In the manuscript, va and ba are not distinguished, and ī is often mistaken as ā. The consonant cluster dbha is often written as bhda — this has been indicated in the transcription with the <g> tag. This manuscript is very closely correlated with the manuscript from the Asiatic Society of Bengal (K); in fact, in one place, it omits one full line from K, which may indicate that this manuscript was copied directly from K. However, it also has some readings which are more correct than K, namely vākyapadīye where K has vokyapadīye. upādhimātrasvabhāveṣv api saṃniveśādyākāreyu saṃniveśādiśabda vartamānā paramārthatas tatvād avyatirekād upādhīnāṃ tanniṣkarṣaṃ svarūpasyāsvarūpatvād ātmanaiva satvāt tad eva nityam upādhimallīnatā tadā dravyam evam apy abhidhāne bhihitaṃ bhavāti tatvam ātmā hy apādhānā na tu tevalasyātmāna iti vyāpakatvāt sarva evopādhayas tadātmanā saṃtas tathaivābhidhāyaṃte dā hy upādhimallānatā tadopādheya dhayo na bhavaṃti tatas tu nimeṣe dharmāṃtarāśrayatayā svātaṃtryād upādhimatvam eva nopādhitvam ity āśayaḥ

yady evaṃ dharmāṇām avasthāṃtare dharmirūpatvān nityatve satyatve cākārīṇām asatyatvaṃ dravyasya tu satyatvam ity etasya niyamasyānupapatir ity āśaṃkyāha

na tatvātatvayor bheda iti vṛddhebhya āgamaḥ atatvam iti manyaṃtve tatvam evā'vivāritaṃ

ayam atrārthaḥ nehādvaitanaye satyāsatye dve rūpe stuḥ advaitahāniprasaṃgāt_ kiṃ tu pāramārthikam evam evādvayaṃ¦ tac cānādisiddhāviyāvilasitasahayamāpramātṛviṣayatayā yathātatvam atadhabhāsamānam anekavikalpaparighaṭitākārarūpatayā vyavahāram avatarati tathā va tad evākāranānātvonnāyamānasvarūpabheda cakāsti nānyat_ tadvyatiriktasyānyasyābhāvāt_

tatra ca yo yaṃ prakāśaḥ sa vidyā aprakāśas tu tamo vidyā na ca prakāśābhāvo prakāśo nāma kaścit prakāśamāṇasiddho nirūpyaḥ tataś ca yo yaṃ bhedaprakāśaḥ saivaikaghānaprakāśābhāvaḥ prakāśavichedo vidyā tatra va vichinnānvayo vachedo vadhāryate iti vichinnaprakāśaḥ satyo vidyaiva vichedamātraṃ tv apradhānasvabhāvaṃ na kiṃcid avidyeti paramārthatvavicāre kiṃcid atatvaṃ vyavatiṣṭate tatvam eva yathāpratibhāsaṃ bhedena cakāsad avicāritaramaṇāyaṃ prapaṃco tatvam iti vyavahriyata iti brahmavidaḥ tathā cāvicāritaramaṇīyaṃ parākṣayā vyavasthitaṃ tatvam evābhinnaṃ tīrthikā bhedadarśanavyavasthitā bhedātmakam atatvaṃ manyaṃta iti vicāreṇa brahmaiva vikalpitaṃ bhavatītilaye brahmaikaniṣṭatā darśanaṃ tad uktaṃ satyā viśuddhis tatroktā vidyaivetyādi

evaṃ tena tena rūpeṇa brahmaiva vikalpitaṃ bhavatīti sarvaviśabdānāṃdyānāṃ tadupādhimukhaṃ tad eva viṣayaḥ siddha ity āha

vikalparūpaṃ bhajate tatvam evāvikalpita na cātra kālabhedo sti kālabhedaś ca¦ gṛhyate

