tathā hi samāsalakṣaṇena vākyeṣv asti ⸤vākyalakṣaṇaṃ na
ca samāseṣu tāthā kriyālakṣaṇaṃ na kārakeṣv asti kārakala⸤kṣaṇaṃ na
ca kriyāsv ity evaṃ sandhivigrahakṛttaddhitādilakṣaṇānām apy anyonyava⸤rgavyāpakatvenāsāmānyātmatā draṣṭavyeti
etenobhayalakṣaṇapraṇetṛtvaṃ pratyuktaṃ ⸤sāmānyalakṣaṇasambhave ubhayalakṣaṇavyavahāro pi durghaṭa eveti ||
atha ⸤viśeṣaṇalakṣaṇam eva sādhuśabdānāṃ
pāṇinibhṛtibhiḥ praṇītaṃ
tadrahita⸤tvenāyam apaśabdaḥ ity evaṃ kadācidvaṃ
bhaṇīṣi tad atyanupapannam eva |
yasmād vi⸤śeṣalakṣaṇarahitatvena viśeṣavyavahāra eva
nivāryatāṃ na śabdatvaṃ sādhutvaṃ vā ⸤taddhitalakṣaṇarahitatvena ca
kṛtsu taddhitavyavahāra eva na nivartate |
śabdatvaṃ sā⸤dhutvaṃ veti |
yathā vā pratyakṣalakṣaṇarahitatvenānumānādau pratyakṣavyavyahāra
eva L⸤na yukto na tu pramāṇavyavahāro pīti |
na ca tathā lakṣaṇābhidhāyi⸤vyākaraṇaśāstrāntargataṃ
kiṃ cid api sūtraṃ paśyāmas tatra vyākaraṇapraṇetṛpra⸤ṇītalakṣaṇāhitatvenāpy asyāpaśabdatvam iti |
atha samastasādhuśabdānugata⸤m apaśabdād vyāvṛttaṃ
sādhutvaṃ nāma sāmānyam eva sādhuśabdānāṃ lakṣaṇaṃ kaś cid vyā⸤cakṣīta
tad etad asya nirūpitārthābhidhānaṃ
athācasādeva sādhutvam avagamyate ity evaṃ kadā cil lālapī⸤pi tad etad api na
pramāṇadṛṣṭim anusaradbhiḫ pramāṇīṃkriyate |
na hy ubhayavādi⸤vipratipattyaviṣayaẖ kaś cid āgamo pi
sādhutvasadbhāvāvedaka upalabhyate |
yata⸤s sādhutvaviniścayaḫ prādurbhāvam āsādayed
vacanamātrasya ca sarvatra sulabhatvān na tato L⸤vivādagocarāpannārthaviniścayas saṃvatīti nāgamād api
sādhutvādhigama⸤ẖ kartuṃ yukta iti |
