caiva nasye ca tailam vātaharaiḥ śritaṃ || śrīveṣṭakaṃ sarjjarasaṃ gugguluṃ suradāru ca | yaṣṭimadhukacūrṇṇañ ca hitamatra pralepane || pittaraktābhighātotthaṃ jalaukābhir upācaret | pittavidradhivac ghorā bhavanti ca || calamapyuttaman dantam ato nāpahared bhiṣak | kaṣāyajātīmadanakaṭukasvādukaṇṭakaiḥ || lodhramañjiṣṭhakhadirayaṣṭyāhvaiś cāpi yatkṛtaṃ | tailaṃ saṃśodhane taddhi hanyād dantagatāṃ gatiṃ || kīrttitādantamūleṣu kriyā danteṣu vakṣyate | sukhoṣṇaḥ snehakavaḍāḥ sarppiṣastrivṛtasya vā || niryūhaś cānilaghnānān dantaharṣapramarddanāḥ | snaihikaś ca hito dhūmo nasyaṃ snaihikam eva ca || rasārase yavāgvaś ca kṣīrasantānikā ghṛtaṃ | ahinsaṃ dantamūlāni śarkkarām uddhared bhiṣak || lākṣācūrṇṇair mmadhuyutais tatastam pratisārayet | dantaharṣakriyāñ cāpi kuryānniravaśeṣataḥ || kapālakaḥ kṛcchratamas tatrāpyeṣā kriyā hitā | jayed visrāvaṇaiḥ svinnam acalaṅ krimidantakaṃ || tathāvapīḍair vvātaghnaiḥ snehagaṇḍūṣadhāraṇaiḥ | bhadradārvādivarṣābhūr lepaiḥ snigdhaiś ca bhojanaiḥ || calam uddhṛtya vā sthānaṃ daheta suṣirasya vā | tato vidārī yaṣṭyāhvaśṛṅgāṭakakaśerubhiḥ || tailan daśaguṇaṃ kṣīraṃ siddhaṃ nasye ca pūjitaṃ | hanurmmokṣasamuddhiṣṭāṃ kuryāc cārdditavat kriyāṃ || phalānyamlāni śītāmbu rūkṣānnadantadhāvanaṃ | tathātikaṭhinām bhakṣāṃ dantarogī vivarjjayet || sādhyānān dantarogānāñ cikitsitam udāhṛtaṃ || jihvāgatānāṃ sādhyānāṃ karmma vakṣyāmi siddhaye | auṣṭhaprakope 'nilaje yaduktam prāk cikitsitaṃ || kaṇṭakeṣv anilottheṣu tatkāryam bhiṣajā bhavet | pittajeṣu vighṛṣṭeṣu nisṛte duṣṭaśoṇite || pratisāraṇagaṇḍūṣā nasyañ ca madhuraṃ hitaṃ | kaṇṭakeṣu kaphottheṣu likhiteṣvasṛjaḥ kṣaye || pippalyādir mmadhuyutaḥ kāryas tu pratisāraṇaṃ || gṛhṇīyāt kavalam vāpi gaurasarṣapasaindhavaiḥ | paṭolanimbavārttākukṣārayūṣaiś ca bhojayet || upajihvāṃ tu maṇḍalāgreṇajihvopari tu yatsthitaṃ | atyādānāt sraved raktan tannimittam mriyeta saḥ || hīnacchedād bhavec chopho lālāsrāvo bhramastamaḥ | tasmād vaidyaḥ prayatnena dṛṣṭakarmmā visāradaḥ || sādhayettuṇḍikerivat | ekakālaṃ yavānnañ ca bhuñjīta snigdhamalpaśaḥ || upajihvikavac cāpi sādhayed api jihvikāṃ | ekavṛndantu visrāvyam vidhiṃ śodhanam ācaret || gilāyukāpi yo vyādhis tañ ca śastreṇa sādhayet | amarmmasthaṃ susampakvaṃ bhedayed galavidradhiṃ || vātāt sarvvasarāṃ cūrṇṇair llavaṇaiḥ pratisārayet | tailaṃ vātaharaiḥ siddhaṃ hitaṃ kavaḍanastayoḥ || tato 'smai snaihikaṃ dhūmam idaṃ dadyād vicakṣaṇaḥ | śālarājādanairaṇḍacāreṅgudimadhūkajāḥ ||\ majjāno gugguludhyāmamānsīkālānuśārivā | śrīsarjjarasaśaileya madhūcchiṣṭāni cāharet || tat sarvvaṃ sukṛtaṃ cūrṇṇaṃ snehenāloḍya yuktitaḥ | ṭuṇṭūkavṛttāt sakṣaudrāt matimān tena lepayet || eṣa sarvvasare dhūmaḥ praśastasnaihikottamaḥ | kaphaghno mārutaghnaś ca mukharogavināśanaḥ || pittātmake sarvvasare śuddhakāyasya dehinaḥ | sarvvaḥ pittaharaḥ kāryo vidhirmmadhuraśītalaḥ || pratisāraṇagaṇḍūṣā dhūmaṃ saṃśodhanāni ca | kaphātmake sarvvasare kramāṅ kuryāt kaphāpahaṃ || pibed ativiṣām pāṭhaṃ mustāñ ca suradāru ca | rohiṇīkaṭukākhyāntu kuṭajasya phalāni ca || gavām mūtreṇa manujo bhāgān dharaṇasammitāṃ | eṣa sarvvāṅ kaphakṛtāṃ rogān yogo 'pakarṣati || kṣīrekṣurasagomūtradadhimastvamlakāñjikaiḥ | vidadhyāt kavalām vīkṣya doṣaṃ tailaghṛtair api || rogāṇām mukhajātānāṃ sādhyānāṅ karmakīrttitaṃ | asādhyām api vakṣyāmi rogā ye yatra kīrttitāḥ || auṣṭhaprakopo varjyāḥ syur mmāṃsaraktatridoṣajāḥ | dantamūleṣu tu varjya tu triliṅgagatisauṣirau || danteṣu ca na sidhyanti śyāvadālanabhañjanāḥ | jihvāgateṣv alā santu tālavyeṣv arvvudantathā || svaraghno valayaṃ vṛndaṃ valāsasahacāriṇāṃ | galaugham mānsatānañ ca śataghnī rohiṇīgale || asādhyāḥ kīrttitā hyete rogā nava daśaiva ca | teṣu cāpi kriyā vaidyaḥ pratyākhyāya samācared iti ||

athātaḥ śophacikitsitam vyākhyāsyāmaḥ || tatra ṣaḍvidhovayavasamutthaḥ śopho 'bhihito lakṣaṇataḥ pratikārataś ca | sarvvasaraś ca pañcavidhaḥ | tadyathā vātapittakaphasannipātaviṣanimittaḥ | tatrāpi tarppitasyārthamadhvagamanādatimātramabhyavaharato vā piṣṭānnaharitaśākalavaṇāni | kṣīṇasya cātimāttramamlam upasevato mṛtpaṅkaloṣṭakaṭaśarkkarānūpodakamāṃsasevino vā viruddhāhārasya hastyaśvakṣobhanādāyāsitā doṣā dhātūn pradūṣayitvā śophamāpādayanti akhilaśarīre | tatra vātapittakaphasannipātaśvayathūnāmavayavasamutthe śophalakṣaṇāni vyākhyātāni | viṣanimittas tu garopayogād duṣṭatoyasevanāt prakupithitodakāvasekāt saviṣasatvasañcūrṇṇanādvā | saviṣamūtrapurīṣaśukraspṛṣṭānām vā tṛṇakāṣṭhādīnāṃ saṃsparśāt | sa tu mṛduḥ kṣiprotthānaścalāvalambīdāhapākaprayaś ca bhavati || doṣāḥ śvayathumūrddhaṃ hi kurvvantayāmāsayāsritāḥ | pakvāśayasthā madhye tu varccasthānagatāstvadhaḥ || kṛtsnandehamanuprāptāḥ kuryuḥ sarvvasarantathā | yo madhyadeśe svayathuḥ sakaṣṭaḥ sarvvagaś ca yaḥ || arddhāṅgeriṣṭabhūtaṃ syād yaścorddham parisarppati | śvāsaḥ pipāsācchardiś ca daurbbalyaṃ jvara eva ca || yasya cānne rucirnnāsti śvayathun tam vivarjjayet || sāmānyato viśeṣāc ca teṣām vakṣyāmi bheṣajaṃ || tatra śophinaḥ sarvva e parihareyuḥ | amlalavaṇamadhuguḍadadhivasātailapiṣṭagurūṇi viśeṣeṇa | tatra vātaśvayathau tṛvṛtameraṇḍatailam vā māsamarddhamāsam vā pāyayet | nyagrodhādi siddhaṃ sarppiḥ pittaśvayathau āragvadhādisiddhaṃ tailaṃ śleṣmaśvayathau | sannipātaśvayathau snuhākṣīrapātratulyan daśabhir amlapātraiḥ | pratisaṃsṛjya dantī dravantī prativāyaṃ sarppiḥ pācayitvā pāyayet | viṣanimittasya kalpeṣu pratīkāraḥ || ata ūrddhansāmānyān yogān vakṣyāmaḥ | tilvakaghṛtacaturthāni yānyuktānyudareṣu tato 'nyatamam upayujyamānaṃ śvayathūn u pahanti | mūtravarttikriyām vā seveta | navāyasam vāharaharmmadhunā | viḍaṅgātiviṣākuṭajaphalabhadradārunāgaramaricānām vā dharaṇuṣṇāmbunā | tri kaṭukakṣārayaścūrṇṇāni triphalākvāthena | mūtram vā tulyakṣīraṃ harītakīm vā tulyaguḍām upayuñjīta | devadāruśuṇṭhīm vā | guggulum vā mūtreṇa | varṣā bhūkaṣāyānupānam vā tulyaguḍaṃ śṛṅgaveraṃ | vyoṣaṃ varṣābhūkaṣāyasiddhena vā | sarppiṣāmudgastumvāmbhakṣayet || pippalīmūlacitrakacavyāmayūrakavarṣā bhūsiddham vā kṣīram pibet | mahauṣadhamuruṅgīmūlasiddham vā | trikaṭukairaṇḍaśyāmāmūlasiddham vā | varṣābhūśṛṅgaveradevadārusiddham vā | tathālābuvibhītakaphalakalkam vā | pippalīmaricaśṛṃgaverānusiddhena mudgayuṣeṇa lavaṇenālpaṃ snehaṃ bhojayet | yavagodhūmānnaṃ | vṛkṣakārkkanaktamālanimbavarṣābhūkvāthaś ca pariṣekaḥ | sarṣapasauva rccalasaindhavaśārṅgaṣṭābhiś ca pradehaḥ kāryaḥ | yathādoṣañ ca tīkṣṇāni vamanavirecanāsthāpanānuvāsanāni satatam upaseveta | svedopanāhau ca | sirāccābhīkṣṇaṃ śoṇitamavasecayet | anyatrapāṇḍuśophāditi || piṣṭānnam amlaṃ lavaṇāni madyaṃ mṛdan divāsvapnam ajaṅgalañ ca | striyo guḍan telam atho gurūṇi śophaṃ jighānsuḥ parivarjjayīta ||

kanīnikāpariṇāham ṛjvagranthim athāvraṇaṃ || ayugmagranthiṃ yadi vā sakṣīrañ ca praśasyate | kaṣāyakaṭutiktam vā tat khādet prātar utthitaḥ || madhutrikaṭukāktam vā gomūtreṇātibhāvitaṃ | tad daurggandhyopadehau tu śleṣmāṇaṃ cāpakarṣati || vaiśadyam anne 'bhiruciṃ saumanasyaṃ karoti ca || snigdhāṃ śuṣkāṃś ca daśanāṃ jihvāyāpi ca lāghavaṃ | na cātigalatālvoṣṭhajihvārogasamudbhavaḥ | na khādet mukhaśoṣī tu śvāsahikkāvamīṣu ca | durvvalojīrṇṇabhaktaś ca mūrcchārtto madapīḍitaḥ || śirorujārttas tṛṣitaḥ śrāntayāśrānta pānaklamānvitaḥ | ardditī karṇṇaśūlī ca dantarogī ca mānavaḥ || jihvānirllekhanaṃ rau pyaṃ sauvarṇṇam vārkṣam eva ca | tanmalāpaharaṃ śanastaṃ mṛduślakṣṇaṃ daśāṅgulaṃ || mukhavairasya vaigandhyaśophajāḍyāpahaṃ sukhaṃ | dṛḍhīkarañ ca dantānāṃ snehagaṇḍūṣadhāraṇaṃ || tāmbūlapatraṃ sakṣāraṃ pūgaṃ hṛdyaṃ kaphāpahaṃ | mukhavaiṣadyasaugandhyakāntisauṣṭhavakārakaṃ || pathyaṃ suptotthite bhukte vānte srānte ca mānavaḥ | rūkṣadurvvalamartyānāṃ mahitañcāsyaśoṣiṇāṃ || keśabhūmigatān rogān śirobhyaṅgopakarṣati | keśānāṃ mṛdutā snigdhaṃ dṛrukpraśāntiṅ karoti ca || karoti śirasas tṛptiṃ keśānāṃ dṛḍhatām api | santarpaṇaścendriyāṇāṃ dalebhyaṅgas tu mūrddhni tu || valakṛd dehadhāraṇaṃ || smṛtyāyuḥ paktitejojaḥ satvotsāhābhivarddhanāḥ | pādaprakṣālanaṃ pādarogaśramamalāpahaṃ || cakṣuḥ prasādajananaṃ rakṣoghnaṃ prītivarddhanaṃ | nidrākaro dehasukhañ cakṣuṣyaḥ athātaḥ kṣīṇavalīyaṃ vyājīkaraṇacikitsitaṃ vyākhyāsyāmaḥ || kalasyodagravayaso vyājīkaraṇasevinaḥ ḥ| sarvveṣv ṛtuṣv aharahar vvyavāyo na nivāritaḥ | strīṣv akṣāryyam mṛgayatāṃ vṛddhānāñ caritaṃ satāṃ | riraṃśatāṃ | klīvānām alpaśukrāṇāṃ strīṣu kṣīṇāś ca ye narāḥ || vilāsinām arthavatāṃ rūpayauvanaśālināṃ | nṛṇām vahvīpatīnāñ ca yogā vyājīkaro hitāḥ || bhojanāni ca citrāṇi pānāni vividhāni ca | vācaḥ srotonugāminyas tvaksukhasparśanāni ca || gandhān manojñaṃ rūpāṇi citrāṇy upavanāni ca | manasaś cāpratīvāto vyājīkurvvanti mānavaṃ | tais tair bhāvair ahṛdyais tu riraṃsor mmanasi kṣate | dhvajaḥ pataty adho nṛṇāṃ klaivyaṃ samupajāyate || annair amtvoṣṇalavaṇair atimātropasevitaiḥ | saumyadhātukṣayo dṛṣṭaḥ klaivyan tad aparaṃ smṛtaṃ || ativyavāyaśīlo vā na ca vyājīkriyārataḥ | dhvajabhaṅgam avāpnoti saśukrakṣayahetukaṃ || meḍhrarogeṇa mahatā marmmachedena vā punaḥ || klivyaṃ caturtham bhavati nṛṇāṃ puṃstvopaghātajaṃ || asādhyaṃ sahajaṃ klaivyaṃ marmmacchedāc ca yad bhavet | sādhyānām avaśiṣṭānāṃ kāryo vyājīkaro vidhiḥ || tilamāṣavidārīṇāṃ śālīnāñ cūrṇṇam eva ca | rasair ikṣurasair vvāpi mardditaṃ saindhavānvitaṃ || varāhamedasā yuktaṃ ghṛtenotkārikam pacet | tām bhakṣayitvā gaccheyuḥ puruṣaḥ ṣaṣṭhim aṅganāṃ || vastrāṇḍasiddhaṃ payasi bhāvitā na sakṛttilāṃ | śiśumāravasāpakva tais tilaiḥ śaṣkulīśubhāḥ || yaḥ khādet sa pumān gacchet strīṇāṃ śatam apūrvvavat | pippalīlavaṇopetau vastāṇḍau kṣīrasarppiṣi | sādhitau bhakṣayed yas tu sa gacchet pramadāśataṃ || māṣapippaliśālīnāṃ yavagodhūmayos tathā | rṇṇabhāgaiḥ samastais tu ghṛte pūpalikām pacet || tām bhakṣayitvā pītvā ca śarkkarāmadhuram payaḥ | naraś caṭakavad gacched daśavārān nirantaraṃ || cūrṇṇam vidāryāḥ sukṛtaṃ svarasenaiva bhāvitaṃ | sarppiḥkṣaudrayutaṃ līḍhvā daśanāryo 'dhirohitaḥ || evam āmalakañ cūrṇṇaṃ svarasenaiva bhāvitaṃ | śarkkarāmadhusarppirvbhir yuktaṃ līḍhvā payaḥ pivet || etenāśītivarṣāyur bhavec ca varṣo 'pi yute ca parihṛṣyati || pippalīlavaṇopetau vastāṇḍau ghṛtasādhitau || śiśumārasya vā khādet tau tu vyājīkarau bhṛśaṃ || kulīrakūrmmanakrāṇām aṇḍāny evan tu bhakṣayet | mahiṣarṣabhavastānām pivec chukrāṇi vānaraḥ || aśvatthaphalamūlatvaṅ chuṅgasiddham payo pi vā | pītvā saśarkkarākṣaudraṃ kuliṅga iva hṛṣyati || vidārīmūlakalkan tu sritena payasā naraḥ | udumvararasam pītvā vṛddho 'pi taruṇāyate || māṣāṇām palam ekan tu saṃyuktam madhusarppiṣā | tiṃ līḍhvānupivet kṣīraṃ tena vyājī bhavet naraḥ || nakramūṣikamaṇḍūkacaṭakāṇḍakṛtaṃ ghṛtaṃ | pādābhyaṅgena kurute vyājī bhūmin tu na spṛśet || yāvan na spṛśate bhūmin tāvad gacchen nirantaraṃ | svayaṃ guptekṣurakayo rvvījapūrṇṇaṃ saśarkkaraṃ || dhāroṣṇenanara payaḥ pītvā payasā na kṣayaṃ vrajet | uccaṭācūrṇṇam apy eva kṣīreṇottamam ucyate || śatāvaryuccaṭācūrṇṇam peyapayaḥmedo sukhārthinā | svayaṃguptāphalayutaṃ māṣayūṣam pivet naraḥ || gṛṣṭīnāṃ vṛddhavatsānāṃ māṣacūrṇṇabhṛtāṅgavāṃ | yat kṣīran tat praśansanti valakāmeṣu jantuṣu || ete vyājīkarā yogāḥ prītyapatyavalapradāḥ | sevyāviśuddhāpacita viśuddhā paricita dehaiḥ kālādy apekṣayeti ||

hṛtadoṣa evāgāram praviśya pratisaṃsṛṣṭabhaktau vrahmīsvarasamādāya sahasrasampātābhihutaṃ kṛtvā yathāvalam upayuñjīta | jīrṇṇauṣadhaś cāparāṇhe yavāgūmalavaṇām pivet || kṣīrasātmyo vā payasā bhuñjīta || evaṃ saptarātram upayuṃjya vrahmavarccasvīmedhāvī bhavati | dvitīyaṃ saptarātram upayujya grantham īpsitam utpādayti naṣṭaś cāsya prādur bhavati | tṛtīyam uccāritaṃ śatam apy upadhārayati | evam ekaviṃśatirātram upayujya lakṣmīrapakrāmati | śarīrāt mūrtimatī cainam vāgdevīm anupraviśati | sarvvāś cainaṃ śrutayo 'vatiṣṭhete | śrutidharaḥ pañcavarṣaśatāyur bhavati |