paramārthato 'vikalpita vikalpānām aviṣayo yat tattvaṃ tad eva vyavahāre nyasyābhāvād vikalpamānaṃ vikalparūpaṃ nānātridha¦bhedāvabhāsamānādisiddhāvidyāvaśāt samavalaṃbate jīvātmabhedenāvatiṣṭamānaṃ tadgatatveneti mūrtivivarttāśrayadikaśaktinibhiktadeśanānātvaṃ nimittapaurvāparyāvalaṃbanasahaṃ evam akālakalitam api tatvam anādinidhanaṃ kālākhyasvataṃtraśaktivinive¦śitapratibaṃdhābhyanujñāvaśāj janmādibhāvavikārābhidhāyamānapaurvāparyaṃ cakāstāty arthaḥ

na tv avidyamānasya tatve pratibhānam ayuktam ity āśaṃkā dṛṣṭāṃtenopapādayati

yathā viṣayadharmāṇāṃ jñāne tyaṃtam asaṃbhava tadātmeva ca tat siddham atyaṃtam atadātmakaṃ

vijñānavāde viṣayākārasya tāvato satyatvātīlādis tadgato dharmo jaḍā 'jaḍe jñāne saṃbhavo 'tyaṃtam iti jaḍājaḍayor na kenacid aṃśena¦ sārūpyam ity āha tathā coktaṃ ekadeśena sārūpye sarvaṃ syāt sarvavedanaṃ sarvātmanā tu sārūpye jñānam ajñānatā vrajed iti

athavā saṃbhavidharmo kṣuritaṃ viśuddhabodhasvabhāvam apy anujñāyā vyavahāre vabhāsata iti itthaṃ nidarśanāṃtaram āha

tathā vikārarūpāṇāṃ tatve tyaṃtam asaṃbhavaḥ tadātmeva ca tat tatvam atyaṃtam atadātmakaṃ

sāṃkhyāvikṛtaṃ pradhānatatvaṃ sarvavikāragraṃthi bījāvastham abhinnam anupasṛṣṭam eva mahādādivikāraśaktiyuktaṃ guṇasāmyāvaśyātmakaṃ guṇavaiṣamyavimardavaśopajāyamānavikāranānātvād vilakṣaṇam eva ayaṃ ca vyavahāre mahāṃdādivikārarūpāvadhāraṇena vinā tadupalaṃbhāsaṃbhava iti saveddeśe tha vidyātuvinī evam asatyākāro pradhānena tatvapratibhāsaḥ siddha iti sādhyānvayo gṛhītaḥ

kathaṃ punar etad avagamyate ākārā asatyās tato nyat satyam ity āha

satyam ākṛtisaṃhāre yad aṃte vyavatiṣṭate tan nityaṃ śabdavācyaṃ tachabdāṃtatvaṃ na bhidyate

tad eva hi nityaṃ yasmiṃs tatvaṃ na vihanyate iti bhāṣyanusāreṇaitad ucyate tathā hy atroktaṃ kanakam ity ava satya punar aparayākṛtyā yuktaṃ khadirāṃgāraḥ suvarṇakuṃḍale bhavata ity anenaiva dṛṣṭāṃtena vikārāpekṣayā bhinnasya brahmaṇaḥ satyatocyate tathā hi tatra hacakādyākāropamardena suvarṇam ity eva satyaṃ evam anaṃtavikāragrāmāpāṃye sarvāṃte vatiṣṭamānam anapāyi brahmarūpaṃ satyaṃ tad eva va bhāvato nitya āpetyaṃ tu jātyādīnāṃ sarvavyavahāre nityatvam ucyate tathā hi vyaktyapāye jātir avatimumānā gotvādikā nityā tatrāpy asvatvādibhedatyāge pṛthivīty ava satyaṃ tatrāpy atyādibhedāpāye vastv ity eva satyaṃ sarvanāmapratyāyyaṃ tatrāpi saṃvidrūpasyāṃ nuyāyino nugamād aviṣayākāraviveke tad eva pāramārthikaṃ satyam iti neti nety upāsīteti bhāvanayā codyate saṃvic ca paśyaṃtīrūpā parār vāk_ śabdabrahmamayīti brahmatatvaṃ śabdāt pāramārthikān na bhidyatte vi¦varttadaśāyāṃ tu vaiśvaryātmanā bheda tatra ca tad eva nityaṃ jātyādirūpeṇa śabdavācyaṃ tatrāṃtare pādānaviśrāṃtyā vācakatvasya vyavasthāpanāt sarūpāṃtargatasyārthasya vācyatvād vācyavācakayor avibhāgaḥ siddhaḥ iti prathamakāṃḍe niṇātaṃ ata evānaṃtaram ihābhidhāsyati tasya śabdārthasaṃbaṃdhaṃ rūpam ekasya dṛśyata iti

