritakaṭhinasuptamāṃse vradraṇe graṃthyarśorbudabhagaṃdarā pacīślīpadacarmakīlatilakālakāṃtravṛddhisaṃdhisirāchedanādiṣu nāḍaiīśoṇitātipravṛttiṣu cāgnikarma kuryāt ||

aty ugrarujivāyāv ity ugraśūle vāyau || uchritakaṭhinasuptamāṃse vraṇa iti |. uchritamutsedhavat || suptasumacetanaṃ || nāḍīti vraṇaviśeṣaḥ || praṇidhānākāraviśeṣam āha ||

tatra valayabiṃduvilekhāpratisāraṇānīti dahanaviśeṣāḥ ||

vyādhimūle valayam iva valayaṃ || śalākāgranirmito biṃdur iva biṃduḥ || tīryagṛjuvakrā vividhā lekhā vilekhā || taptaśalākāprabhṛtibhir avagharṣaṇaṃ pratisāraṇaṃ || viśeṣā iti || āśrayavyādhivaśenākṛtibhedāḥ |. tatra valayetyādigadyasyādau kecid rogākṛtiṃm avekṣyeti paṭhaṃti || sa ca nibaṃdhakārair na paṭhitaḥ || kutaḥ || tasyārthasyāgrimaślekenaivoktatvāt || valayādi dahanaviśeṣeṇāraṃbhahetuṃ parihāryāṇi ca darśayitum āha ||

bhavati cātra || rogasya saṃsthānam avekṣya samyak narmasya marmāṇi valāvalaṃ ca |. vyādhiṃ tathārttuṃ ca samyak tatodhyavasyed bhiṣagnikarmaḥ ||

rogasya graṃthyādeḥ saṃsthānam āyatādyākāraṃ || etena valayādyāraṃbhahetuḥ kathitaḥ |. parihāryāṇi ca kathayannāha || narasya marmāṇītyādi || valāvalam iti || āturasyeti śeṣaḥ || valavati āture karmādhikāraḥ || abalavati parihāraḥ || vyādhiṃ vātakaphātmakaṃ tatra agnikarmādhikāraḥ || parihāras tu raktapittādau || ṛtum iti || hemaṃtādi pravṛttiviṣayaṃ |. apravṛttis tu śaradgrīṣmayoḥ || avekṣya samyag iti || atra ekasminn eva śloke ekārthaśabdadvayakaraṇaṃ pravṛttinivṛttir ubhayor apy avekṣaṇe yatnaḥ | kārya iti pratipādanārthaṃ || adhyavasyet kuryād ity arthaḥ || prathamasya avekṣyetyetasya sthānesya viditveti kecit paṭhaṃti || viditvā jñātvā || idānīṃ samyagdhagdagdhaṃ cikitsannāha ||

tatra samyag dagdhe madhyusarppibhyāṃm abhyaṃgaḥ ||

agnikarmadūṣitaraktapittayoḥ prāsādāya vedanopaśamāya ca || agninivṛttiviṣayaṃ darśayannāha ||

athemān agninā pariharet || pittaprakṛtimaṃtaḥ śoṇitaṃ bhinnakoṣṭham anuddhṛtaśalyaṃ bālaṃ vṛddhaṃ bhīrum anekavraṇa pīḍitam asvedyāṃś ceti ||

aṃtaḥśoṇitaṃ bhinnakoṣṭham iti || itthaṃbhūtasya puruṣasya śoṇitanirodhenadāhapākādi saṃbhavāt |. anekavraṇapīḍitam ity asya sthāne kecit anekavyādhiparipīḍitam iti paṭhaṃti || asvedyāḥ pāṃḍurmehīraktapittatṛṣārtta ity ādayaḥ || valayādiprakārāt prakārāṃtareṇa agnidagdhalakṣaṇaṃ vaktum āha ||

ata ūrdhvam itarathādagdhaṃ vakṣyāmaḥ || || tatra snigdhaṃ rukṣaṃ vāśrity a dravyam agni dahaṃti || agnisaṃtapto hi snehaḥ sūkṣmasirānusāritvāt tvagādīn anupraviśya āśu dahati ||tasmāt snehadagdhedhikārujo bhavataṃti ||