vrahmīsvarasaprasthadvaye ghṛtaprastham viḍaṅgataṇḍulānāṅ kuḍavam vacābhṛ vṛtayoḥ | dvādaśa dvādaśa ca harītakyāmalakavibhītakāni kalkapiṣṭānyavāpyaikadhyaṃ sādhayitvā svanuguptan nidadhyāt | tataḥ pūrvvavad yathāvalam upayuñjīta | jīrṇṇapūrvvavad āhāraḥ parihāraś ca | etenordhvam adhaś ca krimayogacchanti | alakṣmīra apakrāmati | puṣkaravarṇṇaḥ śrutanigādī trivarṣaśatāyur bhavati | etad eva viṣakuṣṭhaviṣamajvaram apasmāronmādabhūtagraheṣu saṃśodhanam upadiśanti |

hṛtadoṣa evāgāram praniśya haimavatyā vacāyāḥ piṇḍam āmalakamātram abhihutan kṛtvā payasālopivet | jīrṇṇe payaḥ sarppirodana ity āhāraḥ | evaṃ dvādaśarātram upayuṃjīta | tato 'sya śrotraṃ vidhiyate | dvirabhyāsāt smṛtimān bhavati | trirabhyasya śrutam ādhatte | caturdvādaśarātram abhyasya tatas tārkṣyan darśanam utpadyate | śatāyuś ca bhavati | dve pale itasyā vacāyāḥ kvāthyam pivet payasā pūrvvaśāśiṣaś ca samānāḥ |

vacāśatapākam vā sarppir droṇam upayñjya pañcavarṣaśatāyur bhavati | galagaṇḍāpacīślīpadasvararabhedāṃś cāpahanti || bhavanti ||

pāpmānam upahantyetāḥ śriyaṃ dadyut tathaauṣadhīḥ | kuryun nāgavalam vāpi manuṣyam amaropamaṃ || satatādhyayanam vādaḥ paratantrāvalokanaṃ | tad vidyācāryasevā ca vuddhimedhākarāḥ gaṇaḥ | āyuṣyaṃ bhojanañ jīrṇṇe vegānāñ ca vidhāraṇaṃ | vrahmacaryam ahiṃsā ca sāhasānāñ ca varjjanam iti || ||

athātaḥ svabhāvavyādhipratiṣedhanīyaṃ rasāyanam vyākhyāsyāmaḥ || vrahmā yadajṛt pūrvvamamṛtaṃ somasaṃjñitaṃ | jarāmṛtyuvināśāya vidhānan tasya vakṣyate|| eka eva khalu bhagavān somaḥ sthānānām ākṛtir vviśeṣaiś caturvviṃṅśatidhā bhidyate || tadyathā || aṃśumān mūñjavām̐ś caiva candramārajataprabhaḥ | pratānavām̐s tālavṛntaḥ karavīrāṅśusannibhāḥ || svayamprabho mahāsomo yaś cāpi garuḍāhṛtaḥ | gāyatryas traiṣṭubhaḥ pāṃktyo jāgrataḥ sātkaras tathā || agniṣṭomo revataś ca yaś coktha iti saṃjñitaḥ | gāyatryā tripadā yukto yaś coḍupatir ucyate || ete somāḥ samākhyātā vedoktair nnāmabhiḥ śubhaiḥ | sarvveṣām eva caiteṣāmeko vidhir upāsane || sarvve tulyaguṇāś caiva vidhānaṃ sampravakṣyate || atho nyatama somam upayuyuṃkṣuḥ sarvvopakaraṇaparicārakopetaḥ | praśaste deśe trivṛtamagāraṅkārayitvā hṛtadoṣaḥ pratisaṃsṛṣṭabhaktaḥ praśaste tithikaraṇamuhūrttaṅaaśumantam ādāyādhvarakalpenābhiṣṭutya yathoktāgāraskṛtamaṅgalaḥ | somacandraṃkandaṃsuvarṇṇasūcyā vidārya payo gṛhṇīyāt | sauvarṇṇe rājate pātreñjalimātraṃ tato sakṛdevopa yuṇjīto nāsvādayamānas ta upaspṛśya śeṣam apsv astv avasādya yam aniyamābhyāmātmānaṃ saṃyojya vāgyato 'bhyantaraḥ | suhṛdbhir anvāsyamāno viharet | rasāyanam pītavām̐s tu nirvvāte niyatātmanā śucirāsītastiṣṭheccaṃkrampānna kathañcana samviśet | sāyaṃ vā bhuktavānupaśrutaśāntiḥkuśaśayyāyāṃ kṛṣṇājinottarāyāṃ suhṛdbhir anvāsyamānaḥ śayīta | tṛṣito vā śītodakaṃ mātrām pivet | tataḥ prātarutthāyopaśrutaśāntiḥ kṛtamaṅgalo gāṃ spṛṣṭvā tathaivāsīt | tasya jīrṇṇe some ccharddirutpadyate | tataḥ śoṇitāktaṅ krimivyāmiśrañ chardditavataḥ | sāyaṃ sritaśītaṃ kṣīram vitaret tatas tṛtīye 'hani krimivyāmiśram atisāryate | sa tenātisṛṣṭapratigrahabhuktaprabhṛbhir viśaiṣaiḥ pratimuktaḥ śuddhatanurvbhavati | tataḥ sāyaṃ snātasya pūrvvavadeva kṣīram vitaret | kṣaumavastrāstṛtāyāñcainaṃ śayyāyāṃ śāyayīta | tataś caturthe 'hani tasya śvayathurupajāyate | tataḥ sarvvāṅgebhyaḥ krimayo niḥkrāmanti | tadahaś ca pāṃśu śayyāyāṃ pāṃśubhir avakīryamāṇaḥ śayīta | śayīta | tasya māṃsānyāpyāyyante tvak cāvadalati | dantanakharomāṇi cāsyaśīryante | tasya navama diva sāt prabhṛtyanutailamabhyaṅgaḥ | somavalkakaṣāyaḥ pariṣekaḥ | tato 'sya daśamehanyetad eva vitaret tatosya tvaksthiratām upaiti | eva mekāda śadvādaśayor vvartteta | tatastrayodaśāt prabhṛtinaiva somavalkakaṣāyo dātavyaḥ | evamāṣoḍaśādvartteta | tatas saptadaśāṣṭādaśayor ddaśayor ddantājā yeta śikhariṇaḥ snigdhāvajravaidūryasphaṭikasannikāśāḥ sthirāḥ samāḥ sahiṣṇavaḥ | tadā prabhṛti cānavaiḥ śālitaṇḍulaiḥ kṣīrayavāgūmu paseveta | yāvadāpañcaviṃśatiriti | tato 'smai dadyācchālyodanaṃ mṛdumubhayataḥ kālaṃ | tatosya nakhā jāyante vidrumendragopakataruṇāditya prakāśāḥ snigdhāḥ sthirāḥ | lakṣaṇasampannāḥ keśāś ca śūkṣmā jāyante | tvak ca nīlotpalātasīpuṣpavaidūryaprakāśāḥ | urddhvañca māsāt keśān vāpayeta | vāpayitvā cośīracandanatilakalkaiḥ śiraḥ pradideta | payasā ca snehayīta | tatosyānantaraṃ saptarātrāt keśā jāyante | añjanavaidūryabhramaranibhāḥ kuñcitāgrāḥ | snigdhāśirasopabhogānāmāharttāraiḥ | tatas trirātrāttatra śirā prathamaparisarānniṣkramya muhūrttaṃ sthitvā punarevāntaḥ praviśet | tato 'sya valātailamabhyaṅgo 'vacārya yavapiṣṭamudvarttanārthe | sukhoṣṇampayaś ca pariṣekārthe | kaṣāyam ājakarṇṇam utsādanārthe | āmalakamiśrāś cāsya yūṣavikalpāḥ | kṣīramadhusiddhañ ca kṛṣṇatilam̐taila mabhihārāṇārthe | evaṃ daśarātraṃ dvitīye parisarevartteta | tatastṛtīye parisare sthirīkurvvann ātmānamany addeśarātramāsīta | kiñcid dātātapapavanam āseveta | punaś cāntaḥ praviśet | na cātmānam ādarśesyuvā nirīkṣeta | rūpaśālitvāt tato 'nyad addaśarātraṃ krodhādīn pariharet | eṣa sarvveṣām upayogaḥ | viśeṣatas tu vallīpratānakṣupādayaḥ somā bhakṣayitavyāḥ | bhavanti teṣām arthacaturthāmuṣṭayaḥ | aṃśumantaṃ sauvarṇṇapātre 'bhiṣuyāyāccandramasaṃ rājate | tāv upayojyāṣṭaguṇam aiśvaryam avāpyaiś ānandevam paśyati | śeṣās tu tāmra maye mṛnmaye vā śūdravarjyañ ca | bhabhir vvarṇṇaiḥ soma upayoktavyaḥ | tataś caturthe māsi paurṇṇamāsyāṃ vrāhmaṇānarccayitvā kṛtamaṅgalā niḥkramya yatheṣṭam vrajediti || auṣadhīnām patiṃ somamam upayujyaivamakṣata | daśavarṣasahasrāṇi navān dhārayate tanuṃ || nāgnirn na tejaṃ na viṣaṃ na śastran nāśastram eva ca | tasyālam āyuḥkṣapaṇe