yad uktaṃ tadātmeva ca tat tavam atyaṃtam atadātmakam iti tatrātyaṃtam atadātmakatāṃ tāva¦d vyācaṣṭe

na tad asti na tan nāsti na tad ekanaṃ tat pṛthak_ na saṃsṛṣṭaṃ vibhaktaṃ vā na vikṛtaṃ na va nānyathā

vaikārikasarvavyavahārātītatvāt pāramārthikena rūpeṇa vikārātmakaṃ tatvaṃ na bhavati tathā hi astāti na śakyate vyavaharttuṃ satvopādhikasya svarūpasya tatvasya bhāvayogāt tenātmanā yavahārānavatārāt_ nāpi nāstīty abhāvopādhikasyāpy atathātvāt pramāṇena bhāvātmakasya tattvasyāveditatvād

ekasaṃkhyopādhāyamānasvarūpam aviśeṣaṃ tatvaṃ na bhati nihayādhitaḥ tatvasya vastuto bhinnatvāt tathā caikam ity apratīte nāpi pṛthaktvāhitaviśeṣaṃ tadbhinnasyāsatvāt_

bhāvāvavikārāvabhāsajananaśakti tad evāsti ca sattāsattopādhikavyavahāramahāram ahebhāvas tu niḥsattāsattaṃ niḥsadasat paraṃ brahma vyavahārikaṃ caikānekavyavahāraṃ jātivyaktyātmanā tad eva vartayati saṃkhyopādhikam api ca evaṃ saṃyogopādhikam api anyasaṃsargitayāvabhāsanāt_ evaṃ vivekāvasāyas tatra tathā samastavikārātmanā janyamānam ivākāśādyātmanāt kaṭasthatayā tad evāvabhāsa iti tadātmaiva tatvam ity uktaṃ

evaṃ ca kṛtvā sarvasya tanmayatvād virodhino pi vyavahārās tatraivopalīyaṃta ity āha

tasya śabdārthasaṃbaṃdharūpam ekasya dṛśyate tad dṛśyaṃ darśanaṃ draṣṭā darśane va prayojanaṃ

vācyavācakasaṃbaṃdhānā bhāvato dvayarūpatā tatra hy āṃtare tatvayujyarthaśaktī saṃsajyete iti vivartadaśāyāṃ śrutyarthaśākhātmanā tasyaiva vikāsād vācyavācakarūpatayā bhedāvabhāsau jñānajñeyaivāvidyeti brahmakāṃḍa eva prapaṃcenāyam artho smābhir nirṇāta iti tata evāvadhāryaṃ

dṛśyarūpatayā va tasyaiva vivartaḥ tathā hi dṛśyaṃ tāvad bhāvajātaṃ saṃcidupārūṭaṃ vedyamānaṃ veyatvād eva vedam anekam aparārthaprakāśasya prakāśamānatāyogād iti pūrvakāṃḍaṃ dvitīyasiddhau ca vitatya vicāritaṃ ṣṭāpi jāvātmā avidyākṛtāvachedo niyataḥ satvaṃ sārī bhoktā brahmaiva cetanatvād bhāvato bhedānupapatter iti tatraivāveditaṃ anena ca

pradhānakriyānirdeśakena kriyāṃtarasyāpekṣāt sādhyasvabhāvakriyāvivarto py uktaḥ kālaśaktyavachinnā hi kriyāvivartaḥ dik_śaktyavachinnasya mūrtivivarta iti mūrtikriyāvivartarūpaṃ viśvaṃ pratipāditaṃ

