ghāṭākāropadhīnapuraḥsaṃra ghaṭaśabdena- brahmadravyam abhimukhīkriyate paṭākāropadhānena tu paṭaśaddenetyādy upādhirūpopahitavivekitvaṃm atidhānīyata yathā nāḍikāśuṣiravarmanihitanayanās tadavakyasāvasthitam evārthahāgaṃ vaśyaṃti tathāvadhiṃnaṃ dakūśaktibhir akārabhedair avevastūpalakṣyate tathaiva yathādhyavasāyaṃ śabdaniveśāchabdair abhidhīyata ity artha ||

yathāvaraṇāmineṃdriyasyaiva prakāśāśaktiḥ pratibadhyate na viṣayo vikriyate tathānādyāvachedaprakalpatavibhāgānāṃ jījñānām eva saṃvedanaśaktir niyamyate yena vichināyātidhī || tena bhedaviṣayāsmābhidhānāni prāyuṃjate na tu tatvam avidyayāvanīkṛteya iti nāḍikānidarśanena sūvayati nāḍikādibhir ity ādigrahaṇāvadhīnaprativātamarttyatijanāghṛvarodhaḥ yatrai‾vyevghavadhānaṃ tad eva hy adyadhāryate mūrcyabhijano ya sauṃdarya tenāpahuto nyaṃ na paśyati

tye tahy āṃkāramāganirveśataḥ || eṃniveśāriśabdā || te dharmamātram abhidadhyuḥ || iti sāvartrikī dravyapadārthavyavasthāviśīryota ty āśaṃkyāha |

tiṣv ākāreyuyūḥ || śabdaḥ tathāḥ bhūtedhyu varttato ta cātmakatvāt tenāpi nityam evābhidhīyate |

upādhimātrasvalāves tu pi saṃniveśādyākāreśur saniveośādiśabdāḥ || varttamājāḥ paramārthatas tatvād avyatirekād upādhīnāṃ na tu miṣkarṣe svarūpatvādy atmanaiva sattāt tad eva nityam upādhimadravyam āpatidhāne ti tatvam ātmā hy unādhīnāṃ na tu te tasyātmāne iti vyāpakatvāt sarvapadopādhayas tadātmanā saṃtas tathaivātidhīvate yadā hy upādhimadhīnatā tadopādheva vapādhayo na bhavaṃti tata śrutipūrve dharmotarāśrayatayā svātaṃtryad upādhimatva va nopādhitvam ity āśaya ||

yady evaṃ dharmāṇāṃm avasthāṃtare dharmirūpatvānityatve satyatve vākārāṇām asatyatvaṃ dravyasya tu satyatvam ity etasya niyūmesyānupapattir ity āśaṃkyāha ||

na ca tasyayārte darati dhruvebhya āgamaḥ || atatvam iti manyaṃte tatvam evāvivāvivāritaṃ ||

ayam atrārthaḥ || neho dvaitanaye satyāsatye dve rūpe staḥ advaitahāniprasaṃgāt_ kiṃ tu paramārthekam ekam evādvayaṃ cchānādisiddhāt__ nidhavilaṃvinasahapramāpramāsṛdviṣṭhayatayā yathātvam anavabhāsamānam anekakikalpaparighaṭitākārarūpatayā vyavahāram avatarati tathā va tad evākāranānātve nīyamānasvarūpabhedaṃ vakāsti nānyat_ tadhvatiriktasyānyasyābhāvāt_

evaṃ tena jūpeṇa brahmaiva vikalpitaṃ bhavatīti sarvaviṃvānāṃ tadupādhibhuravaṃ tad eva viṣayaḥ || siddha ity āhā