samarthāni bhavanti hi || bhadrāṇāṃ ṣaṣṭivarṣāṇām prasūtānām anekadhā | kuñjarāṇāṃ sahasrasya valaṃ samadhigacchati || kṣīrodaṃ śakrasadanamuttarāś ca kurūnapi | yatrecchati sa gantuṃ vai tatrāsyāpratighāsati || kandarppa iva rūpeṇa kāntyā candra ivāparaḥ | prahlādayati bhūtānāṃ manāṃsi sa mahādyutiḥ || sāṅgopāṅgāś ca nikhilāṃ vedān vindati tatvataḥ | caraty amoghasaṃkalpo devavac cākhilañ jagat || sarveṣām eva somānām patrāṇi daśapañca ca | tāni śukle ca kṛṣṇe ca jāyante ca patanti ca || ekaikaṃ jāyate patraṃ somasyāharahastathā | śuklasyāpūrṇṇamāsyāṃ tu bhavet pañcadaśacchadaḥ || divase divase patramekaikaṃ śīryate punaḥ | kṛṣṇe kṛṣṇadvayañcāpi latā bhavati kevalā | aṃśumānājyagandhas tu kandavānrajataprabhaḥ | kadalyākārakandastu bhānti te | kṣīrakandalatāvanto mantrairnnānāvidhairvvṛtā | himavaty arvvude sahye mahendre malaye tathā || pāriyātre ca vindhye ca devasūtre hṛde tathā | uttareṇa vitastāyāḥ prabhavatyamahīdharāḥ || tat tu na samyak kasmād āgamasiddhatvāt palakuḍavāḍīnām ityetat ca upadekṣyāmaḥ | tatra dvādaśadhānyamāṣā madhyamā suvarṇṇamāṣakas te ṣoḍaśasuvarṇṇaḥ | ataś ca ūrdhvañcaturgguṇam abhivarddhayataḥ | palakuḍavaprasthāḍhakadroṇā abhiniṣpadyante | tulā punaḥ palaśatan tābhir vviṃśatirbbhāraḥ | śuṣkāṇām ādrāṇām dravāṇāñ ca dviguṇam iti | snehakuḍave sādhye kvāthyadravyaprastho vidheyas tat caturguṇam udakaṃ caturthāṃśāvaśeṣitaṃ kvāthyāvatārayet ityeṣa kaṣāyakalpaḥ | snehakuḍave sādhye bheṣajapalaṅkalkapiṣṭañcaturgguṇañ ca kaṣāyam āvāpya vipacet ityeṣa snehapākakalpa iti || bhava ||snehabheṣajatoyānām mānayantraṃ tu neritaṃ | tatrāyaṃ viyaṃ vidhirāstheyo nirddiṣṭe tadvat eva tu || anukte dravakārye tu sarvvatra salilaṃ smṛtaṃ | kalkakvāthyāvanirddeśe gaṇāt tasmāt samāvayet || ata ūrdhvaṃ snehapākakramam upadekṣyāmaḥ ||sa tu pākas trividho mṛduś cikkanaḥ kharacikkana iti || snehauṣadhavivekamātraṃ yatra bheṣajaṃ sa mṛduḥ | madhūcchiṣṭamiva lepayati yatrabheṣajaṃ sa cikkanaḥ | phenātimātra tailasya śeṣaṃ ghṛtavadā diśet | kṛṣṇamavasannamīṣadviṣadaṃ cikkanañ ca yatra sa kharacikkaṇa iti | ataūrdhvam pradagdhasnehe bhavati | tam punas sādhayet | tatra yānābhya vahārayor mmṛduḥ || nasyāñjanīyaścikkaṇaḥ | vastisnehāḥ kharacikkaṇa iti || śabdavyūparame prāpte phenasyopadame tathā | gandhavarṇṇarasānāñ ca sampattau siddhamādiśet || || ataḥ snehapānakramam upadekṣyāmaḥ || atha laghukoṣṭhāyāturāya kṛtamaṃgalāyodayagiriśikarasamprasthite prataptakanakapītalohite savitari yathāvalaṃ tailasya ghṛtasya vā mātram prayacchet || kevalam paittike sarppir vvātike lavaṇānvitaṃ | deyam bahukaphe tailaṃ savyoṣakṣārasaṃyutaṃ || snehaḥ sātmyaḥ kleśasaho dṛḍhaḥ kāle ca śītale | acchamevapivet sneham acchapānaṃ hi śobhanaṃ || śīte kāle divā sneham uṣṇakāle piven niśi | vātapittādhike rātrau vātaśleṣmādhike divā || vātapittādhikasyoṣṇe mūrcchotsāda tṛṣāvahaḥ | śeta vātakaphārttasya gauravāru ca śūlakṛt | snehapītas tu tṛṣṇāyāṃ piveduṣṇodakan naraṃ || evañcānupaśāmyantī snehamuṣṇāmvunoddharet | yā mātrā parijīryeta caturvbhāgagate na hi || sā mātrā dīpayatyagnim alpadoṣe ca pūjitā | yā mātrā parijīryeta tatrārddhadivase gate || sā vṛṣṇāvṛṃhanīyā ca madhyadoṣe ca pūjitā | yā mātrā parijīryeta caturvbhāgāvaśeṣite || snehanīyā ca sā mātrā vahudoṣe ca śasyate | yā snehamātrā jīryeta jantoḥ pariṇatehani || glānimūrcchāmadā hitvā sā mātrā snehanī matā | ahorātrādasaṃtuṣṭā yā mātrā parijīryati || sā tu kuṣṭhaviṣonmāda grahāpasmāranāśanī | yathāgnim pratimām mātrāṃ yāpayeta vicakṣaṇaḥ || pīto hy ativahusneho janayet prāṇasaṃśayaḥ | mithyācārādvahutvād vā yasya sneho na jīryati || viṣṭa¦bhya vāpi jīryeta vāriṇoṣṇena vāmayet | tataḥ snehaṃ punar ddadyāllaghukoṣṭhāya dehine || jīrṇṇejīrṇṇaviśaṅkāyāṃ piveduṣṇodakan naraḥ | tenodgāro bhavec chuddho ruciś cānnam bhavet prati || pariṣicyādbhir uṣṇābhir jīrṇṇe sneho tatonaraṃ | yavāgūm pāyayeduṣṇāṃ suklinnām alpataṇḍulāṃ || deyau yūṣarau syātām akṛtau saindhavānvitau | kṛtau cāpyalpasarppiṣkau vilepītā vidhīyate || pived dvyahaṃ tryaham vāpi pañcāhaṃ ṣaḍahāni vā | saptarātrāt paraṃ snehaḥ sām̐tmībhāvāya kalpate || snehadviṣaḥ kṛṣām vṛddhāṃsukumārān śiśūn api | kṛtṛṣṇālūm̐ñcoṣṇakāle ca saha bhaktena pāyayet || pippalyo lavaṇaṃ snehāś catvāro dadhimas tu ca | pītamekadhyametat tu sadyaḥ snehanam ucyate || bhṛṣṭamāṃsarasasnigdhā yavāgū sūpakalpitā | sakṣaudrāḥ pīyamānā tu sadyaḥ snehanam ucyate || śarkkarāghṛtasaṃsṛṣṭe duhyād gāṅkalaśetha tat | pāyayed ṛkṣam etaddhi sadyaḥ snehanam ucyate || yavakolakulatthānāṃ kvātho māgadhikā yutāḥ | payo dadhi surā ceti ghṛtamapyaṣṭamam bhavet || siddhametad ghṛtaṃ pītaṃ sadyaḥ snehanam ucyate | nṛpānān tat samānānān deyam etad ghṛtottamaṃ | valahīneṣu vṛddheṣu mṛdvagnistrīmahātmani | alpadoṣeṣu yojyāś ca ye yogāḥ samyagīritāḥ || vivarjjayet snehapānam ajīrṇṇī taruṇajvarī | durvvalā rocakī sthūlo mūrcchārtto madapīḍitaḥ || charddyābhibhūtas tṛṣitaḥ śrāntaḥ pānaklamānvitaḥ | vastidatto virekāś ca vānyo yaś cāpi mānavāḥ || akāle durddine caiva na sneham pāyayed bhiṣak | akāle ca prasūtā strī snehapānam vivarjayet | snehapānād bhavanty eṣāṃ nṝṇāṃ nānāvidhā gadāḥ | gadā vā kṛcchratāṃ yānti na sidhyantyatra vā yataḥ || rūkṣam purīṣaṃ grathitaṃ bhuktaṅkṛcchreṇa pacyate | durvvarṇṇo durvvalaś caiva rūkṣo bhavati mānavaḥ || glāniḥ sadanam aṅgānāmadhastāt snehadarśanaṃ | samyak snigdhasya liṅgāni snehodvegas tathaiva ca || bhaktadveṣo mukhāsrāvo gudadāha pravāhikāḥ | purīṣātipravṛttiś ca tadatisnigdhalakṣaṇaṃ | rūkṣasya snehanaṃ snehairatisnigdhasya rūkṣaṇaṃ | śyāmākakoradūṣānnatakrapiṇyākaśaktubhiḥ || dīptāntaragniḥ pariśuddhakoṣṭhaḥ pratyagradhāturvvalavarṇṇayuktaḥ | dṛḍhendriyo mandarujaḥ śatāyuḥ snehopasevī puruṣo bhaved hi || sneho hito durvvalavahnidehe sandhukṣaṇe vyādhinipīḍitasya | valānvinvito bhojanadoṣajātaiḥ pramardditun tau sahasā na śakyau