itathādagdham iti || prakārāṃtareṇa vaidyād ṛte pramād dagdhaṃ ||tatra snigdhaṃ rūkṣyaṃ cāśrity a dravyam agni dahatīti || dravyaṃ dagdhaṃ sarppirādi || rukṣyaṃ dravyaṃ kāṣṭhapāṣāṇaādiloṣṭhādi || tatra agnidagdhaṃ vaidyadoṣāt pramādād vā caturvidhaṃ darśayannāha ||

tatra pluṣṭaṃ durddagdhaṃ samyag dagaddham atidagdhaṃ ceti caturvidham agnidagdhaṃ ||

pluṣṭadurddagdhayor hīnadagdhatvepi prathakkaraṇaṃ lakṣaṇacikitsābhedāt || tatra pluṣṭam ity ādi gaṇanayaiva catuḥsaṃkhyā ladhbā || punaś caturvidham itikaraṇaṃ pluṣṭadurddagdhabhyāṃ bhedābhyāṃ hīnadagdhasya tripakāradāhaśaṃkānirāsārthaṃ || eṣāṃ lakṣa ṇam āha || tatra yad vivarṇaṃ pluṣyate 'timātraṃ tadapluṣṭaṃ tatra teṣu madhye vivarṇaṃ prākṛtavarṇād anyavarṇaṃ pluṣyate atimātraṃ atyarthaṃ datpratyate || na sphoṭotpattiḥ syāt || anye tu || atra pluṣṭam atimātraṃ vivarṇaṃ yat pluṣyāt iti paṭhaṃti vyākhyānayaṃti |. atimātraṃ vivarṇaṃ yat pluṣyata iti || agnitāpenocchinna iva bhavati || vivarṇam atra pāṃḍuvarṇaṃ || yatrottiṣṭhaṃti sphoṭās tīvrāś coṣadāharāgapākaveda nāś cirāc copaśāmyaṃti || taddurddagdhaṃ || coṣa ākṛṣyata iva vedanāviśeṣaḥ || dāho bhasmasāt bhavatīva || rāgo raktatā vedanā tuṣādayaḥ |. samyag dagdham anavagāḍhaṃ tālavarṇaṃ susaṃsthitaṃ || pūrvalakṣaṇayuktaṃ ca || anavagāḍham atidagdhaṃ lakṣaṇarahitaṃ | tālavarṇaṃ pakvatālaphalavarṇam ity arthaḥ || pakvatālavarṇam ity eke paṭhaṃti || apare tu tālapakvaphalavarṇaṃ || susaṃsthitaṃ atyunnatāvanatādidoṣavarjitaṃ || pūrvalakṣaṇayuktaṃ ceti || tvaṅmāṃsasirāsnāyusaṃdhyasthidāhaliṃgayuktaṃ || atidagdhe māṃsāvalaṃbanaṃ gātraviśleṣaḥ sirāsnāyusaṃdhyasthivyāpādānam atimātraṃ jvaradāhapipā sāmūrchāś copadravā bhavaṃti || vraṇaś ca asya cireṇa rohati || ruḍhaś ca vivarṇo bhavati || gātraviśleṣā viṣaṭanaṃ || vyāpādanaṃ hiṃsanaṃ || atimātraśabdo jvarādibhiḥ saha pratyekaṃ saṃbadhyate || mūrchāś ceti || cakārāt vakṣamāṇāparāgnipluṣṭapratapanādikarmaprasādhakarmam iti jñeyaṃ || idānīṃ sarvāgnidagdheṣu cikitsārthaṃ viśiṣṭadūṣyadoṣayo dṛṣṭiṃ darśayannāha ||

bhavati cātra || agninā kopitaṃ raktaṃ bhṛśaṃ jaṃtoḥ prakupyati |. tatas tenaiva vegena pittam asyābhyudīryate ||