prayojanaśabdena ca saṃmatikriyāditaṃ ekasya sarvabījasya ceyam anekadhā bhoktṛbhoktavyaphala iti nidarśa iti sādhyasādhanaphalarūpatayā viśvasaṃkalāyānām aśeṣavivartānuguṇyaṃ brahmaṇaḥ pratipāditaṃ ekasya sarvabījasya ceyam ekadhā bhoktṛbhoktavyarūpeṇa bhogarūpeṇa sthitir iti brahmakāṃḍe pratipāditaṃ tatraiva va satatvanirṇayo smābhi vyavadhāyi prācyopākhyātmakatvāt_ ca vyavahārasya dvitve śabdārthasaṃbaṃdharūpaṃ tad dṛśyadarśanaṃ ceti bhedenātra nirdeśaḥ etac cāvidyāmayaṃ rūpaṃ kathyate pāramārthikaṃ tu prakāśātaprapaṃcarūpaṃ vakṣyati yatra draṣṭā ca dṛśyaṃ va darśanaṃ cāvikalpitaṃ tasyaivārthasya satyatvaṃ śritās trayyaṃtavedina iti

yuktam idaṃ ākatisaṃhāre te yad avatiṣṭhate tat satyam iti tatraitat syād atre na kiṃcid avatiṣṭate asadam apadam evaitad viśvam āvirbhavatīty āśaṃkyāpi hetunābhinnakāraṇasarvakatvam anvayamukhena dṛṣṭāntomakramaṃ sādhayitum āha

vikārāpagame satyaṃ satyaṃ suvarṇaṃ kuṃḍale yathā vikārāpagame satyāṃ tathāhuḥ prakṛtiparāṃ

kuṃḍalasvātmavikārāpāye dve kuṃḍale svavarṇam ekaṃ satyam avatiṣṭate yathā tathā pṛthivyādivikāravigame nvayinī prakṛtir abhinnā saty avatiṣṭata ity apeyaṃ āhur ity āgamapramāṇasiddhatāṃ dhvanati brahmaṇaḥ tathā coktaṃ ekam eva yad āmnātam iti ātmaivedaṃ satyam iti hi śrutiḥ upodbalamātraṃ cānumānaṃ tathā hi nirūpākhyād asato parāt prādurbhāvo na yuktaḥ abhāvasya bhāvarūpatvavirodhān na hi śaśaśṛṃgāt kasyacid uduvo dṛśyate asti ca vijñānarūpatayā jagaty anvaya iti tatpūrvam evaivakṣyatat_ tathā ca vati nābhāvo jāyate bhāvo naikabhāvo nupākhyatām iti lasya cidbhūyasya cichaktir apariṇāminīti vikārābhāvān nedaṃ sāṃkhyanayavatpariṇāmadarśanaṃ api tu vivartapakṣaḥ viśeṣaś cānayo vākyapadīye smābhir vyākhyātam iti tata evāvadhāryaṃ ihāpi saṃbaṃdhasamudeśe vakṣyate kāraṇāṃtadravyadāsaś cādvayabhiddhau abhihita iti saty arthitve tata evāvagaṃtavyaḥ

tad evam ātmaśabdābhidheyasya brahmaṇaḥ padārthaparamārtharūpatvād adravyarūpatvam upapādya sarvaśabdavācyatvaṃ tasyaiva nigamamitum āha

vidyā sā sarvaśabdānāṃ śabdāś ca na pṛthak_ tataḥ apṛthaktve ca saṃbaṃdhas tayor nānātmanor iva

tattadupādhiparikalpitabhedabahutayā vyavahārasyāpi vidyābhūyastve pratiniyatākāro sthāyamānarūpabhedaṃ brahmaiva sarvaśabdaviṣaya ity ukto rthaḥ ātmā brahma tatvam ity udaye pi hi śabdāḥ samavalaṃbitopādhayo thātmānam ana parivartaṃte nihapādhito vādyeṣayātītatvād vā manasātītaṃ hi tatvam ity upadiśaṃti brahmavidaḥ yadi śabdāpekṣeyā tv ātmādiśabdāḥ pratyāsannāḥ sarvasya va tanmayatvāchabdā api tadātmikāḥ yathāvibhaktaṃ prāk_ abhede pi va pāramārthikasaṃvato lokayālāyāṃ bhedo satya itīvaśabdaḥ ata eva dviṣṭasaṃbaṃdhopapatiḥ

nanu cedraṃjālam idaṃ yad avavṛttarūpabhedānām api bhāvānām anāvṛtya tatvam avasīyamānāparamārthatopadeśanam ity āśaṃkya dṛṣṭāṃtenetat sādhayitum āha