athātaḥ svedāvacāraṇīyam vyākhyāsyāmaḥ || tatra caturvvidhāḥ svedā bhavanti || tad yathā || tāpasvedo, bāṣpasvedaḥ | upanāhasvedo dravasvedaś ceti || tatra svedavikalpāvarodhaḥ | tatra tāpasvedo nāma pālikāṃ sakandaphalavālikāvastraiḥ prayujyate | śayānasya bāṣpatāpoṅgāraiḥ | bāṣpasvedas tu kapālapāṣāṇeṣṭakalohapiṇḍān agnivarṇṇān adbhir āsicyate rādravastrapariveṣṭitaiḥ | svedayed aṅgapradeśān | evam māṃsarasapayodadhisnehadhānyāmlavātaharapattrabhaṅgakvāpūrṇṇam vā kumbhīm abhiprataptām prāvṛtyoṣmāṇaṅ gṛhṇīyāt | pārśvacchidreṇa vā kumbhena tasyāḥ kumbhyāmukhena mukham abhisandhāya tasmiñchidre hastiśuṇḍākāraṃ nāḍīm praṇidhāya śayānaṃ svedayet sukhopaviṣṭaṃ svabhyaktaṃ prāvṛtam vā || bha || hastiśuṇḍikayā nāḍyā svedayed vātaroginaṃ | sukhaṃsarvvānugā hyeṣā na ca saṃṅkleśayen naraṃ || vyāmārddhamātratrivakrahastihastasamākṛtiḥ | svedanārthe hitā nāḍī kailiñjī hastiśuṇḍikā || puruṣāyāmamātrām vā bhūmim utkīrya khādiraiḥ || kāṣṭair avadāhyabhyukṣya vātahara patrabhaṅgairavacchādya śayānaṃ svedayet śilātalamavadāhyāpohya bhasmañ ca pūrvvavat | kuṭīm vā caturdvārāṅ kṛtvā tasyām upaviṣṭasyāntaś caturdvārān anuparidhāya svedayet | kāśadhānyāni vā samyagusvedyāstīrya kiliñjenyasmin vā tatpratirūpake śayānaṃ svedayed evaṃ pāṃśugośakṛttuṣavuṣapalālosmabhiḥ svedayed iti || upanāhasvedas tu vātaharadravyakalkairamlapiṣṭair llavaṇapragāḍhaiḥ susnigdhaiḥ sukhoṣṇaiś ca pradihya svedayed evaṃ kākolyādirelāsu rasādim āhṛtya tilātasīsarṣapakalkair vvā kṛsaraveśavārapāyasotkārikābhir vvā etābhir eva vāyo dūlikām vadhvā svedayet || dravasvedas tu vātaharadravyakvāthapūrṇṇakoṣṭakaṭāhe droṇyām vāvagāhya svedayet | evaṃ payomāṃsarasayūṣatailaghṛtadhānyāmlamūtreṣvetair eva sukhoṣṇaiḥ pariṣiñcediti | tatra tāpoṣmasvedau viśeṣataḥ śleṣmaghnau | upanāhasvedo vātaghnaḥ | anyatarasmin pittasaṃsṛṣṭe dravasveda iti | caturvvidho yobhihito dvidhā svedaḥ prayujyate || sarvvasmin eva dehe tu dehasyāvayave tathā | yeṣān nasyam vidhātavyam bastiś cāpihi dehināṃ || śodhanīyāś ca ye kecit pūrvvasvedās tu te matā | paś cāt svedāhṛte śalye mūḍhagarvbhānupadravā || samyak prajātā kāle ca paś cāt svedyaiva jānatāṃ | pūrvvā svedyāś ca paś cāc ca bhagandaryarśasas tathā || aśmaryāñcāturo jaṃtu śeṣāñcāstre pravakṣyate || nānabhyakte nāpi cāsnigdhadehe yojyaḥ svedyaḥda svedavidbhiḥ kathañcit | dṛṣṭaṃ loke kāṣṭham asnigdhamāśu yāyāt bhaṅgaṃ svedayogair ggṛhītaṃ | svedaklinnā dhātusaṃsthā tu doṣāḥ svasthānasthā ye ca mārggeṣu līnāḥ | samyak svedair yojitais te dravatvaṃ prāptāḥ koṣṭhaṃ śodhanair yātyaśeṣāḥ || agner ddīpim mārddavaṃtvak prasādam bhaktaśraddhāṃ srotasān nirmmalatvaṃ | kuryāt svedastandrinidre ca hanyāt | sandhīkatvāṃśceṣṭayed āśuyuktaḥ || svedāsrāvo vyādhihānirllaghutvaṃ śītārthitvam mārddavañcāturasya | samyaksvinne lakṣaṇam prāhuretanmithyāsvinne viparītantad eva || sphoṭotpattiḥ pittaraktaprakopo madāmūrcchābhramadāho klamaś ca | atisvinne sandhipīḍā ca tṛṭcatṛṣṇā śītā kriyās tatra kuryādvidhijñaḥ || pāṇḍumehī raktamehī tṛṣārttaḥ kṣukṣatakṣīṇo durvvalo jīrṇṇabhoktāḥ | dakodarīgarvbhiṇīpānapañca naitesvedyā yaścamartyo 'tisārī || svedā teṣāṃ yānti dehāvināśaṃ masādhyatvaṃ yānti caiṣām vikārāḥ | svedaiḥ sādyo durvvalojīrṇṇabhaktā yadi syātāṃ svedanīyau tatastau || sarvva svedān nivāte tu jīrṇṇān jīrṇṇe na vācāvacārayet | snehābhyaktaśarīrasya śītairācchādya cakṣuṣī || atisvinnamathāsvābhya śītāmvutrāsanaṃ hitaṃ | snānam uṣṇāmbunā caiva vivātaṃ cālayan nayet || bhojayec cānabhiṣyandi sarvvam vācāramādiśediti ||

vamanavirecane nirharaṇe varttate | tasmāt tayor vvidhānam ucyamānam upadhārayasva || tad yathāturaṃ snigdhasvinnamanabhiṣyandibhir āhārairanavabaddhadoṣamālocya svosto vamanam pāyayitāsmītisambhojayet | sambhojyas tu tīkṣṇāgnir balavān bahudoṣo mahāvyādhiparigṛhīto vamanasātmyaś ca || peśalair vvividhairannair doṣamutkliśya dehinaḥ | snigdhasvinnāya vamanan dattaṃ samyak pravarttate || athāparedyuḥ pūrvvāhṇe sādhāraṇe kāle vamanadravyakaṣāyakalkacūrṇṇasnehenānyatamasya mātrām pāyayitvā vāmayet | asātmyabībhatsadurddarśanadurggandhāni vāmanīyāni vidadhyāt ato svarabhedatandrā nidrāsyadaurggandhyaviṣopasarggāḥ | gurutvakaṇḍūgrahaṇīpradoṣā na santi jantorvvamataḥ kadācit || chinne tarau puṣpaphalaprarohā yathā vināśaṃ sahasā vrajanti | tathā hṛte śleṣmaṇiccharddanena tajjā vikārā vilayam vrajanti || na vāmayet taimirikannagulminaṃ na caivapāṇḍūdararogapīḍitaṃ | sthūlakṣatakṣīṇakṛṣātivṛddhā narśordditā kṣepakapīḍitāś ca || rūkṣampramehe taruṇe virecanam mātram prayacchet | tatra mṛduḥ krūro madhya iti trividhaḥ koṣṭho bhavati | tatra bahupitto mṛduḥ sa dugdhenā viricyate || bahuvātaśleṣmā krūro durvviricyaḥ | samadoṣo madhyaḥ sādhāraṇa iti pāyayet tad divasaṃ yavāgūṃ | kṣīṇantṛṣārttaṃ sucirecitañ ca tanvīṃ sukhoṣṇaṃ laghu pāyayīta || buddheḥ prasādam balamindriyāṇān dhātusthiratvaṃ jvalanābhivṛddhiṃ | cirāc ca pākaṃ vayasaḥ karoti virecanaṃ samyagupāsyamānaṃ || yathodakānāṃ suvijaṅgamānāṃ rodhevadīrṇṇe dhruva eva nāśaḥ | pitte hṛtendhevam upadravāṇām pittātminām vihito vināśaḥ | kṣīṇākṛśārūkṣitabālavṛddhādīnotha śoṣī bhayaśokataptaḥ | śāntastṛṣārtto parijīrṇṇabhakto garbbhiṇyadho gacchati yasya cāsṛk || navapraviśyāya parītadeho navajvarīyā ca navaprasūtā | kaṣāyanityā na virecanīyā snehādibhir ye tv anupaskṛtāś ca || atyarthapittābhiparītadehān virecayet tān api mandamandaṃ | virecanair yānti narā vināśam ajñaprayuktair avirecanīyāḥ || saratvasaukṣmyataikṣṇyauṣṇe vikāśitvād virecanaṃ | vamanan tu hareddoṣān samyagugyuktam vṛthānyathā || yātyadharddoṣamādāya pacyamānam virecanaṃ | guṇodrekād vrajedūrddhvam apakvam vamanam punaḥ | mṛdukoṣṇasya dīptāgner dattan tīkṣṇam virecanaṃ | na samyaṅ nirhared