tatas tadanaṃtaraṃ || tenaivāgninā raktena cyetyarthaḥ || kutaḥ punaḥ prādhānyenāgni dagdhepi pittam evodīryate || ity āha ||

tulyavīrye ubhe hyete rasato dravyatas tathā |. tenāsya vedanā tīvrā prakṛtyā ca vidahyate || sphoṭāḥ śīghraṃ prajāyaṃte jvaras tṛṣā ca bādhate ||

hi yasmāt kāraṇāt | ete dve 'pi agnipitte | tulyavīrye uṣṇavīvīrye | rasāt dve 'pi kaṭuke || dravyato dravyād api tulye || tathāhi | sadṛśa evādhāro vahneeḥ pittasyāpi || dravyaṃ cātra rasādyādhāra ucyate |. tataḥ kāraṇāt tenāt tenāgninā asya pittasya kopitasya vedanādāhādikā bhavaṃtīti vākyaśeṣaḥ || prakṛtyā ca vidahyata iti || prakṛtyā svabhāvena vidahyate vidāham upayāti || tābhyām eva raktapittābhyāṃ sphoṭā jvarādayaś ca || śīghraṃ prajāyaṃta iti || anye ubhe i tyatra raktapitte iti vyākhyānayaṃti || uṣṇavīryatvaṃ ca | madhurarasasyāpi raktapittasya yāṃtrikekṣurasavidvidāhitvāt || dravyata iti || ete dve api raktapitte dravyād api tulye tulye || dravyaśabdenātra hetvād hārau kathyete tad yathā || taktapittayor dvayor api tejo hetu |. ādhāraś ca dvayor api teja eveti ||

dagdhasyopaśamārthāya cikitsā saṃprakṣyate |. pluṣṭasyāgnipratapanaṃ kāryam uṣṇa tathauṣadhaṃ ||

agnipratapanaṃ svedanaṃ || uṣṇam auṣadham iti || ālepanānnapānādikaṃ || kutaḥ kāraṇāt atra śarīram upacaryate nāgnikopitaṃ raktapittam ity āha ||

śarīre svinnabhūyiṣṭhe svinnaṃ bhavati śoṇitaṃ |

svinnabhūyiṣṭhe atyarthaṃ svinne || svalpam api raktaṃ yadi asvinnaṃ bhavati |. tadā raktapittopaśamanena śītopacāreṇaduḥkham utpādayatīti darśayannāha ||

prakṛtyā hyudakaṃ śītaṃ skaṃdayatyatiśoṇitaṃ |. tasmāt sukhayati hyuṣṇaṃ ma tu śītaṃ kathaṃcana |.1||

skaṃdayatyatiśoṇitam iti | raktam atyarthaṃ styānatāṃ nayatītyarthaḥ || styānena raktena ca || ruddhamārgo vāyurūṣmāpyanirgachan pluṣṭe śūlaśopharāgādikāṃ vedanāṃ karoti || ataḥ śītā kriyā na sukhaṃ karoti |. uṣṇakriyā punā raktavilāyanakarī bhavati || ataḥ rūṣmaniḥsaraṇavātānulomahetuḥ sā ati sukhayati || durddagdhakriyāṃ nirddiśannāha ||

śītām uṣṇāṃ ca durddagdhe kriyāṃ kuryāt bhiṣak punaḥ || ghṛtālepanasekāṃs tu śītām evāsya kārayet |. ghṛtālepanasekāṃs tu śītānevāsya kārayet ||

durddagdhe 'vagāḍhamūladagdhabhāgasya svinnaraktasya nirvāpaṇārthaṃ śitāṃ kriyāṃ kuryāt |. anavagāḍhamūladagdhabhāgasyāsvinnaraktasya vilāpanārtham uṣṇāṃ kriyāṃ kuryāt || anye tu śītāṃ dāhātiśaye || śītātiśaye tūṣṇām iti || punaḥ kiṃ kuryād ity āha || ghṛtālepanāidīn śītān eva kārayed iti || evaṃ sukhī bhavati || vraṇarohaṇaṃ ca || samyag dagdhe cikitsām āha || ||