ātmā para priyo dveṣyo vaktā vācyaṃ prayojanaṃ viruddham upalabhyate

svapnāvasthāgataḥ prapaṃco jāgarayā bādhyamānatvād asatya iti sarvavādyabhyupagamaḥ tenaiva dṛṣṭāṃtena jāgarāyām api bhāvabhedas turāyadayām ananuvṛtter asatyo vasthāpyate yat kitsa sarvāvasthāsv anugataṃ tad eva satyaṃ tac ca saṃvinmātraṃ rūpam abādhyamānaṃ avasthābhedas tv āgamāpāyitvād bādhi¦taḥ sat sukhaduḥkhādivat_ tathā hi rāgādayaḥ sukhādayaś cāsvabhāvatvāt saṃvinmātraṃ rūpaṃ na vikurvaṃti tathāvasthābhedo py anekākārabuddhyopahataḥ

tatra svapnaṃ viruddhakārollekho vaikalpikā dṛṣṭiḥ pratimātṛniyatā vaikalpikīti ko bhimāno vyāpārānusarī saṃsārī saṃsārī bhoktā sa ca bhāvatad acetanatvāt_ brahmaiva tathā ca tāvati svātaṃtryānimitāpāśvaro nanyopādānābhāvāt_ nābhāsyāyat tu priyāpriyarūpatayā rāgadveyādimayena saṃsāramohena paravibhāgābhāgānusārī parasaṃkathādiṣu tathādāhu dāṃtatatvanipuṇāḥ pravibhajyātmanātmānaṃ sṛṣṭvā bhāvān_ pṛthagvidhān sarveśvaraḥ sarvamayaḥ svapne bhoktā pravartate iti bhokteti pratyagātmasṛṣṭir iyam uktā tasya ca sarveśvaratvāt_ brahmarūpatve sṛṣṭisāmarthyam uktaṃ sarvamayatvāc cānanyopādānavicitrabhāvasvanām ātmopājñānām āhuḥ ata eva pravibhajyātmanātmānam iti kartṛkarmabhedābhāvāc ca vaikalpikatvam asya sṛṣṭeḥ sphuṭaktaṃ bāhyopādānā tu jāgarāyām aiśvarī sṛṣṭir viśvaśabdavācya sarvapramātṛsādhāraṇā

sthiratvāsthiratvagrahāvedānimittas tu bhedaḥ avidyāpravṛtirūpatvāt_ punar asatyatā samānaiva kevalaṃ satyām avidyām aparo mohaś cichakter āvārako nidrā nāma tadvaśād atraiva matatvābhimāne rvāgdṛśāṃ paramārthadṛśāṃ tuṃ jananamaraṇarahitaiḥ pravibhakte kūṭasthe parasmin brahmaṇi cidānaṃdarūpe sarvam eva jagaj jāgratsvapnāyavasthāgaṃta mūrtikriyāvivartarūpaṃ sa sṛtsapram anvayicitsāmānyamātraṃ tu paramārtha iti siddhaṃ viruddhaṃm apalabhyata iti vadann avidyāyāṃ virodham abhyupaiti etad eva hy avidyāyāḥ svarūpaṃ yad anupapadyamānam apy āsopagamaṃ nayati pam uparacayā jagalādyam ātanotīty avicāritaramaṇāyām imām apanayaṃti tatvadṛśaḥ

iti bhūtirājatanayahelārājakṛte prakārṇaprakāśe dravyasamuddeśo dvitīyaḥ śubhaṃ
