This manuscript was part of the private collection of H. T. Colebrooke, who then presented it to the East India Company Library in 1819 (Rocher & Rocher 2012, 139). It is now held in the India Office collection at the British Library. The manuscript extends from the beginning of the Jātisamuddeśa to the end of the Kriyāsamuddeśa. The writing is very neat and legible, boxed in by a carefully rendered red, yellow, and black border. Corrections have been made using yellow paste. The manuscript has been bound into book form. The colophon dates it to the third month of saṃvat 1862 (1805 CE).

na cātra kālabhedas tu gṛhyate

bhāvābhāvādhikārāva...bhāsajanaśakti tad evāsti ca sattāsattopādhikavyavahāramahāram ahaṃbhāvas tu niḥsattāsattaṃ niḥsadasat paraṃ brahma vyavahārikaṃ vaikānekavyavahāraṃ jātivyaktyātmanā tad eva vartayati saṃkhyopādhikam api ca evaṃ saṃoyogopādhikam api tu anyasaṃsargitayāvabhāsanāt || evaṃ vivekāvaya...s tatra tathā samastavikārātmanā janyamānam ivākāśādyātmanā kūṭasthayā tad evāvabhāsa iti tatmaiva tatvam ity uktaṃ ||
evaṃ ca kṛtvā sarvasya tanmayatvād virodhino pi vyavahārās tatraivopalīyaṃta ity āha
tasya śabdārthasaṃbaṃdhaṃ rūpam ekasya dṛśyate ||
tad dṛśyadarśanaṃ draṣṭā darśane ca prayojanaṃ ||
vācyavācakasaṃbaṃdhānā Lbhāvato dvayarūpato tatra hy āṃtare tatvaśrutyarthaśaktī saṃsṛjyeta iti vivartadaśāyāṃ śrutyarthaśākhātmanā ta¦syaiva vikāsād vācyavācakarūpatayā bhedāvasā...yau jñānajñeyaivabhidyeti brahmakāṃḍa eva prapaṃco yam artho smā¦bhir nirṇīta iti tata evāvadhāryaṃ ||
dṛśyarūpa...tayā tasyaiva vivartaḥ || tathā hi dṛśyaṃ tāvad bhāvajātaṃ saṃvidrūpārūḍha vedyatvād eva cedam ekam aparārthaprakāśasya prakāśatayā yogād iti pūrvakāṃḍe dvitīyasiddhau ca vitatya vicāritaṃ draṣṭāpi jīvātmā avidyākṛtāvachedo niyataḥ satvaṃ sārī bhoktā brahmaiva cetanatvād bhāvato bhedānupapatter iti | tatraivāveditaṃ || anena ca pradhānakartṛkarmarūpakārakaniścayena kārakatirasyāpekṣan_ si¦ddharūpo vivartaḥ pratipāditaḥ ||
darśanaśabdena ca pradhānakriyānirdeśakena kriyāṃtarasyāpekṣāt sādhyakriyā¦vivarto py uktaḥ kālaśaktyuvachinnā hi kriyāvivartaḥ || divaśaktyavachinnasya mūrtivivarta iti mūrtikriyā¦vivartarūpaṃ viśvaṃ pratipāditaṃ ||