samyak dagdhe tugākṣīrīplakṣacaṃdanagairikaiḥ |. sāmṛtaiḥ sarpiṣā snigdhair ālepaṃ kārayed bhiṣak || grāmyānūpaudakaiś cainaṃ piṣṭair māsaiḥ pralepalayet |. pittavidradhivac cainaṃ saṃtatoṣmāṇam ācaret ||

tugākṣīrī vaṃśarocanā | anye tu vaṃśarocanānukāri pārthivaṃ dravyaṃ |. plakṣaḥ parppaṭī || caṃdanaṃ raktacaṃdanaṃ || sāmṛtair iti || guḍūcīsahitaiḥ || etais tugākṣīryādidravyaighratasniigdhīkṛtaiḥ pittapratyanīkam aviśoṣiṇaṃ lepaṃ samyak dagdhe kārayed ity arthaḥ || vātaśāṃtyarthaṃ pralepam āha || grāmyetyādi || gramyā aśvādayaḥ |. ānūpā varāhamahiṣādayaḥ || audakāāḥ kūrmādayaḥ || pittavidradhivac cainaṃ saṃtatoṣmāṇam ācaret iti || enaṃ samyag dagdhaṃ || saṃtatoṣmāṇaṃ balavattaroṣmāṇaṃ || atidagdhe cikitsām āha || ||

atidagdhe viśīrṇāni māṃsānudhṛtya śītalāṃ |. kriyāṃ kuryād bhiṣak paś cāśālidatuṃdulakaṃḍanaiḥ || tiṃdukītvakkapālair vā ghṛtamiśraiḥ pralepayet |. vraṇaṃ gaḍūcīpatrair vā chādayed athavaidakaiḥ || kriyāṃ ca kuryād akhilāṃ bhiṣak pittavisarppavat ||

viśīṇāni avalaṃbitāni | paś cā chālitaṃdulakaṃḍanair iti || śālitaṃdulakaṃḍanodbhavaiḥ guṃḍanaiḥ || karṇair ity arthaḥ |. karṇaiś ca cūrṇaprayogakāle avacūrṇayed ity adhyāhāraḥ || tiṃdukītvakkapālair ceti tiṃdukī valkalakarpparaiḥ |. tiṃdukītvacātiṃdukīvalkalena | kapālai mṛtkarparair ity anye || tiṃdukītvakkaṣāyair veti kecit paṭhaṃti |. tiṃdukyā yā tvak | tayā pralepayet || kaṣāyāḥ kaṣāyavṛkṣāś ca ye tair apītyarthaḥ || anye tu kaṣāyaśabdena cūṇam āhuḥ || tatra tiṃdukīvalkalacūṇair ity arthaḥ || audakaiḥ padmotpalādipatraiḥ || pittaraktopadrutaṃ vraṇaṃ || gaḍūcyādi patrachādanenoṣmāṇaṃ tyaktvā sukhaṃ saṃrohati || sarveṣv agnidagdheṣu ropaṇārthaṃ ciki tsāṃ darśaryannāha || ||

madhuchiṣṭaṃ samadhukaṃ rodhraṃ sarjarasaṃ tathā || maṃjiṣṭhāṃ caṃdanaṃ mūrvāṃ piṣṭvā sarpir vipācayet |. sarveṣām agnidagdhānām etad ropaṇam uttamaṃ || ||

idaṃ ca samānyaṃ ropaṇaṃ ghṛtaṃ kecit paṭhaṃti nanu nivaṃdhakārā iti || sopayogitvān mayāpi likhitaṃ || snehadagdhe cikitsām āha || ||

snehadagdhe kriyāṃ rūkṣāṃ viśeṣeṇāvacārayet ||

rūkṣadagdhe punar uktām api snigdhāṃ kriyām avacārayet || idānīṃ kaṃṭhanāsādiṣu karmaṇi kṛte dhumopaghātalakṣaṇaṃ cikitsāṃ darśayannāha || ||

ata urddhvaṃ pravakṣyāmi dhūmopahatalakṣaṇaṃ || śvasiti kṣauti cātyarthaṃ mapyādhamatikāśata |. cakṣuṣoḥ paridāhaś ca rāgaś caivopajāyate || sadhūmakaṃ niḥśvasati ghreyam anyanna vetti ca |. tathaiva ca rasānsarvān śrutiś cāsyopahanyate || tṛṣṇā dāhajvarayutaḥ sīdaty atha ca mūrchati || |. dhūmopahata ity eṣa ||

