yathāvaraṇādinendriyasyaiva prakāśaśaktiḥ pra-

va saṃvedanaśaktir niyamyate | yena vicchinnārthābhi-

ñjate | na tu tatvavidyayāvilīkriyata iti nāḍi-
kādidarśanena sūcayati | nāḍikādibhir i-
ty ādigrahaṇād avadhānapratighātamūrtyajanādyava-
rodhaḥ yatraivaṃ hy avadhānaṃ tad evāvadhāryate | mūrtya-
bhijano rūpaṃ saundaryaṃ tenāpahṛto 'nyan na paśyati |
ye tarhy ākāramātraniveśinaḥ sanniveśādiśa-
bdās te dharmamātram abhidadhyur iti sārvatrikī
dravyapadārthavyavasthā viśīryetety āśaṅkyāha—
upādhimātrasvabhāveṣv api sanni
veśādyākāreṣu sanniveśādiśabdāḥ paramārthata
s tatvād avyatirekānupādhīnāṃ tanniṣkarṣe svarū
pasyāsvarūpatvāt tadātmanaiva satvāt tad eva nitya
m upādhimad dravyam evam avyapy abhia
taṃ tvabhavati | tatvam ātmā hy upādhīnāṃ na tu te ta-
syātmāna iti vyāpakatvāt sarva evopacayas te ta-

satye dve rūpe 'staḥ | advaitahāniprasaṅgāt· kiṃ
tu pāramārthikam ekam evādvayaṃ tatvaṃ tac cānādisi-
ddhāvidyāvilasitasahapramātṛviṣayatayā ya-
thātatvam anavabhāsamānam ity anekavikalpaparigharighaṭitākārarūpatayā vyavahāram avatarati—
tathā ca tad evākāranānātvonnīyamānasvarūpa-
bhedaṃ cakāsti | nānyat_ tadvyatiriktasyābhāvāt_
tatra ca yo 'yaṃ prakāśaḥ sā vidyā aprakāśas tu
kaścit_ pramāṇasiddho nirūpyaḥ tataś ca yo '-
yaṃ bhedaprakāśaḥ saivaikaghanaprakāśābhāvaḥ prakā-
śavidyācchedo vidyā tatra ca vicchinnānvayo vi-
cchedo 'vadhāryate iti vicchinnaprakāśaḥ satyo
vidyaiva vicchedamātraṃ tv aprathanasvabhāva na kiṃ-
cid avidyeti paramārthavicāre na kiṃcid atatvaṃ vya-
vatiṣṭhate | tatvam eva yathāpratibhāsaṃ bhedena ca sakāsad avicāritaramaṇīyaṃ prapañco tatvam i-
ti vyavahriyata iti brahmavidaḥ tathā cāvicā-
ritaramaṇīyaṃ parīkṣayā vyavasthāpitaṃ tattva-
m evābhinnaṃ tīrthikā bhedadarśanavyavasthitā bhe
dātmakam atatvaṃ manyanta iti vicāreṇāvidyāvila-
ye brahmaikaniṣṭhatā darśanānāṃ tad uktam | satyā vi-
evaṃ tena tena tana rū-
peṇa brahmaiva vikalpitaṃ bhavatīti sarvaśabdā-
nāṃ tattadupādhimukhaṃ tad eva viṣayaḥ siddha i-

paramārthato vikalpitaṃ vika-
lpānām aviṣayo 'yaṃ tatvaṃ tad eva vyavahāre 'nya-
syābhāvād vikalpamānaṃ vikalparūpaṃ nānāvidha-
bhedāvabhāsamānādisiddhāvidyāvaśāt_ sama-
valambate | jīvātmabhāvenāvatiṣṭhamānaṃ tadgata-
tveneti mūrtivivartāśrayadik_śaktipravibhaktade-
śanānātvamittapaurvāparyālambanasahaṃ evam akā-
lakalitam api tat tatvam anādinidhanaṃ kālākhya-ś__niveśitapratibandhābhya-
nujñāvaśāt_ janmādibhāvavikārādhīyamāna-
paurvāparyaṃ cakāstīty arthaḥ ||
nanv avidyamānasya tatve pratibhā·
nayuktam ity āśaṅkya dṛṣṭāntenopapādayati—
vijñānavāde viṣayākārasya bhā-
vato satyatvān nīlādis tadgato dharmo jaḍo jaḍe
jñāne saṃbhavī atyantam iti jaḍājaḍayor na kena
cid aṃśena sārūpyam ity āha— tathā coktam—
ekadeśena sārūpye sarvaṃ syāt sarvavedanam |
sarvātmanātmasārūpye jñānam ajñānatāṃ vrajet ||

viśuddhabodhasvabhāvam apy avidyāyāṃ vyavahāre '-
vabhāsata itīṣṭam· nidarśanāntaram apy āha—
sāṅkhyasyāpi kṛtaṃ pradhānaṃ ta-
tvaṃ sarvavikāragranthi bījāvastham abhinnam anupasṛ-
ṣṭam eva mahadādivikārarūpaiḥ paramārthataḥ tad dhi
mahadādivikāraśaktiyuktaṃ guṇasāmyāvasthātma-
kaṃ guṇavaiṣamyavimardaāvaśopajāyamānavikāra-
nānātvāt_ vilakṣaṇam eva· atha ca vyavahāre ma-
hadādivikārarūpāvadhāraṇena vinā tadupala-
mbhāsaṃbhava iti sarvadarśaneṣv avidyānvayini
evam asatyākāropadhānena tatvapratibhāsaḥ
kathaṃ puna-
r avagamyate | ākārā asatyās tato 'nyat satya-