prayojanaśabdena ca samatikriyāphala iti nidarśana iti sādhyasādhanaphalarūpatayā viśvaṃ sakalānāyām aśeṣavivartānuguṇyaṃ brahmaṇaḥ pratipāditaṃ || ekasya sarvabījasya ceyam anekadhā noktabhoktavyarūpeṇa bhogarūpeṇa sthitir iti brahmakāṃḍe pratipāditaṃ || tatraiva ca satatvanirṇayo smābhir vyavadhāyi prakhyopākhyātmakatvāt || vyavahārasya dvitve śabdārthasaṃbaṃdharūpaṃ tad dṛśyaṃ darśanaṃ ceti bhedenātra nirdeśaḥ Letac cāviyyāmayaṃ rūpaṃ kathyete pāramārthikaṃ tu prakāśītaprapaṃcarūpaṃ vakṣyati || yatra iṣyāvasā dṛśyaṃ ca darśanaṃ cāvikalpitaṃ tasyaivārthasya śrityatvaṃ śritās traiṣyaṃtavedina ity
uktam idaṃ ākṛtisaṃhāre ṃte yad avatiṣṭhate tat satyam iti tatraitat syād ante na kiṃcid avatiṣṭhate asadam apadam evaitad viśram āvirbhavatīti āśaṃkyāpi hetunā'bhinnakāraṇapūrvakatvam anvayamukhena dṛṣṭāṃtopakramaṃ sādhayitum āha ||
vikārāpagame satyaṃ suvarṇaṃ kuṃḍale yathā ||
vikārāpagame satyāṃ tathāhuḥ prakṛtiṃ parām ||
kuṃḍalasvātmakavikārāpāye dve kuṃḍale suvarṇam ekaṃ satyam avatiṣṭhate yathā tathā pṛthivyādivikāravigame nvayinī prakṛtir abhinnā saty avatiṣṭhata iti upeyaṃ āhur ity āgamapramāṇasiddhatāṃ dhvanati brahmaṇaḥ || tathā coktaṃ || ekam eva yad āmnātaṃm iti || ātmaivedaṃ satyam iti hi śrutiḥ || upodbalamātraṃ cānumānaṃ hi tathā hi | nirupākhyād asato parāt prādurbhāvo na yuktaḥ || abhāvasya bhāvarūpatvavirodhān na hi śaśaśṛṃgāt kasyacid udbhavo dṛśyate || asti ca vijñānarūpata...yā jagaty anvaya iti tatpūrvam evaitat || tathā ca vakṣyati || nā¦bhāvo jāyato bhāvo naikabhāvo nupākhyatām iti || tasya cidrūpasya cicchaktir apariṇāminīti vikārā¦bhāvān nedaṃ sāṃkhyanayavatpariṇāmadarśanaṃ || api tu vivartapakṣaḥ || viśeṣaś cānayor vākyapadīye smābhir vyākhyātam iti tata evāvadhāryaṃ ihāpi saṃbaṃdhasamuddeśe vakṣyate kāraṇāṃtaravyudāsaś cādvayasiddhau abhihita Liti saty arthitve tata evāvagaṃtavyaḥ ||
tad evam ātmaśabdābhidheyasya brahmaṇaḥ padārthaparamārtharūpatvād dravyarūpatvam upapādya sarvaśabdavācyatvaṃ tasyaiva nigamiyitum āha |
vāyā sā sarvaśabdānāṃ śabdāś ca na pṛthak_ yataḥ |
apṛthaktve ca saṃbaṃdhatayor nānātmanor iva ||
tattadupādhiparikalpitabhedabahutayā vyavahārasyāpi vidyābhūyastve pratiniyatākāro sthīyamānarūpabhedaṃ brahmaiva sarvaśabdaviṣaya ity ukto rtha ātmā brahma tatvam ityādayo pi hi¦ śabdāḥ samavalaṃbitopādhayo 'py ātmānam unu parivartaṃte nirupādhino vāgviṣayātītatvād vā manasātītaṃ¦ hi tattvam ity upadiśaṃti brahmavida kyayadiśabdāpekṣayā tv ātmādiśabdāḥ pratyāsannāḥ sarvasya ca tanmayatvāc chabdā api tadātmikāḥ | yathāvibhaktaṃ prāk_ abhede pi ca pāramārthikasaṃvṛto lokayātrāyāṃ bhedo satya itīvaśabdaḥ ata eva dvipsasaṃbaṃdhopapattiḥ ||