doṣānsanty agnir ddahe iti pāṭhaḥ | ativegapradhāvitaṃ || prātar yad auṣadham pītaṃ bhaktapākasame kṣaṇe | paktiṅ gacchati doṣām̐s tu nirhared avaśeṣataḥ || durbbalasya calān doṣāmalpān alpān punaḥ punaḥ | prabhūtān alpatāṃ yāntu samayet pracyutānatha || hareddoṣāñcalān pakvaṃ balino durbbalasya vā | calā hyupekṣitā doṣāḥ kleśayeyuś ciran naraṃ || mandāgniṃ krūrakoṣṭhañ ca sakṣāralavaṇair ghṛtaṃ | sandhukṣitāgniṃ snigdhañ ca svinnañcaiva viśodhayet || snigdhasvinnasya bhaiṣajyair ddoṣas tu kleśito bhavet | na cālīyeta mārggeṣu snigdhe bhāṇḍa ivodakaṃ || na cātisnigdhakāyāya dadyāt snehavirecanaṃ | doṣāḥ pracyāvitā bhūyo līyante tena vartmmasu || virūkṣya snehasātmyantu bhūyaḥ saṃsnehya recayet | tena doṣā hṛtāstasya bhavanti snehabandhanāḥ || prāgapītauṣadhaṃ śodhya pāyayet mṛda śodhanaṃ | tato vijñātakoṣṭhasya kāryaṃ saṃśodhanam punaḥ || sukhan dṛḍhaphalaṃ hṛdyam alpamātram mahāguṇaṃ | vyāpat svalpātyayañcāpi piben nṛpatirauṣadhaṃ || snehasvedāvakṛtvāgre yas tu saṃśodhanam pibet | dāru śuṣkamivānāme dehastasya viśīryate || snehasvedapracavalito rasaiḥ snigdhair udīritāḥ | doṣāḥ koṣṭhagatā jantoḥ sukhaṃ harttum viracanairiti ||

pravarttate doṣāḥ | anupravṛtte 'lpe doṣe jīrṇṇecauṣadhe ca bahudoṣam antaḥ śailam balañ cāvekṣya bhūyo mātrāṃñ ca vidadhyād anupravṛtta bhenyūbhaṃ daśajātrādūrddham upasthitadehaṃ bhūyaḥ śodhayed tamabhyajya śītābhir adbhiḥ pariṣicyāvagāhya śītais taṇḍulāmbubhir mmadhumiśrair vvāmayet | picchābastiñ cāsmai dadyāt | kṣīrarasayoścainam anyatamena bhojayet kṣīrasarppiṣā cainam anuvāsayet | priyaṅgvādiñcāsmai taṇḍulāmbunā pātum prayacchet | tasmin eva ca vamanotiyoge tipravṛtte śoṇitaṃ ṣṭhīvati ccharddayati vā raktaṃ tatra jihvāniḥsaraṇam avasarppaṇañ cākṣṇor vvyāvṛttihanusaṃhananaṃ tṛṣṇā hikkāṅgarau visaṃ jñatvam ity upadravā bhavanti | tam ativisrutaśoṇitavidhānena nopacaret | jihvānniḥsarppitāntrikaṭukalavaṇacūrṇṇapraghṛṣṭāmantaḥ pīḍayet praviṣṭāyām anyemlamasya purastāt khādeyuḥ | vyāvṛtte cākṣiṇī ghṛtābhyaktaiḥ pīḍayet | hanusaṃhanane vātaśleṣmaharan nasyaṃ svedañ ca vidadhyāt | tṛṣṇādiṣu ca yathāsvaṃpratikurvvīta | visaṃjñam vā veṇuvīṇāgītasvenaṃ srāvayed iti | virecanātiyoge sacandrakaṃsalilam adhaḥ sravati tato māṃsadhāvanaprakāśamuttarakālaṃ jīvaśoṇitañ ca | tatra gudaniḥsaraṇaṃ vepathur vvamanātiyogopadravāś ca bhavanti | tam atisrutavidhānenaivopacaret daurbbalyodaraviṣṭambhārucirggātrasadanāni bhavanti | sa vedanau cāsyapittaśleṣmāṇau sravatas tam parisrāvam iti ācakṣate | tamajakarṇṇadhavatiniśa palāsakaṣāyair mmadhuyuktair āsthāpayet | upaśāntadoṣam bhūyaḥ saṃśodhayed atirūkṣetisnigdhe vā bheṣajam avacāritam aprāptaṃ purīṣam udīrayato vigevighātena pravāhikā bhavati | tatra sadāha śūlaṃ svetaṃ kṛṣṇaṃ raktam vā bhṛśaṃ pravāhamāṇaḥ kapham upaviśati | tam pratisrāvavidhānenopacaret yastūrddhamadhovā bheṣajaṃ vegapravṛttamajñānād vinihanti tasyopasaraṇaṃ hṛdi kurvvanti doṣas tatra pradhānamarmmasantāpād vedanābhir atyartham pīḍyamādantāṃ kaṭakaṭāyatyudvṛttākṣo jihvāṃ khādati pratāmyamānacetā ca bhavati | tamabhyajya dhānasvedena svedayitvā tīkṣṇena dviśiro virecanenopacared yaṣṭīmadhukamiśreṇa cainan taṇḍulāmbunā vāmayed kaṭutā bhavet | jvaradāhaḥ s tathā svedo netramūtrāṅgapītatā || śleṣmābhibhūte snehe tu praseko madhurāsyatā | gauravaccharddirucchvāsaḥ kṛcchrāc chītajvaro ruciḥ || tatra doṣābhibhūte tu snehabastin nidhāpayet | yathāsvan doṣaśam anānyupayojyāni yāni ca || atyāsitetvābhibhavāt sneho naiti yadā tadā | gururāmāśayaḥ śūlo vāyoś cāpratisañcaraḥ || hṛtpīḍāmukhavairasyaṃ śvāso mūrcchājvaro 'ruciḥ | atipīḍitavat tatra siddhirāsthāpanan tathā | asvinnasyāviśuddhasya sneho 'lpas tu prayojitaḥ | śīto mṛduś ca nābhyeti tato mandam pravāhati || vibandhagauravādhmānaśūlaiḥ pakvāśayam prati | pramāṇaṅkalpanaṅ kālam mātrāñ cāpi bravīhi me || tasya tadvacanaṃ śrutvā prābravīd bhiṣajām varaḥ || śuddhe muhūrtte karaṇe dine ca nakṣatrayoge ca tathānukūle | viviktasaṃsṛṣṭamṛdāvalipte athāta āturopadravacikitsitam vyākhyāsyāmaḥ || snehapīḍasya vāntasya viriktasyāśrutāsṛjaḥ | nirūḍhasya ca kāyāgniṃ maṃdo bhavati dehinaḥ || so nnair atyarthagurubhir upayuktaiḥ praśāmyati | alpo mahadbhir vvasudhācchādite 'gnir ivendhanaiḥ || sa cālpair llaghubhiś cānnair upayuktair vvivarddhate | ṣṭhair aṇubhir alpaiś ca sandhukṣita ivānalaḥ || hṛtadoṣapramāṇena sa cāhāravidhiḥ smṛtaḥ | trīṇi cātra pramāṇāni prastho 'rddhāḍhakam āḍhakam || tatrāvaraṃ prasthamātraṃ dve śeṣe madhyamottame | prasthe tv eke gate deyā yavāgūsvalpataṇḍulā || dve caivārddhāḍhake deye tisraś cāpy āḍhake gate | vilepīmuci 3dbhaktāc caturthāṃśakṛtām bhiṣak || dadyāt klinnan tataḥ paś cāt mudgayūṣeṇa bhojanaṃ | tribhāgakalitaṃ samyag akṛtenārddhasammitaṃ | arddhāṃśam ucitād bhaktād akṛtākhyena buddhimān || tatas tu kṛtasaṃjñena hṛdyenendriyabodhinā | trīn aṃśād vitared bhoktum āturāyodanam prati || tato yathocitam bhaktam bhoktum asmai vicakṣaṇaḥ | lāvaiṇahariṇādīnāṃ rasair ddadyāt susaṃskṛtaiḥ || hīnamadhyottameṣv eṣu virekeṣu prakīrttitaḥ | ekadvitriguṇaḥ samyag āhārasya kramo hitaḥ || vedanālābhaniyamaśokavaicityahetubhiḥ | narān upoṣitām̐ś cāpi viriktavad upācaret || āḍhakārddhāḍhakaprasthasaṃkhyā hy eṣā virecane | śleṣmānto hi virekaḥ syād etad icchanti kecana | eko virekaḥ śleṣmānto na dvitīyaḥ kadācana || balaṃ yat trividham proktaṃ matas tatra kramas tridhā | tatrānukramam ekan tu balasthe sakṛd ācaret || madhyame dvau kramau kuryāt trīn vārān durbbale tathā | kecid evaṃ kramam prāhur mandamadhyottamāgniṣu || kevalaṃ snehapīto vā vānto yaś cāpi kevalam | sa saptarātram manujo bhuñjīta laghu bhojanaṃ || śirāvedhakṛto yaś ca vivikto yaś ca mānavaḥ | māsam parihared agnir yāvan na balavān bhavet || tryahan tryaham parihared ekaikam bastim āturaḥ || tṛtīye