ta iti bhāṣyānusāreṇaitad ucyate | tathā hi ta-
troktaṃ kanakam ity eva satyam· punar apareyākṛtyā
yuktaṃ khadirāṅgārasadṛśe suvarṇakuṇḍale bhava
iti anenaiva dṛṣṭāntena vikārāpekṣayā bhi-

ntaravikāragrāmāpāye sarvānte 'vatiṣṭhamāna-
m anapāyi brahmarūpaṃ satyam· tad eva ca bhāvato
nityam· āpekṣakaṃ tu jātyādīnāṃ vyava-
tir avatiṣṭhamānā gotvādikā nityā· tatrā
pratyāyyam· tatrāpi saṃvidrūpasyānapāyino '
nugamāviṣayākāravivekaṃ tad eva pāramārthi-
kaṃ satyam iti neti nety upāsīteti bhabhāvanā-
ya codyate saṃvic ca paśyantīrūpā parā vāk
śabdabrahmamayīti brahmatatvaṃ śabdāt_ pāramā-
rthikā
śabdavācyaṃ tatrāpy āntaropādānaviśrāntyā
vācakatvasya vyavasthāpanāt_ svarūpāntargata-
syārthasya vācyatvād vācyavācakatayor api bhā
nantaram ihābhidhāsyati | tasya śabdārthasamba-
ndharūpam ekasya mṛśyata iti
yad uktaṃ tadātmeva
ca tat_ tatvam atyantam atadātmaka iti tatrātya-
ntam atadātmakatāṃ tāvad vyācaṣṭe ||
vaikārikasarvavyavahārātītatvāt
vati | tathā hy astīti na śakyate vyavahartum |
sattopādhikasya svarūpasya tat tatsvabhāvā-
yogāt tenātmanā vyavahārānuvatārāt_ nāpi nāstīti abhāvopādhikasyāpy atatvāt_ pra-

saṃkhyopadhīyamānarūpaviśeṣaṃ tatvaṃ na bhavati |

atha ca tadā-
tmevāvidyāyāvyam avadhāryata ity āha—
bhāvābhāvākārabhāsajananaśa-
kti tad evāsti nāstīti ca sattāsattopādhi-
kavyavahārasahaṃ bhāvatas tu nissaktāsaktaṃ
nidaḥsadasat paraṃ brahma | vyāvahārikaṃ caikāne-
kavyavahāraṃ jātivyaktātmanā tad eva varta-
yati· saṃkhyopādhikam api ca evaṃ saṃyogo-
pādhikam api anyasaṃsargitayāvabhāsanāt
evaṃ vivekāvasāyas tatra tathā samastavikā-
rātmanā janyamānam ivākāśādyātmanā kūṭa-
sthatayā tad evāvabhāsata iti iti tadātmaiva
tat tatvam ity uktam |
evaṃ ca kṛtvā sarvasya ta-
nmayatvād virodhino 'pi vyavahārās tad e-

bhāvato dvayarūpatā tatra hy āntare tatve śrutya-

darśanaśabdena ca pradhānakriyānirdeśa-

kasya sarvabījasya yasya ceyam anekadhā bhoktṛ
bhoktavyarūpeṇa bhogarūpeṇa ca sthitir iti brahma-
kāṣṭhaṇḍe pratipāditam | tatraiva ca satatvani-
rṇayo 'smābhiḥ vyadhāyi | prakhyopākhyātmaka-
tvāc ca vyavahārasya dvitve

tāvirodhāt· na hi śaśaśaṅgāt_ kasyacid u-
dbhavo dṛśyate | asti ca vijñānarūpatayā ja-
gaty anvaya iti tatpūrvakam evaitat_ tathā ca vakṣyati |

tatra cidrūpasya cicchaktir apariṇāminī-
darśanam· api tu vivartapakṣaḥ viśeṣaś cāna-

te | kāraṇāntaravyudāsaś cādvayasiddhau vi

m anu parivartante | nirupādhino vāgviṣayātī-

brahmavidaḥ ghaṭādiśabdāpekṣayā tv ātmādiśa-

sṛṣṭeḥ sphuṭam uktam | bāhyopādānā tu jāgarā-
yām aiśvarī
daḥ | avidyāpravṛttirūpatvāt_ punar asatyatā sa-
mānaiva kevalaṃ satyām avidyāyām ayam aparo mo-
haś cicchakter āpārato nidrā nāma tadvaśād atrai-
va bhrāntatvābhimāno 'rvāgdṛśāṃ paramārthadṛśāṃ
gratsvapnādyavasthāgatamūrtikriyāvivartarūpam a-
satyam· anvayicitsāmānyamātraṃ tu paramā-
rtha iti siddham· viruddham upalabhyata iti vada-
nn avidyāyāṃ virodham abhyupaiti etad eva hy avi-upannatve vidyaiva
syāt | tasmād asatprapañcaprakāśanaśaktiḥ brahma-
ṇo 'nādisiddhā grāhyagrāhakayugaḻaṃ svānurū
pam uparacayya jagannāṭyam ātanotīty avicāri
taramaṇīyām imām apanayaṃti tatvadṛśaḥ ||