vikalparūpaṃ || bhajete tatvam evāvilpitamā na vātra kālabhedakta gṛhyate

paramārthataḥ || avikalpitaṃ vikarabhyānām amiṣayo yatatvaṃ tad eva tyavahāre nyasyād vikalpamānaṃ vikalparūpaṃ nānāvidhabhedāvabhāsamānād asiddhāvidyāvaśāt samavalaṃbate jīcātmabhedenāvatiṣṭhamānaṃ tadgatatvenerti vivarttāśrayād avaśaktivibhaktadeśamānātvaṃ nimittapaurvāparyāvulaṃbanasahaṃ evam akālakalitam api tatvam anādinidhanaṃ kālākhyasvataṃtraśaktiviniveśitapratiṃvadhābhyanujñāvaśāj janmādibhāvapikārābhidhīyamānapaurvāparya cakāstīty arthaḥ ||

nanv avidyamanasya tatve pratibhānabhayuktaṃm ity āśaṃkā dṛṣṭāṃtenomamādayāti |

yathā viṣayadharmāṇāṃ jñāne ṃtyaṃnam asaṃbhavātā tadātmeva va tastiddham atyaṃtam atadātmakaṃ ||

vijñānavāde viṣayākārasya tāvato sātyatvāt__ nīlādis tat sahite | dharmo jaḍe jñāne saṃmāvaaitair atyaṃtam iti jaḍājaḍayor na kenavid aṃśena sārūpyam ity āha tathā voktamā ekadeśena sārūpye saṃrva syāt sarvavedanāṃ || sarvātmanā tu sabhūpye jñānam ajñānatāṃ vrajed iti

athavā saṃtavadharmāchuritaṃ vijānaṃ viśuṃvodhasvabhāvam apy anujāyādy avahāre vabhāsata iti itthaṃ nidarśanāṃtaram āhā

tathā vikārarūpāṇāṃ tat te tyaṃtam asaṃbhavaḥ tadātmeva ca tat tacam atyaṃtam atadātmakaṃ |

sāṃkhyāvikṛtaṃ pradhānatatvaṃ sarvavikāragraṃthicījāvasthaṃm abhinamaṃ nupabhṛṣṭam eva śopajāmahadādivikārarūpaiḥ || paramārthataḥ || tad dhi mahadādivikāraśaktiyuktaṃ muṇasāmyāvasthātmakaṃ guṇavaiṣamyavimarddavaśopajāyamānavikāranānātvād vilakṣaṇam eva adyaṃ va sravahāre mahadādivikārarūpāvadhāṇo na vinā tadupalaṃbhāsaṃbhava iti sarvadeśe vyadhiyātradhinī yavam āpy ākāro pradhānena tatvapratisaḥ siddha iti sārthānvayo gṛhītaḥ |

katha punar etad anyāmyate ākārā asatyās tato nyat satvam ity āha |

satyam ākṛmisaṃhāre yad aṃte vyavatiṣṭato tāni śabdavācyaṃ tachabdātvadha na vidyato

tad eva hi nityaṃ yasmiṃ sūtvaṃ na vihanyate iti bhāṣyanusāreṇaitad uvyate | tathā hy atroktaṃ kanam ity eva satyaṃ punar ayākṛtyāny uktaṃ khadirāṃgāraḥ suvarṇakuṇdale bhakta ity anenaiva dṛkṣyaṃte na vikārāpekṣayā bhinnasya brahmaṇaḥ satyatovyate | tathā hi | tatra rūpakādyākāropamarddena suvarṇam ity eva satyaṃ evam anaṃtavikāragrāmopāye saṃrvāte vatipramāṇam anyadyāpi brahmarūpaṃ satyaṃ | tad eva va bhāvato nityam āpekṣyaṃ tu nātvādīnāṃ sarvavyavahāre nityatva ucyato tathā hi vyaktapāye jātir iveti mamānā gotrādikā nityā tatrāpy aśvattādibhedatyāye pṛthivīty eva satyaṃ tatrāpy avādibhedāpāye vastv ity eva satyaṃ sarvanāmapratvāyyaṃ tatrāpi saṃvidrūpatyyanapāyino nugamāviṣāyākāraviveke tad eva pāramārthikaṃ satyam iti neti nety upāsīteti | bhāvanayā voyate saṃvit ca paramaṃtīrūpā parā vākyaśabdabrahmamayīti brahmatatvaṃ śabdāt pāramārthikāt__ na bhidyate vivattaṃ daśāyāṃ tu vaikharyātmanā bhedāḥ tatra ca tad eva nityaṃ jātyādirūpeṇe śabdavācyaṃ tatrāṃtare pādānaviśrātyā vākat__tasya vyavasthāpanāt svarūpāṃtānisyārthasya vācyatvād vāvyavāvakayor avibhāgaḥ || siddhāḥ iti prathamakāṃḍe niṣītaṃ ata evānaṃtaram ihābhidhāsyati tasya śabdārthasaṃbaṃdhaṃ rūpam ekasya dṛśyata iti