parihāre tu yathāyogaṃ samācaret || tailapātrāmamṛdbhāṇḍasadharmmāṇo vraṇāturāḥ | snigdhaśuddhāgnirogārttā jvarātīsāriṇaś ca ye || krudhyataḥ kupitaḥ pittaṃ kuryāt tām̐s tān upadravān | āyāsyataḥ śocato vā cittam vibhramam arcchati || maithunopagamād ghorān vyādhīn arcchati durmmatiḥ | ākṣepakaṃ pakṣaghātam aṅgapragraham eva ca || guhyapradeśe śvayathuṅ kāsaśvāsau ca dāruṇau | śukravac cāsya rudhirāṃ sarujaṃ sampravarttate || divāsvapnāt tu labhate tām̐s tān vyādhīn kaphātmakān | pratiśyāyañ jvaraṃ śopham pāṇḍurogaṃ plihodaraṃ || mohaṃ sadanam aṅgānāṃ sāvipākam arocakaṃ | tamasā cābhibhūtāś ca svapnam evābhinandati || uccaiḥ sambhāṣaṇād vāyuḥ śirasy āpādayed rujaṃ | āndhyam vādhiryamaghratvaṃ mūkatā jaḍatām api || ardditaṃ sahanurmmokṣam adhīmanthañ ca dāruṇaṃ | labhate dantacālañ ca tām̐s tām̐ś cānyān upadravān || yānayānāt tu labhate cchardim mūrcchām bhramaṃ klamaṃ | tathāṅgapragrahaṃ ghoram indriyāṇāñ ca vibhramaṃ || cirāsanān tathā sthānāc chroṇyām bhavati vedanā | aticaṅkramaṇād vāyur jjaṃghorvvoḥ kurute rujāḥ || sakthnoḥ praśoṣaṃ śopham vā pādaharṣam athāpi vā | śītasambhogatoyānāṃ sevā mārutavṛddhaye || vātātapābhyāṃ vaivarṇṇyaṃ jvaram vāpi niga yacchati | niruddhādhyaśanāt mṛtyum vyādhim vā ghoram arcchati || asātmyabhojanād dhanyād balavarṇṇāvasaṃśayaṃ | anātmavantam paśuvad bhuñjate ye pramāṇataḥ || rogānīkasya te mūlam ajīrṇṇāt prāpnuvanti ha || vyāpadāt kāraṇam vīkṣya vyāpatsv eteṣu buddhimān | prayatetāturārogyai pratyanīkena hetunā || viriktavāntair hariṇaiṇalāvakāḥ śaśāś ca sevyāḥ samayūratittirāḥ | saṣaṣṭikāś cāpi purāṇaśālayas tathaiva mudgā laghu yac ca kīrttitam iti ||

athāto dhūmanastakavalacikitsitam vyākhyāsyāmaḥ || pañcavidho dhūmo bhavati || tad yathā || prāyogikaḥ snaihiko vairecanikaḥ kāsaghno vāmanīya iti || tatrailādinā kuṣṭhatagaravarjyena ślakṣṇapiṣṭena dvādaśāṃgulaṃ śarakāṇḍaṃ daśāṅgulagarbbham aṃguṣṭhodarapariṇāhaṃ kṣaumeṇāṣṭāṅgulam pariveṣṭyālepayed eṣā varttiḥ prāyogikaḥ || snehaphalasāramadhūcchiṣṭasarjjarasagugguluprabhṛtibhiś ca snehamiśraiḥ snaihikaiḥ | śirovirecanadravyair vvairecanikaiḥ | bṛhatīkaṇṭakārikātrikaṭukakāsamarddahiṃgviṅgudītvaṅmanaḥśilāchinnaruhākarkkaṭakaśṛṅgīprabhṛtibhiḥ kāsaharaiś ca kāsaghnaiḥ | snāyucarmmakhuraśṛṅgakarkkaṭakāsthiśuṣkamatsyavallūrakrimibhir vvāmanīyaiś ca vāmanīya iti | tatra bastinetradravyair ddhūmanetradravyāṇi vyākhyātāni bhavanti | dhūmanetran tu kanīnikāpariṇāham agre kalāyamātrasroto mūle ṅguṣṭhapariṇāhaṃ dhūmavarttipraveśasroto ṅgulāni catuścatvāriṃśat prāyogike | dvātriṃśat snaihike | caturvviṅśati vairecanike | ṣoḍaśa kāsaghne | daśa vāmanīya iti | atha sukhopaviṣṭaḥ sumanā ṛjvadhodṛṣṭir atandritaḥ | snehapradīptāgrām varttinetrasrotrasi praṇidhāya dhūmam pibed iti || mukhena tam pibem pūrvvan nāsikābhyān tataḥ pibet | mukhapītaṃ mukhenaiva vamet pītañ ca nastataḥ || yo vamen nastato dhūman nastapītam mukhena vā | sa netrakarṇṇanāsāsyasaṃśrayāl labhate gadān || viśeṣatas tu prāyogikaṃ ghrāṇenādadyāt | snaihikaṃ mukhanāsābhyāṃ | nāsikābhyāṃ vairecanikaṃ | mukhenaivetarāv iti | tatra śramabhayāmarṣoṣṇaviṣaraktapittamadamūrcchāpipāsātāluśoṣamūrddhābhighātodgāratimiramehodarādhmānorddhavātontravṛddhibālavṛddhadurbbalaviraktāsthāpitajāgaritagarbbhiṇīrūkṣakṣatakṣīṇoraskā madhughṛtad adhidugdhamadyayavāgūpītāḥ svalpakaphāś ca dhūman na severann iti || akālapīto bhramarī śirorogaṅ karoti hi | nāsāsrotro 'kṣijihvānām upaghātañ ca dāruṇaṃ || dhūmaḥ snaihiko vairecanikaḥ | prāyogiko dvādaśasu kāleṣūpayogo bhavati | tad yathā kṣutadantaprakṣālananasyasnānabhojanadivāsvapnamaithunaccharddanamūtroccārābhir uṣitaśastrakarmmānteṣv iti | tasya vibhāgo mūtroccārakṣavathuruṣitamaithunānteṣu snaihikaḥ | divāsvapnaccharddanāntayor vvairecanikaḥ | dantaprakṣālanasya snānabhojanaśastrakarmmānteṣu prāyogika iti | tatra snaihiko vātaṃ śamayati | snehād upalepayitvāc ca | vairecanikaḥ śleṣmāṇam utkliśyāpakarṣati raukṣyāt taikṣṇyād auṣṇyād vaiṣadyāc ca prāyogikaḥ śleṣmāṇam utkleśayaty utkliṣṭañ cāpakarṣati | śamayati vā sādhāraṇatvāt pūrvvābhyām iti || dhūmaprayogāt puruṣaḥ prasannendriyavāṅmanāḥ | dṛḍhakeśadvijaśmaśrusugandhiviśadānanaḥ || tathā kāsaśvāsārocakāsyapralepasvarabhedamukhāsrāvakṣavathuvamathukrathatandrīhanumanyāstambhapīnasaśirorogalocanaśūlāvātakaphanimittāś cāsya mukharogān apahanti na bhavanti | tasya yogāyogātiyogā vijñātavyā bhavanti | yogas tu dṛṣṭaphalārthaḥ | ayogo yogānirjjayaḥ | atiyogas tāluśoṣaparidāhapipāsābhramamadamūrcchākarṇṇakṣveladṛṣṭirogādaurbbalyayuta i m iti | tatra prāyogikaṃ trīm̐s trīn ucchvāsān ādadyāt paryāgatām̐s trīm̐s trīm̐ś caturo veti | snaihikaṃ yāvad asrupravṛttiḥ | vairecanikam ādoṣadarśanāt | grāsāntareṣu kāsaharaṃ | vairecanikavat tilataṇḍulayavāgūpīto vāmanīyaṃ yathāyoga iti | tatra vraṇanetrabastinetreṇa vraṇadhūmanetraṃ vyākhyātam bhavati || śarāvasampuṭayutaṃ vraṇadhūman nayed vraṇaṃ | dhūmanetreṇa matimān vedanāsrāvaśāntaye || vidhir eṣa samāsena dhūpa masyābhihito mayā | nasyasyātaḥ pravakṣyāmi vidhiṃ kuśalasammitaṃ || auṣadham auṣadhapakvo vā sneho nāsikābhyāṃ pradīyate | nasyan tatpañcavikalpam bhavati || tad yathā || nasyaṃ ‸˅śirovirecanam pratimarśo vapīḍaḥ pradhamanam iti || teṣān nasyaṃ pradhānaṃ śirovirecanaṃ yena nasya x iti x vikalpaḥ pratimarśaḥ | śirovirecanavikalpo vapīḍaḥ pradhamanañ ceti | tato nastaśabdaḥ pañcavidhā nipatati | tatra yaḥ snehārthaṃ śūnyaśirasāṃ grīvāskandhorasām balajananārthan dṛṣṭiprasādajananārtham vā sneha upādīryate | tasmin vaiśeṣike nastaśabdaḥ | tat tu deyaṃ vātābhipanne śirasi | tad yathā | tathā dantakeśaśmasruṇātadāruṇakarṇṇakṣvelatimirasvaropaghātanāsārogamukharogaśoṣāvabāhukākālajavalīpalitaprabodheṣu vātapaittikeṣu ca mukharogeṣu vātapittaharadravyasiddhena sneheneti | śirovirecanam