nanu ceṃdraijālam idraṃ padavivṛtarūpabhedānām api bhāvānām anāvṛtya tattvam avasīya¦mānāparamārthatopadeśanam ity āśaṃkya dṛṣṭāṃtenaitat sādhayitum āha ||
ātmā yadi priyo dveṣyo vakāvācyaṃ prayojanaṃ |
viruddhāni yathaikasya svapne rūpāṇi cetasaḥ ||
ajanmani tathā nitye paurvāparyavivakṣite ||
tattve janmādirūpatvaṃ viruddham upalabhyate ||
svapnāvasthāgataḥ prapaṃco jāgarayā bādhyamānatvād asatya iti sarvavādyabhyupagamaḥ | tenaiva dṛṣṭāṃtena jā...garāyām api bhāvabhedapurītati... daśāyām ananuvṛtter asatyo vasthāpyate || yat kila sarvāvasthāsv anuLgataṃ tad eva satyaṃ tac ca saṃvinmātraṃ rūpam abādhyamānam avasthābhedas tv āgamāpāyitvād bādhite sat sukhaduḥkhā¦divat || tathā hi rāgādayaḥ sukhādayaś cāsvabhāvatvāt saṃvinmātraṃ rūpaṃ na vikurvati | tathāvasthābhedo py anekākāramuṣyopahataḥ ||
tatra svapne viruddhakāro vairavo vaikalpikī dṛṣṭiḥ pratimātṛniyatā vaikalpikīti ko bhimāno vyāpārānusārī bhoktā samavabhā...vatad a...cetanatvāt_ brahmaiva | tathā ca tāvati svātaṃtryānimittāpīśvaro pādānābhāvāt_ nābhāsyāpannakriyā priyāpriyarūpatayā rāgadveṣādimayena saṃsāramohena paravibhāgābhāgānusārī parasaṃkathādiṣu || tadāhuḥ | vedāṃtatatvanipuṇāḥ pravibhajyātmanātmānaṃ sṛṣṭvā bhāvāt pṛthagvidhā¦t sarveśvaraḥ sarvamayaḥ svapne bhoktā pravartate iti | bhokteti pratyagātmasṛṣṭir iyum uktā tasya ca sarveśvaratvāt || brahmarūpatve sṛṣṭisāmarthyam uktaṃ sarvamayatvāc cānanyopādānavicitrabhāvaracanām ātmopājñānam āhuḥ | ata eva pravibhajyātmanātmānam iti kartṛkarmabhedābhāvāc ca vaikalpikatvam asya sṛṣṭeḥ spaṣṭam uktaṃ || bāhyopādānā tu jāgarāyām aiśvarī sṛṣṭir viśvaśabdavācyā sarvapramātṛsādhāraṇī ||
sthitatvāt sthiratvagrahāvedānimittas tu bhedaḥ || avidyāpravṛttirūpatvāt punar asatyatā samānaiva kevalaṃ satyām avidyām aparo mohaś cichakter āvārako nidrā nāma tadvaśād atraiva bhaḥ || tatvābhimāne ryāgdaśā paramārthadaśāṃ tu jananamaraṇarahitaiḥ pravibhakte kūLṭasthe parasmin brahmaṇi cidānaṃdarūpe sarvam eva jagaj jāgratsvapnāvasthāgataṃ mūrtikriyāvivartarūpaṃ sa sṛtsam anvayicitsāmānyamātraṃ tu paramārtha iti siddhaṃ viruddham upalabhyata iti vadann avidyāyāṃ virodham upaiti | etad eva hy avidyāyāḥ svarūpaṃ yad anupapadyamānam apy āsopagamaṃ nayati upalabdhatve vidyaiva syāt || tasmād asatyaprapaṃcaprakārānaśaktir brahmaṇo nādisiddhā grāhyagrāhakayugalasyānurūpam uparacanā jagalādyam ātanotīty avicāritaramaṇīyām imām apanayaṃti tatvadṛśaḥ ||