śvasiti śvāsaṃ karoti || kṣauti cātyartham iti |. atiśayena chikkati || ādhamati ādhmānayukto bhavati || rāgaḥ pītalohitatā akṣṇoḥ | ghreyam anyanna vetti veti || nāsāgatadoṣeṇa dhūmād anyat ghreyaṃ na vetti || ghreyaṃ tāvanna vetti |. anyat spṛśyaṃ dṛśyaṃ ca na vetti ity anye || rasān sarvān ity atra na vettīti saṃbadhyate || śrutiś ca asyopahanyata iti || na śṛṇotītyarthaḥ || śrotragatadoṣeṇa || tṛṣṇādāhajvarayuta iti || sparśadoṣeṇa |. sīdati kriyāsvasamartho bhavatītyarthaḥ || ||

śṛṇu tasya cikitsitaṃ | sarpir ikṣurasaṃ drākṣāṃ payo vā śarkkarāṃbu vā |. madhurāmlau rasau vāpi vamanāyaā pradāpayet || vamataḥ koṣṭhaśuddhiḥ syāt dhūmagaṃdhiś ca na śyati |. vidhinānena śāmyaṃti sadanakṣavathujvarāḥ || dāhamūrchātṛḍādhmānasvāsākāsāś ca dāruṇāḥ |. madhurair lavaṇāmlaiś ca kaṭukaiḥ kvalagrahaiḥ || samyag gṛhṇātīṃdriyārthān manaś cāsya prasīdati |. śirauvirecanaṃ cāsmai dadyād yogena śāstravit || dṛṣṭi viśudhyate cāsya śirogrīvaṃ ca dehinaḥ a vidāhalaghusnigdham āhāraṃ cāsya kalpayet ||

sarppir ikṣurasam ity eko yogaḥ || drākṣāṃ payo veti dvi tīyaḥ || śarkkarāṃbu veti tṛtīyaḥ || madhurāmlau rasau vāpīti caturthaḥ || sadanam aṃgaglāniḥ || yogena mātrayā |. idānīṃ dagdhacikitsāprasaṃge na dagdhasadṛśasya cikitsāṃ darśayannāha || ||

uṣṇa vātātapair dagdhe śītaḥ kāryo vidhiḥ sadā ||

uṣṇavāto graiṣmikaḥ śārado vā || uṣṇavātenātapena ca dagdha iiva dagdhaḥ || uṣṇavātātapābhyām iti dvicane prāpte bahuvacanam anuktoṣṇaprāpaṇā rthaṃ || sadā sthāne kecit vraṇe iti || paṭhaṃti vyākhyānayaṃti casusrutapathasuddhi-01 || vraṇe iti tvag ādi vraṇavastu || ||

śītavarṣānilairdagdhe snigdham uṣṇaś ca śasyate ||

śītaṃ himaṃ himadagdhas tuṣāradagdha itilokoktyā | himadagdhepi dāhasādṛśyam asti || varṣānila iti || vṛṣṭisaṃyukto vāyuḥ || tatrāpi bahuvacanam anuktaśīta prāpaṇārthaṃ || dagdhasthāne kecit hata iti paṭhaṃti || ||

tathāpi tejasā dagdhe sidhir nāsti kathaṃcaneti ||

atitejasā vajrāgninā || tathātitejasā dagdho na dhyati kathaṃcaneti yat kṛtaṃ || tat kiṃcid dagdhepi jīvati pratikārayet || snehābhyaṃgaparīṣekaiḥ pradehaiś ca tathā bhiṣag iti paṭhaṃti | taṃ ca nibaṃdhakārā na paṭhaṃti || ||