yad uktaṃ tadātmeva ca ttatvam atyaṃtam atadātmakam iti tatrātyaṃtam atadātmakātāṃ tāvad vyāvaṣṭo

na tad asti na ta nāsti na tad ekaṃ na tat pṛthak | na maṃsṛṣṭaṃ vibhaktaṃ na vikṛtaṃ na va nānyathā |

vaikārikasarvavyavahāram atīgatvāt pāramārthikena rūpeṇa vikārātmakaṃ tatvaṃ na bhavati tathā hi asīti na śakyate vyavaharbhu satvopādhikasya svarūpasya tatvasya bhāvayogāt tenātmanā vyavahārānavatārāt | nāpi nāstīty abhāvopādhikasyāpy atathāt pramāṇena bhāvātmakasya tv asyāveditatvād

ekasaṃkhyopādhīyamānasvarūpam aviśeṣaṃ tatvaṃ na bhavati nirūpādhitaḥ || tatvasya vastvuto bhiṃnatvāt tathā vaikam ity apratīteḥ || nāpi pṛthak_hitaviśeṣaṃ tahinnasyāsatvāte

nāpi saṃsargopādhikaṃ vibhāgopādhikaṃ vā tato dvitīvyasya pramāṇenānupapatteḥ || kuto bhinnaṃ vittaktaṃ vet keṃna vā saṃsṛṣṭaṃ syāt

pariṇāmaniṣedhena vivarttābhupagamān na vikṛṃta anekadhāvaśrīmarūpattayā vādbhutayā vṛttyā vivarttanādivikṛtam ity api na śakyate vyavahartum iti sarvavyapadeśātītatvaṃ paraṃ brahma

atha va tadātmavāviṣāyām avadhāyeta ity āhā

bhāvābhāvadhikārāvabhāsajanaśakti tad evāsti va satvāsattopādhikavyavahāram ahāṃbhavas tu niḥsattāsaṃttaniḥsadasat paraṃ brahma vyavahārikaṃ vaikānekavyavahāraṃ jātivyaktyātmanā tad eva varttayati saṃkhyopādhikam api va evaṃ saṃyogāpādhikam api anyasaṃsargitayāvabhāsanāt_ evaṃ vivekāvasāyas tatra tathā samastavikārātmanā janyamānam ivākāśādyātmanā kūṭasthayā tad evāvabhāsa iti tadātmaiva tatvam ity uktaṃ

evaṃ ca kṛtvā sarvasya tanmayatvād virodhino pi vyavahārās tatraivopalīyaṃta ity āha ||

tasya śabdārthasaṃbadharūpam ekasya dṛśyate ta dṛśyadarśanaṃ draṣṭā darśane ca prayojanaṃ |

vācyavāvakasaṃbaṃdhānā sāvato dvayarūpato tatra sāṃtaro tatvaśrutyarthaśaktī saṃsṛjyete iti vivarttadaśāyāṃ śrutyarthaśākhātmanā tasyaiva vikāsād vāvyavāvak_rūpatayā bhedāvabhāsau jñānajñeyaivāvidyeteti brahmakāṃḍa eva prapaṃcayam artho mmābhi virṇota imi tata evāvadhāyāṃ