api śleṣmaṇābhivyāptatālugataśirasān tathārocakaśirogauravaśūlapīnasāvabhedakakrimipratiśyāyāpasmāraghrāṇājñāneṣv anyeṣu corddhvajatrugateṣu vikāreṣu śirovirecanadravyasiddhena snehenaiveti || tat tv etad dvividham apy uktaṃ || tatroccārita tamūtrapurīṣāyābhuktavate dravyatre kāle pāṇitāpopasveditamṛditagalakapolalalāṭapradeśāya vātātaparajohīne veśmani uttānaśāyine kiñcit pravilambitaśirase vastrāvacchāditanetrāya vāmahastapradeśinyagronnāmitanāsāgrāya viśuddhasrotase dakṣiṇahastena śuktyā picunā vā sukhoṣṇam adrutam ava vi2cchinnadhārā sā siñced iti | yathā ca netreṇa prāpnoti || snehe 'vasicyati śiro na kañ cana kampayet | na bhāṣen na ca kupyec ca na kṣudhān na sahed api || etair hi vihataḥ sneho na samyak pratipadyate | tataḥ kāsapratiśyāyaḥ śirokṣigadasambhavaḥ || tasya pramāṇan tv aṣṭau bindavaḥ || pradeśinīparvvadvayaniḥsrutāḥ | eṣā mātrā prathamā | dvitīyā śuktiḥ | tṛtīyā pāṇiśuktir ity etās tisro mānāḥ | yathābalam prayojyā bhavantīti | śṛṅgāṭakam abhiplāvya nireti vadanād yathā | kaphotkleśabhayāccainan niṣṭhīved abhidhārayan || dante punar api saṃsvedya galakapolādīn dhūmam āseveta | bhojayec cainam anabhiṣyanti di | ya athāsyācārikam upadiśet | krodhādim pariharec ca | rajodhūmamanastāpadravapānaśirasnānādīni | tasya yogāyogātiyogavijñānaṃ bhavati || lāghavaṃ śiraso yoge sukhasvapnaprabodhanaṃ | vikāropaśamaḥ śuddhir indriyāṇām paraṃ sukhaṃ || ayoge rogānirjjayaḥ kaphaprasekaḥ śiraso gurutendriyavibhramaḥ | atiyoge tāluśoṣapipāsābhramamadamūrcchā ceti || lakṣaṇam mūrddhny atisnigdhe rūkṣan tatrāvacārayet | śirovirecanasyāpi catvāro bindavaḥ ṣaḍ vā tathāṣṭau vā yathābalam śirovirecakasnehasya pramāṇam abhinirddiśet | tasya trīṇy abhivarṇṇyante , lakṣaṇāni prayogataḥ || śuddhihīnātisaṃjñāni viśeṣāc chāstracintakaiḥ | lāghavaṃ śirasaḥ śuddhiḥ srotrasāṃ vyādhinirjjayaḥ || cittendriyaprasādaś ca , śirasaḥ manasaḥ 2 śuddhilakṣaṇaṃ | kaṇḍūpradehagurutā , srotrasāṅ kaphasambhavaḥ || hīnāviśuddhe śirasi lakṣaṇam parikīrttitaṃ | mastuluṅgāgamo vā ta,d dṛṣṭir indriyavibhramaḥ || śūnyatā śirasaś cāpi ,, mūrdhni gāḍhavirecite | hīnātiśuddhe śirasi kaphavātaghnam ācaret || samyak virecite cāpi , sarppir nnaste 'nuṣecayet || nasye tu pariharttavyā bhavanti || tad yathā || bhuktavān apatarppitotyarthan taruṇapratiśyāyī garbbhiṇī madyadravapīḍito jīrṇṇīvastidantaḥ kruddho rāgārttaḥ | tṛṣṇābhibhūto bālo vṛddhaḥ śrānto vegāvarodharataḥ śirasnātukāmaś ceti || nasye śirovireke ca vyāpado dvividhāḥ smṛtāḥ | doṣotkleśakṣayāc caiva vijñeyā ca yathākramaṃ || tatrotkleśanimittāsu yuñjyāc chāmanaśodhane c chamanakopane 3 | atha kṣayanimittāsu yathāsvaṃ bṛṃhanaṃ hitaṃ ,,|| pratimarśas tu caturddaśasu kāleṣūpadeyo bhavati | tad yathā | kālyotthitena | prakṣālitadantena | gṛhā nirggacchatā | vyāyāmavyavāyapariśrātena | mūtroccārakavalāñjanānānte bhuktavatā | chardditavatā | divāsvapnotthitena sāyañ ceti || tatra kālyotthitenāsevitaḥ pratimarśo rātrāv upacitaṃ nāsāsrotrogatam malam upahanti | prakṣālitadantena dantānān dṛḍhatā vadanasaugandhyañ cāpādayati | gṛhān nirggacchatā nāsāsrotrasāṃ snehaklinnatayā | rajodhūmo vā na prabādhate | vyāyāmavyavāyapariśrāntena śramam apahanti | mūtroccārānte dṛṣṭigurutvam apanayati | kavalāñjanānte dṛṣṭim prasādayati | bhuktavatā srotro viśuddhiṃ laghutvaṃ cāpādayati | chardditavatā srotrovilagnaṃ śleṣmāṇam apohya bhaktacchandaṃ kurute | divāsvapnotthitena nidrāśeṣaṃ gauravañ cāpahṛtya cittaikāgryañ janayati | sāyaṃ sukhanidrāprabodham āpādayatīti | īṣad ucchiṅghanāt sneho yadā vaktum prapadyate | naste niṣiktan tam vidyāt pratimarṣam pramāṇataḥ || tena rogāḥ praśāmyanti , narāṇām ūrddhvajatrujāḥ | indriyāṇāñ ca vaimalyaṃ kuryād āsyasugandhi ca || hanudantaśirogrīvā,trikabāhūrasām balaṃ,, | valīpalitakhālityavyaṅgānāñ cāpy asambhavaḥ || tailaṅ kaphe ca vāte ca,, kevalam pavane vasāṃ , | dadyān nastaḥ sadā pitte , sarppirmajjāsamārute ,,|| caturvidhasya snehasya ,, vidhir eṣa prakīrttitaḥ | śleṣmasthānāvirodhitvāt teṣu tailam viśiṣyate || avapīḍan tu śirovirecanavad abhiṣyaṇṇasarppadaṣṭamūrcchitavisaṃjñebhyo dadyāc chirovirecanadravyāṇām anyatamam āsādyāvapīḍam iṣyateti | cetovikārakrimiviṣābhipannānāñ cūrṇṇaṃ pradhamed iti || śarkarekṣurasakṣīrā , ghṛtamāṃsarasam pṛthak | kṣīṇānān nastato dadyād raktapittagadeṣu ca || || ataḥ param pravakṣyāmi , kavaḍagrahaṇe vidhiṃ , | caturddhā kavaḍasnehī prasādī śodhiropaṇau ,|| sngidhoṣṇaiḥ snaihiko vāte , svāduśītaiḥ prasādanaḥ | pitte kaṭvamlalavaṇai , rūkṣaiḥ saṃśodhanaḥ kaphe || kaṣāyatiktamadhuraiḥ kaṭūṣṇo ropaṇo vraṇe , || tatra trikaṭukāśitasarṣapasiddhārthakakalkam āloḍya tailamūtrakṣārasurāśukramadhūnām anyatamena salavaṇam abhiprataptam upasvinnamṛditagalakapolalalāṭapradeśe dhārayet || sukhaṃ sañcāryate yā tu sā mātrā sā kavalāḥ smṛtāḥ | asañcāryā tu yā mātrā ,gaṇḍūṣaḥ sā prakīrttitāḥ || tāvac ca dhārayitavyo nanyamanasānunnatadehena yāvad doṣapratipūrṇṇagalakapolatvan nāsāsrotronayanapariplavaś ca bhavati | tadā vimoktavyaḥ punaś cānyo grahītavyaḥ | evaṃ snehapayaḥkṣaudrarasamūtrāmlasambhṛtāḥ | kasāyoṣṇodakābhyāñ ca kavaḍā doṣato hitāḥ || vyādher apacayas tuṣṭi,r vviṣadaṃ vaktralāghavaṃ | indriyāṇām prasādaś ca , kavaḍe śuddhilakṣaṇaṃ || hīne jāḍyakaphotkleśā,varasajñānam eva ca | atiyogāt mukhe pākaḥ śoṣas tṛṣṇāruciklamāḥ || śodhanīye viśeṣeṇa bhavaty etat tu lakṣaṇaṃ | tilān nīlotpalā sarppiḥ śarkkarā kṣīram eva ca || sakṣaudro dagdhavaktrasya gaṇḍūṣo dāhanāśana,ḥ | kavalasya samāsena vidhir eṣa prakīrttitaḥ || vibhajya bheṣajam buddhyā kurvvīta pratisāraṇaṃ | kalko rasakriyā kṣaudraṃ cūrṇṇaṃ ceti caturvvidhaṃ || aṅgulyagrapraṇītan tu , yathāsvam mukharogiṇāṃ | tasya yogam ayogañ ca , kavaloktam vibhāvayet || bhojayec cānabhiṣyandi , doṣaghnam aśanan naram iti ||