dṛśyarūpatayā va tasyaiva vivarttaḥ || tathā hi dṛśyaṃ tāvahāvajāṃta saṃvirupārūḍhaṃ vedyamānaṃ vedyatvād eva vedam anekam aparārtha prakāśasya prakāśamānatāyogād iti pūrvakāṃḍe dvitīyasiddau va vitatya vicāritaṃ draṣṭāpi jīvātmā avidyākṛtāvachedo niyataḥ || satvaṃ sārī bhoktā brahmaiva vetanatvāhrāvato bhedānupapatter iti tatrevāvekṣitaṃ anena va pradhāvakartṛkarmarūpakārakaniśvayena kārakatirasyāpekṣasiddharūpo vivarttaḥ || pratipāditaḥ ||

darśanaśabdena va pradhānakriyānirdeśakena kriyāṃtarasyāpekṣyāt sadhyasvabhāvakriyāvivartto py uktaḥ kālaśaktyavachinnādi kriyāvivarttaḥ || divaśa-ktyavachinnaṃsya mūrttivivarttya iti mūrttikriyāvivarttarūpaṃ viśvaṃ pratipādiṃta |

prayojanaśabdena va samatikriyāphala iti nidarśa iti sādhyasādhanaphalarūpatayā viśvasaṃkalānāyām aśeṣavivarttānuguṇyaṃ brahmaṇaḥ || pratipāditāṃ || ekasya sarvapījasya veyayam ekadhā noktabhoktavyarūpeṇa bhogarūpeṇa sthitir iti brahmakāṃḍe pratipādivaṃ tatraiya va satatvanirṇayo smābhi vyavadhāyi prā-dyopākhyātmākatvāt_ vyavahārasya dditye śabdārthasaṃbaṃdharūpaṃ tadṛśyadarśanaṃ veti bhede‾sra nirdeśaḥ || etav vāvidhyāmayaṃ rūpaṃ kathyate ta pāramārthikaṃ tu prakāśāṃtaprapaṃcarūpaṃ vakṣyati yatra draṣyāvasā dṛśyaṃ vaṃ darśanaṃ vāvikalpitaṃ tasyaivārthasya prityatvaṃ śritās traiṣyaṃtavedina iti

yuktam idaṃ ākṛtisaṃhāre te yad avatiṣṭhate tat satyaṃm iti taitrat syād ante ja kiṃvid avatiṣṭhate asadam apadam eṃvaitad viśvam āvirbhavatīty āśaṃkyāpi hetunā'bhinnakāraṇapūrvakatvam anvayamukhenna dṛstāṃtopakramaṃ sādhayitum āha ||

vikārāpagame sa suṃvarṇaṃ kuṃḍale yathā vikārāpagame satyāṃ tathāhuḥ || prakṛviṃ paṇāṃ

kuṃḍalasvātmakavikārāpāye dhe kuṃḍale suvarṇam ekaṃ satyam avatiṣṭhate yathā tathā pṛthivyādivikāravigame nvayinī prakṛtir abhiṃbhā saty avatithata ity upeyaṃ āhur ity āgamapramāṇasiddhatāṃ dhvanati brahmaṇaḥ tathā coktaṃ ekam eva padāmnātaṃm iti ātmaivedaṃ śasvam iti hi śrutiḥ upodvalamātraṃ vānumānaṃ tathādi nirūpākhyād asato parāt prādurbhāvo na yuḥktaḥ śvabhāvasya bhāvarūpatvavirodhān na hi śaśaśṛṃgāt kasyavid udva | kṣodbhavo dṛśyate asti ca jñānarūpatayā jagaty anvaya iti tatpūrvam evaiva tat || ta‾ śvadhyati nvābhāvo jāyate bhāvo naikabhāvo nupākhyatāṃm iti || tasya vidrūpasya vichaktir apariṇāminīti vikārābhāvān nedaṃ śāṃkhyanayavatvarināmadarśanaṃ api tu vivarttapakṣaḥ || viśeṣaś va | nayor gākyamadīye smābhir vyākhyātam iti tata evāvādhāryaṃ ihāpi saṃbaṃdhasamuddeśe vakṣyeta kāraṇāṃtaravyudā
